Rick Belluzzo, chairman and chief executive officer of Quantum, joined the company in September 2002 and is responsible for its overall business strategy and direction. Since Belluzzo came to Quantum, the company has taken a number of steps to enhance its leadership in backup, recovery and archive, strengthen its underlying foundation and provide long-term value to customers and shareholders. These steps include making three acquisitions, launching a wide range of innovative new products, creating greater operational efficiencies, improving Quantum's balance sheet, and reducing costs. Before joining Quantum, Belluzzo was president and chief operating officer of Microsoft Corp. During his tenure at Microsoft, he also served as group vice president of the Personal Services and Devices Group and group vice president for the Consumer Group. Prior to Microsoft, Belluzzo was chief executive officer of Silicon Graphics Inc. Before his tenure at SGI, Belluzzo was executive vice president of the computer organization at Hewlett-Packard Co. In total, he was at HP for 23 years and held numerous positions in finance and marketing during that time. Belluzzo also serves on the board of PMC-Sierra and JDS Uniphase as well as the board of trustees for Golden Gate University.
Dr. Brown has nearly 30 years experience in the Defense Industry, initially as an Army officer and more recently as a senior analyst and manager at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and Hicks and Associates. During his Army career, Dr. Brown served as an infantry officer with operational assignments in the Berlin Brigade and the 82nd Airborne Division. He was also a faculty member of the Social Sciences Department at the United States Military Academy where he taught courses on international relations theory, international security issues and economics. Later in his military career, Dr. Brown served as a special or military assistant to senior decision makers in the Department of Defense, including the Supreme Allied Commander, Europe (SACEUR), the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Manpower and Reserve Affairs (ASA M&RA), the Army's Chief of Legislative Liaison and the Director of Net Assessment in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. When he came to SAIC, Dr. Brown worked on studies associated with the emerging security environment, the Revolution in Military Affairs information operations, in particular and Military Transformation. He also worked on several classified projects whose goal was understanding the economic dimensions of strategy. Currently, Dr. Brown is Director of the Strategic Assessment Center and a Senior Vice President of Hicks and Associates (a wholly-owned subsidiary of SAIC). The Strategic Assessment Center conducts studies and analyses of issues associated with strategy, policy and military transformation primarily for clients in the Office of Net Assessment in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Intelligence Community, the Experimentation Directorate of the Joint Forces Command, the Concept Development and Experimentation branch of Allied Command Transformation and the individual Services.

Jon Gacek joined Quantum as executive vice president and chief financial officer in August 2006, upon Quantum’s acquisition of Advanced Digital Information Corp. (ADIC). Previously, he served as the chief financial officer at ADIC from 1999 to 2006 and also led Operations during his last two years there. Prior to ADIC, Gacek was an audit partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and led the Technology Practice in the firm's Seattle office. While at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, he assisted several private equity investment firms with a number of mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and other transactions. Gacek serves on the board of directors for Loud Technologies, Inc. and HouseValues, Inc.

She has an extensive HR background that includes both public and private sector experience. Mr. Edward M. Esber Jr. has served as General Partner of the Halo Funds since December 2006, as Chairman and President of The Esber Group, a strategy consulting firm, since February 1991, and has been an angel investor in The Angels Forum since 1997. Mr. Esber also serves on the boards of directors of iTaggit, Inc. and Panterra Networks. Mr. Esber is a member of the Company’s Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee and the Audit Committee.
Ms. Elizabeth A. Fetter served as President and Chief Executive Officer and a director of Jacent Technologies, Inc., an order automation company for the restaurant industry from March 2007 to September 2007. Previously, from October 2001 to November 2004, she served as President and Chief Executive Officer, and a director, of QRS Corp., a retail supply chain software and services company. Prior to joining QRS from March 1999 to April 2001, Ms. Fetter was President, Chief Executive Officer, and a director, of NorthPoint Communications, a broadband services company and from January 1998 to March 1999 was Vice President and General Manager of the Consumer Services Group at US West (now Qwest), a telecommunications company. Before US West, she was an officer at SBC/Pacific Bell, where she held a number of senior leadership positions. Ms. Fetter also serves on the board of directors of Symmetricom, Inc. and several non-profit organizations. Ms. Fetter is the Chair of the Company’s Leadership and Compensation Committee.
John Partridge is the chief operating officer (COO) of Visa Inc. As COO, he has day-to-day responsibility for five areas of the company's continuing business operations, with the global heads of the product, information and systems technology, operations, corporate relations, and customer service departments reporting into him.
Prior to this role, Partridge was Inovant's first president and chief executive officer. Under Partridge's leadership, Inovant developed a reputation for customer service. He led major efforts to reorganize Inovant, diversify the organization's corporate footprint to include remote development centers, create new centers of excellence for emerging technologies and e-commerce, and examine alternative processing approaches for the global marketplace.
Before joining Visa, Partridge was the senior vice president of program management and chief information officer for UNUM Corporation, a disability insurance company in Portland, Maine. At UNUM, Partridge had enterprise-wide responsibility for managing technological capability.
Before joining UNUM, Partridge managed all systems, operations and consumer banking for Banco de Credito del Peru in Lima. His earlier career included 10 years with Wells Fargo Bank. Partridge has a B.S. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Mr. Thomas S. Buchsbaum has been an independent consultant since March 2005. From March 1997 to March 2005, Mr. Buchsbaum served as vice president of the U.S. Federal Business Segment, as well as Vice President and General Manager of the K12 and Higher Education customer segments of Dell, Inc. Before Dell, Mr. Buchsbaum spent ten years at Zenith Data Systems, a computer manufacturing company, until February 1997, where he was General Manager for the federal systems business unit and General Manager of the state and local government and education segments. From 1989 to 2004, Mr. Buchsbaum served on the board of directors and the compensation committee of Group 1 Software, Inc., an application software provider.
