Acuity Brands, Inc. ("Acuity Brands") is the parent company of Acuity Brands Lighting, Inc. and other subsidiaries (collectively referred to herein as "the Company"). Acuity Brands was incorporated in 2001 under the laws of the State of Delaware. The Company designs, produces, and distributes a broad array of indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures, lighting controls, and related products and services for commercial and institutional, industrial, infrastructure, and residential applications for various markets throughout North America and select international markets. The Company has one operating segment. The Company is one of the world's leading providers of lighting fixtures and lighting controls for new construction, renovation, and facility maintenance applications. Products include a full range of indoor and outdoor lighting for commercial and institutional, industrial, infrastructure, and residential applications. The Company manufactures or procures lighting products in the United States, Mexico, Europe, and China.
