Adept Technology Inc.

Rob Bucher has served as a director of Adept since September 3, 2008, resigning from his position as chief executive officer of Adept which he had been appointed in November 2003. Until January 2006, Mr. Bucher also served as chairman of the board of directors. Prior to joining Adept, Mr. Bucher was a consultant specializing in strategic counsel regarding management and financial investments to pre-IPO technology product and service organizations. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Bucher served as president and CEO of Norsat International Inc., a Canadian company that evolved under his leadership from a manufacturer and distributor of satellite components to a digital media infrastructure solution provider. Prior to Norsat, Mr. Bucher held several executive positions including executive vice president of worldwide operations at Measurex Corporation/Honeywell, an optimization, automation and solution system provider to the process industries. Mr. Bucher holds a number of patents in software, systems and control automation and has a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the University of Guelph, Canada.

Joachim Melis was appointed vice president, Europe in August 2004 and in June 2007 was promoted to vice president, worldwide sales. He joined Adept in October 1990 as an applications engineer in the company's German office and served as applications supervisor and then manager of European customer service from 1992 to 1998. In 1998 Mr. Melis became managing director of the RDA Services Division. He was appointed managing director for sales and service in Germany in 2000 and added responsibility for sales and service in France in 2002. Mr. Melis holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree in electronics.

John Dulchinos joined Adept in October 1987 as a regional sales engineer, and has held various roles within the organization, including director of OEM business, vice president of North American sales, vice president of worldwide sales, vice president of robotics, and vice president of global sales and marketing. In June 2007 he was promoted to president and chief operating officer. Mr. Dulchinos is an active member of the robotics industry, serving on the Assembly Technology Expo advisory board from 2003 to 2005 and on the board of directors of the Robotics Industry Association from 2003 to 2004. Mr. Dulchinos holds both bachelors and masters degrees in mechanical engineering with a concentration in robotics.

Dave Pap Rocki was appointed vice president, worldwide operations on September 3, 2008. Since July 2006 he held the position of chief technical officer. He joined Adept in February 2000 as director of Robotic systems and has also held the position of director of hardware. Previously Mr. Pap Rocki worked in the semiconductor industry from 1988 to 2000 at Novellus and SVG, managing systems and electrical engineering groups responsible for developing control platforms for front-end wafer production equipment. Prior to this, Mr. Pap Rocki was a founding member of Adept in 1983, leaving as the manager of systems in 1988. He has also worked at Unimation, a pioneer in the field of industrial robotics. At Unimation, SVG and Adept, Mr. Pap Rocki has been involved in the development of a number of successful robots including the PUMA, AdeptOne, i/sCobra and silicon wafer handling mechanisms. Mr. Pap Rocki holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering.

Michael P. Kelly has served as a director of Adept since April 1997 and as lead independent director of the board of directors since October 2003. Rob is an experienced chief executive officer of private and public companies and an accomplished technology investor. He was the CEO of CAMAX Systems (acquired by Electronic Data Systems, NYSE: EDS), Ultradata (acquired by John Harland, NYSE: JH), and Citadon. He is the managing partner and founder of Treehouse Capital, an investment firm that blends value and growth investment disciplines to make active investments in later-stage technology companies. Prior to Rob's experience as an investor, he was a merchant banker with Investment Advisors, Inc., where he worked with many of the Coral Team members, and an attorney with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.

Mr. Codd is Calypso's lead independent director. As the Board's financial expert, Mr. Codd chairs the Audit Committee. Mr. Codd previously served at PeopleSoft, Inc. as CFO, Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration, and Secretary. During his 7-year tenure at PeopleSoft, he marshaled PeopleSoft's successful Initial Public Offering in 1992 and the company grew its annual revenues from $15 million to $1.5 billion. More recently, Mr. Codd was President, CEO and Secretary at spin-out software firm Momentum Business Applications, Inc. which was later repurchased by PeopleSoft. Mr. Codd previously held management roles at MIPS Computer Systems, Inc., Wyse Technology and Tandem Computers, Inc. and currently serves as an independent business consultant. Mr. Codd also serves on the Board of Directors of Agile Software, Interwoven, Adept Technology, and two privately-held technology companies.
