Archer Daniels Midland is engaged in procuring, transporting, storing, processing and merchandising agricultural commodities and products. Co. operates three key segments: Oilseeds Processing, which processes oilseeds, such as soybeans, cottonseed, sunflower seeds, peanuts, and flaxseed into vegetable oils and meals; Corn Processing, which produces syrups, starches, dextros and sweeteners used in the food and beverage industry, as well as produces bioproducts such as alcohol and amino acids; and Agricultural Services, which buys, stores, cleans and transports agricultural commodities and resells these commodities as feed ingredients and raw materials for the agricultural processing industry.
