Mr. Rittenhouse was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Uniform Code Council, Inc. (UCC) from 1997 to 2004. The UCC is a global corporation which develops standards and technologies which have advanced the industry's adoption of intelligent business strategies to reduce costs and increase efficiencies throughout the entire supply chain. Under Mr. Rittenhouse's leadership, the UCC grew from 24 associates headquartered in Dayton , Ohio to over 250 associates worldwide from its current headquarters located outside Princeton , New Jersey . UCC led the effort to fund important research at the Auto-ID Center at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which resulted in the practical, multi-industry application of Electronic Product Code (EPC), low cost radio frequency technology, to the global supply chain. Prior to joining UCC, Mr. Rittenhouse had a successful 32-year career in the retail industry, ultimately serving as Vice President of Operations, Administration and Controller of Strawbridge & Clothier. He is active in a number of non-profit and civic organizations. Mr. Rittenhouse's current board and committee appointments include the Executive Committee and Chair of the Audit and Compensation Committees of Boardwalk Bank; Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit and Compensation Committees of StarCite Inc.; Board of Directors of Loftware, Inc.; and Chair of the Board of Managers of Old Pine Community Center. He formerly served as Chairman of the Board of Directors, National Retail Federation Information Systems Division. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration at LaSalle University , Philadelphia .
