ABX Air Inc.

Mr. Hete was President and Chief Operating Officer of ABX Air from January 2000 to August 2003. From 1997 until January 2000, he held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Hete served as Senior Vice President, Administration, from 1991 to 1997; and Vice President, Administration, from 1986 to 1991. He joined ABX Air in 1980. Mr. Hete does not serve on any of the committees of the Board.

President David Ross is a 767 Captain for ABX Air, Inc. He has been flying express cargo for ABX Air in the DC-8 and 767, logging over 6,000 hours since 1992. He is also chairman of the Global Cargo Pilots Alliance, which represents pilots in the global DHL network. In the past, he has served the union as vice president, contract negotiator, professional standards and ethics board member, arbitration board member, and legislative affairs committee chairman. Prior to joining ABX, Ross, an Air Force Academy graduate, was an instructor and evaluator pilot in the Air Force, logging 2,600 hours in the B-52 and T-37. He earned a Distinguished Flying Cross and two Air Medals for his contributions to Operation DESERT STORM. On the second night of the war, he led the deepest low-altitude bombing mission in the history of the Air Force to attack a target deep within Iraq. Evading enemy fighters and anti-aircraft fire, he flew for over three hours at less than three hundred feet above the ground using night-vision and infrared cameras. He successfully struck his target and led his two-ship formation out of Iraq and back to Diego Garcia. He logged over 170 combat hours before the conflict ended.

Vorholt, 51, has served as one of our directors since August 2002. Vorholt, a CPA and an attorney, is a visiting instructor of accountancy at Miami University (Ohio) and an adjunct professor of accountancy at Xavier University since November 2001. He was chief financial officer of Structural Dynamics Research Corporation, a public software company, from 1994 until its sale to Electronic Data Systems Corporation in November 2001. From 1991 to 1994, Vorholt was senior vice president of accounting and information systems at Cincinnati Bell Telephone Company and was senior vice president, a director and chief financial officer of Cincinnati Bell Information Systems Inc. (now Convergys) from 1991 to 1994. Vorholt also serves as a director and chairman of the Audit Committee of ABX Air, Inc.
