John Deere Capital provides and administers financing for retail purchases of new equipment manufactured by Deere & Company's agricultural equipment, commercial and consumer equipment, and construction and forestry divisions and used equipment taken in trade for this equipment. Co. generally purchases retail installment sales and loan contracts (retail notes) from Deere & Company and its wholly-owned subsidiaries. Co. also purchases and finances a limited amount of non-Deere retail notes and continues to service a small portfolio of recreational products and other retail notes.
