JetBlue Selling Panic Presents Opportunity
Mark Krieger submits: My bullish piece on JetBlue JBLU back near the end of May has not fared too well. Since the article, the shares have retreated an additional 25% to hit fresh multi-year lows. The culprit was most likely an additional 7% rise in crude. I was definitely "out...
Slimfast Diet, Airlines Version

JetBlue Improves Wireless Internet Onboard
Back in December, JetBlue rolled out its plane called Beta Blue. This plane was set to be its testbed aircraft. It became the first airline to offer free inflight email and IM, but it was highly restrictive. You could only check your Yahoo! account or use your...
Time to Buy Airline Stocks?
Richard Dwyer submits: Few sectors have been as decimated as airline stocks. In an era where Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) has a market cap of roughly $178 billion, many are surprised to learn that many airline stocks have market caps of under $5 billion. Indeed, many well known names...

JetBlue's New "Jetting" Marketing Campaign

Virgin America Adds Long Haul Flights, JetBlue Cuts Them
I'm back from my Peruvian travels. Did you miss me? Yeah, I didn't think so. There were some very interesting developments in transcontinental flying while I was gone, and I think it's important to note how two similar airlines are reacting the current market conditions. First...

Two Monumental Airline Screwups -- One JetBlue Recovery
Not much love was flying JetBlue's way on Valentine's Day 2007. You remember the stories. Trapped in the teeth of a sudden storm, JetBlue customers were stranded on New York runways, some for more than six hours, and many were delayed days to reach their ultimate destinations....
