Actel

Mr. Mubarak has been with Actel since 1992 and was Senior Vice President of Engineering prior to taking on responsibility for marketing as well in 2007. He has held a number of management and executive positions and has been responsible for all software and hardware engineering since 1999. Prior to joining Actel, Mubarak held various engineering, engineering management and product planning positions with Samsung Semiconductor Inc., Integrated Circuit Works, Inc. and Advanced Micro Devices. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a master's in business administration from Golden Gate University.

Mr. Legenhausen joined Actel in October 2007 as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. From 1990 until joining us, he held various management, sales, marketing and engineering positions with Cypress Semiconductor, a semiconductor manufacturer, with the most recent position of Vice President of Sales, Americas.

Prior to joining Actel in August 1998, Mr. Farinaro spent nine years at GateField (formerly Zycad Corporation). As Vice President, Application & Design Services, he handled business development and delivery of design services for FPGA and ASIC systems. Previously, Farinaro held management and engineering positions at Plessey Electronic Systems and Singer Kearfott. He has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, a master's degree in electrical engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology, and a master's degree in business administration from Seton Hall University.

Ms. McArthur joined Actel in July of 2000 and is responsible for managing all of the company's strategic staffing and human resources programs. Ms. McArthur has more than twenty years of human relations and management experience. Prior to joining Actel, she was vice president of human resources at Talus Solutions and has held senior human resource positions at Applied Materials, 3Com and Saga Corporation. She holds a bachelor's degree from Oregon State University in Corvallis.

Mr. Van De Hey joined Actel in 1993 as corporate Counsel, became Secretary in 1994, and has been Vice President & General Counsel since 1995. From 1988 to 1993, he was an associate with Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati, Professional Corporation, a law firm in Palo Alto, California, and the Company's outside legal counsel. From 1985 until 1988, he was an associate with the Cleveland office of Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue, a law firm.

Claude Achcar is the Founder and Managing Director of ACtel. Claude resides in Hong Kong and has been working and living in Asia since 1995. He began his career as a research associate with CRIM in Canada. During eleven years with Nortel Networks, Claude held an extensive range of responsibilities including engineering, product marketing, program management, business development and sales on Nortel's comprehensive service provider wireline and wireless portfolio as well as the products designed for enterprises. Most recently, Claude built up the Asian operations of Ciena, a leading intelligent optical networking vendor, from a greenfield start. He established and developed the Asia Pacific HQ in Hong Kong followed by regional offices in Seoul, Singapore, and Beijing while continuously expanding the Tokyo office. Claude built a self-sustaining organization achieving significant revenue growth in each year of operations. Claude is a telecom engineer by training and holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique and an MBA from McGill University.

J. Daniel McCranie serves as Virage Logic’s Executive Chairman where he is responsible for leading the company’s demand creation efforts, merger and acquisition activities, and strategic direction. He joined Virage Logic as Chairman of the Board in August 2003, became Executive Chairman in March 2006, and served in that role until taking over as president and CEO in January 2007. From January 2007 until October 2008, he served as president and CEO, and in October 2008, he again became Executive Chairman. McCranie also currently serves as Chairman of the Board for ON Semiconductor, a provider of power and data management semiconductors and standard semiconductor components. He also holds directorships at Actel, a supplier of innovative programmable logic solutions, and Cypress Semiconductor, a world leader in timing technology solutions. McCranie is a 30+ year veteran of the semiconductor and communications industries. Prior to joining Virage Logic, he served as vice president of sales and marketing of Cypress Semiconductor, a San Jose-based manufacturer of semiconductors for the communications industry. He retired from that position in 2001. From 1986 to 1993, McCranie was the chairman, president and CEO of SEEQ Technology, a supplier of mixed-signal data communications products. Leading up to his tenure at SEEQ, McCranie held positions of increasing responsibility in management, engineering, and sales and marketing at Harris Corporation, Advanced Micro Devices, American Microsystems and Philips Corporation. McCranie earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in Blacksburg, Virginia.
