Li Yu has served as a member of our board of directors since June 2004. Since December 1991, Mr. Yu has served as the Chairman of the board of directors and, since January 1993, as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Preferred Bank, a financial institution. From 1987 until December 1991, Mr. Yu served as President of Greenway International, a privately held real estate investment company. From 1982 to 1987, he served as Chairman of the board of directors of California Pacific National Bank, which was acquired by an entity subsequently acquired by Bank of America. Mr. Yu holds an M.B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Professor Fraser C. Henderson, Sr., is Director of Neurosurgery of the Spine and Craniocervical Junction, Co-Director of the Neuro-Oncology and Childhood Cancer Division of the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, Co-Director of Radiosurgery and Medical Director of the Acute and Step-Down Brain and Spine Units at Georgetown University Hospital.. He specializes in tumors of the skull base, spinal cord and spine, and has worked with the CyberKnife System to advance stereotactic radiosurgical treatment of spinal and craniocervical tumors. He is a well- known lecturer on treatment of the disorders of the spine having made over 70 scientific presentations and published 50 articles in professional journals and specialty texts. He holds 4 patents in the US for devices pertaining to cancer and trauma of the spine. His present research focuses on regulation of surface molecules in cancer and trauma, and the development of stress models of the brainstem and spine in chronic and acute injury. Dr. Henderson received his baccalaureate and medical degree from the University of Virginia. He, received training in general surgery at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia, and then studied neurosurgery under Professor Phanor Perot at the Medical University of South Carolina. Commander Henderson served in three campaigns with the USN. He was the International Fellow for Spine and Craniocervical Surgery under Professor Crockard, at The National Hospitals for Neurology and Neurosurgery at Queen Square, London. Dr. Henderson holds membership in the Cushing Society, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Washington Academy of Neurosurgeons, the Joint AANS-CNS Sections for Tumors, Spine and Peripheral Nerves, Trauma and Critical Care.
Mr. Weiss has been Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company since January 2005. Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President since October 1995 and Chief Financial Officer since 1989. He also served as Treasurer from 1989 to March 2002. From October 1992 until October 1995 he served as Senior Vice President. From March 1984 to October 1992 he served as a Vice President, and from 1984 through July 1990 he served as Corporate Controller. He previously held a number of financial positions with the Company and at Cooper Laboratories, Inc. (the Company's former parent) since joining the Company in 1977.p>

Wayne Wu has served as a member of Accuray’s board of directors since April 1998 and Chairman since May 2004. Mr. Wu is also a member of Green Tree Investment Company board of directors. Green Tree Investment Company owns and operates a chain of upscale budget business hotel in the People’s Republic of China. Since June 2005 Mr. Wu has been the President of Pacific Health Investment, Inc., a life science investment company. Prior to Pacific Health Investment, Inc, Mr. Wu co-founded Pacific Republic Capital Group in February 1998, a venture capital fund that specialized in real estate and life sciences investment. From February 1998 through May 2005 Mr. Wu was the fund’s co-manager and held various board seats in companies which Pacific Republic Capital Group had made an investment including Accuray Incorporated, Aurora Imaging Technology, Inc. and Sandpoint Design, Inc. Prior to founding Pacific Republic Capital Group Mr. Wu was the Assistant to the Chairman & CEO of Preferred Bank from August 1997 to February 1998, and a senior loan officer of Sumitomo Trust and Banking Corporation from December 1995 to August 1997. Mr. Wu graduated from National Central University in Taiwan with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and received his Masters Degree in Mathematics from University of Southern California.
Chris A. Raanes has served as our Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer since September 2002. Between March 2002 and September 2002, Mr. Raanes was attending to personal matters. From December 1999 to March 2002, Mr. Raanes served as Vice President and General Manager of Digital Imaging for PerkinElmer Optoelectronics, a business unit of PerkinElmer, Inc. From December 1998 to December 1999, Mr. Raanes was the General Manager of Amorphous Silicon, a business unit of PerkinElmer, Inc. From July 1992 to December 1998, Mr. Raanes held a number of positions, including President and General Manager of EG&G Reticon, a subsidiary of a predecessor to PerkinElmer. Mr. Raanes holds a B.S. and an M.S., each in Electrical Engineering, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Derek Bertocci has served as chief financial officer for Accuray since January 2009.
Prior to joining Accuray, Bertocci served as chief financial officer and secretary for BioForm Medical Incorporated, a medical aesthetics company. Prior to this, Bertocci was chief financial officer of Laserscope, a provider of lasers and fiber optic devices for urology and aesthetic surgery. Earlier in his career, Bertocci held several positions, including chief financial officer, at VISX, a leading provider of systems used in laser vision correction surgery.
Bertocci earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification while working for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Bertocci earned a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.

