(MAD: ANA) is a large global construction firm offering many services, from real estate development and construction to airport ground services. It has wind-energy farms, hydropower plants, and cogeneration facilities. It operates in three segments: real estate and infrastructure, energy, and services. The company has annual revenue of about $6 billion and employs about 21,900 people. In March 2006 ACCIONA acquired Pridesa for approximately $180 million and is now the world leader in reverse osmosis desalination. In 2005, Acciona invested over $1.5 billion to acquire 100% of EHN, make investments in Acciona Infrastructure and Acciona Real Estate, and acquire Ramel.
