Alan S. Elkin, Co-founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, began his career in the media industry at Kaiser Broadcast, which, under his direction as Senior Vice President of Sales, later became Field Communications and then Katz Media Group, the largest media representation firm in the United States. He served as President of the Corporate Barter Council for the International Reciprocal Trade Association, and has been on their board of directors for the past ten years. In 1999, Alan was inducted into the Barter Hall of Fame. He has been awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year Award by Ernst & Young, and last year received the Averell Harriman International Trade Award and the British American Business Inc. (BABi) Award in recognition of Active's global accomplishments. Alan has made community involvement a priority. Active Cares, a charitable he founded, has provided contributions to over 400 charities. In 2005, he received the Medal of Honor from Good Samaritan Hospital for this work.

Adrie Reinders began his entrepreneurial career in the I.T. field in 1975 when he founded Microlife B.V. Adrie sold the business once it was 500 employees large, with an annual revenue of 22.5 millon euro. Next he founded Rijnhaave, an I.T. firm specializing in systems integration. During the 1989-1991 period he negotiated and executed 6 successful acquisition transactions in the Netherlands and the United States leading to the rapid growth and development of the business. On selling the company in 1996 to British Telecom's Syntegra, he continued as a Syntegra Board member till 2001. Following the sale of Rijnhaave, Adrie founded another IT Business Plus Integration Supply Chain Solutions B.V. in 1997. Customers consisted of major pharmaceutical manufacturers based in the U.S. as well as many of the largest retailers in Europe. Throughout his professional career Adrie has served as an advisor and board member for numerous successful private and public companies including Residex Ventures, as Chairman. As one of the founders of OHM Inc., Adrie is fiercely committed to assisting technology companies achieve quicker and more effective sales results by offering his considerable expertise, experience and access to his global network of high level business contacts. Adrie is Chairman of the Board for Blue Blood (Fashion) and member of the board of Active International and Triton Distribution Systems. Furthermore, he is co-founder of the E.Factor (www.e-factor.biz) and Cranevision (www.cranevision.biz). Next to all other activities, Adrie has co-authored the book "The N Factor - how Networking can change the dynamics of your business", published in May 2007.