Dr. Berndt Wowra received his degree from the University of Tuebingen in 1981 and completed his fellowship at the Brain Research Institute, University of Tuebingen. He has been trained in Neurosurgery, Sterotactic Neurosurgery and Radiosurgery and in 1990 he received his board of certification as a neurosurgeon.
From 1992- 2005, Dr. Wowra served as the medical director of the Gamma Knife Center Munich, and from 2003- 2004 he served as the medical director of the Gamma Knife Center Frankfurt.
Currently, Dr. Wowra is the co-director of the European CyberKnife® Center, Munich along with Alexander Muacevic, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Lee has received three degrees in Nuclear Engineering, including his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he worked to develop novel radiation sources for neutron capture therapy of glioblastomas. After post-doctoral work at Los Alamos National Laboratory and the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Maryland, he became the lead physicist for the new CyberKnife facility at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD. After more than three years and 650 patients at Sinai, he accepted a position at the San Diego CyberKnife Center as their lead CyberKnife physicist in 2006. Dr. Lee is certified in Therapeutic Radiology Physics by the American Board of Radiology and serves on the American Association of Physicists in Medicine's Task Group 135 (QA for Robotic Radiosurgery). He is a contributing author to the book Robotic Radiosurgery Vol. 2 in the area of abdominal radiosugery treatment planning, and he chairs the Accuray physics focus group for treatment planning and optimization.

Dr. Gibbs is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at the Stanford Cancer Center. Dr. Gibbs earned her MD from Stanford University. After completing her residency in Radiation Oncology at Stanford University, she joined the faculty at Stanford. She specializes in central nervous system tumors in adults and children. Dr. Gibbs is the Co-Director of the Cyberknife Radiosurgery Program at Stanford. She recently received the prestigious, Best Doctors of America Award for 2005-2006.

Elizabeth Davila was the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of VISX, Incorporated, a manufacturer of laser vision correction systems, which was acquired by Advanced Medical Optics in May 2005. Prior to becoming Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of VISX in 2001, she served as President and Chief Operating Officer of VISX from 1999 to 2001 and as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 1995 to 1999. Ms. Davila currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Advanced Medical Optics. Ms. Davila previously served on the Boards of Directors of Cholestech Corp. and VidaMed, Inc., medical device companies which were acquired in 2007 and 2002, respectively.

Lavigne is currently an independent consultant specializing in the areas of corporate finance, accounting and strategy. From 1983 to 2005, Lavigne served in the following positions with Genentech, Inc.: 1983-1986, Controller; 1986-1988, Vice President; 1988-1994, Chief Financial Officer; 1994-1997, Senior Vice President; 1997-2003, Executive Vice President; and 2003-2005, Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer. Lavigne also serves on the boards of directors of Allergan, Inc. and BMC Software, Inc.
Prof. Levendag completed medical training in the St. Elisabeth Hospital, Curaçao, Dutch West Indies and the Medical School in Utrecht; he graduated from Utrecht University, The Netherlands
Prof. Levendag's post-graduate medical training included the completion of an internship in general surgery at Canisius Hospital, Nijmegen, The Netherlands. His post-graduate medical specialty training included ENT surgery training at Sint Radboud University Hospital, Nijmegen, The Netherlands. After being board certified as an ENT Surgeon, he completed his medical education with advanced Radiation Oncology training at the Radboud University Hospital, the Groningen University Hospital, Groningen, The Netherlands and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York, USA. In 1981 he defended his thesis on “The Inner Ear and Hyperbaric Conditions”. In 1984/1985 he was awarded the Anna Hamann Scholarship in Radiation Oncology, allowing him to be trained in the MSKCC in New York.
Since January 1987, Prof. Levendag has been the chairman of the Radiation Oncology Department at the Daniel Den Hoed Cancer Centre, Rotterdam, and the chairman of the Radiation Oncology Department at Rotterdam-Dijkzigt University Hospital, Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Both institutions have merged since 1995 into the Erasmus Medical Center. Prof. Levendag utilizes advanced technologies including brachytherapy and the CyberKnife Robotic Radiosurgery System and is a respected expert in the treatment of Head and Neck cancer.
