Debbie Johnston has served on the KTB Board of Directors since 1996. She currently chairs the Leadership Committee and serves on the Executive Committee and, over the past 10 years, has held positions in numerous other committees including Communications and Fund Development. Mrs. Johnston is the Regional Manager of Marketing and Public Affairs for Abitibi-Consolidated. She has worked for the company for 16 years, supporting many divisions of the company's operations, from paper and wood products manufacturing operations, to forestry and recycling. She currently provides communications and government affairs support to five of the company's recycling centers across Texas. Mrs. Johnston is a member of the Texas Forest Industries Council and serves on the board of the Texas Association of Business.

Dr. Black is a native of Europe and received his Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from Union College in New York, where he was elected a Phi Beta Kappa scholar. He studied law in France and subsequently graduated from McGill University in Montreal with a Doctorate in Medicine. In the mid 1970's, Dr. Black organized Interinvest in Montreal as a global money management firm affiliated with his family's investment business in Zurich. Today, Interinvest manages accounts for private and institutional clients who are serviced through offices in Boston and Montreal, and its affiliate offices in London and Zurich. Dr. Black has been widely quoted, appearing in publications such as Barron's, The International Herald Tribune, The Financial Times, Euromoney and The Wall Street Transcript. In addition, he appears frequently as a special guest on the PBS network show The Nightly Business Report. Dr. Black has been asked to address numerous groups of professional and private investors around the U.S. and Canada, including the National Association of Business Economists. He has also been a guest lecturer at both Harvard and McGill universities. Dr. Black is a member of the boards of AbitibiBowater Inc., Wi2Wi Inc., Amorfix Life Sciences Ltd., RPMH Global Macro Funds Ltd.and of la Fondation Institut de Cardiologie de Montreal. He is also a member of the Advisory Council of The Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins University, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Washington National Opera. In addition, Dr. Black serves as chairman of the board of the Quebec-based food company, Les Aliments SoYummi Inc.

Mr. Tory is a member of the Human Resources Committee and has been a director since 1978. Mr. Tory was Deputy Chairman of Thomson from 1978 to 1997 and President of Woodbridge from 1973 to 1998. Mr. Tory is also a director of Rogers Communications Inc.

Mrs. Davidge is a Partner in the law firm Torys LLP. She obtained a bachelors degree from University of Toronto. After obtaining her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, she joined Torys LLP where she continues her practice today as a partner of the firm and a leading lawyer in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and investment funds. She has been a member of her firm's Executive Committee and is currently a member of the Advisory Committee of University College, University of Toronto.
