Holger Heidrich, Ph.D, is corporate vice president and president of refractive vision correction for the Europe/Africa/Middle East region. Prior to joining AMO, Dr. Heidrich served as senior vice president and head of surgical business of Allergan in the Europe/Africa/Middle East region from May 1998 to January 2002. From July 1996 to January 2002, he also assumed the duties of head of Central Europe area and managing director of Allergan Germany/Austria. From 1990 to 1996, Dr. Heidrich was director of the contact lens care division of Allergan in Central Europe. From 1986 to 1989, he served as division director, pharmaceutical & surgical, at Pharm-Allergan GmbH, and Allergan subsidiary. He joined Allergan in 1985 as marketing & sales director for Germany. Prior to joining Allergan, Dr. Heidrich held sales and marketing positions at Montedison Pharmaceutical and Ciba Geigy, and was assistant professor of Economics at the University of Freiburg in Germany. Dr. Heidrich is a member of the board of directors of SIS, Surgical Instrument Systems, a Swiss company.

Francine Meza is corporate vice president, human resources and is responsible for managing AMO's worldwide human resources organization, including employment, compensation, benefits and organizational development. From 1984 through AMO's spin-off from Allergan in June 2002, Ms. Meza served in various human resources positions at Allergan and its acquired business, American Medical Optics. While at Brentwood, Bill invested in a number of early-stage companies, including eyeonics (private), Genyx (sold), IntraLase (public), Intra Therapeutics (sold), OraMetrix (private) and Refractec (private). His Versant investments include the following private companies: AcuFocus, Cameron Health, Confirma, ForSight, Glaukos, Inogen, NeoVista, Rox Medical, Second Sight and Wavetec. Before entering the healthcare industry, Bill was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Bill earned his Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. In February 2002, the Orange County Engineering Council named Bill "Engineer of the Year."

Christopher G. Chavez became a member of our board of directors in June 2002. He is president and chief executive officer of Advanced Neuromodulation Systems (ANS), a division of St. Jude Medical, Inc. Prior to joining ANS, Mr. Chavez was vice president of worldwide marketing and strategic planning for Eastman Kodak?s Health Imaging Division where the division?s five worldwide profit centers reported to him. From 1981 to 1997, Mr. Chavez was with Johnson & Johnson Medical, Inc., a major division of Johnson & Johnson. While with J&J, he progressed through several positions in finance, strategic planning, domestic and international marketing, new business development and general management. His most recent position was vice president and general manager of the Infection Prevention Business Unit, one of four worldwide business units with approximately one-half billion dollars in sales. Mr. Chavez currently serves on the board of the North Texas Visiting Nurse Association, the Medical Device Manufacturers Association (chairman) and the Dallas/Fort Worth Health Industry Council.

Senior Vice President – Chief Financial Officer
Daniel J. ""Dan"" Heinrich was appointed chief financial officer in 2003. Heinrich is the senior executive responsible for Clorox's financial activities, including Finance, Accounting, Reporting, Internal Controls, Treasury, Tax and Investor Relations. In addition, he oversees the company's Corporate Administrative Services, Corporate Real Estate, Business Development, Global Business Support Services and Information Services functions.
Prior to being named CFO, Heinrich served for two and a half years as the company's controller. In that position, he was the company's chief accounting officer with overall responsibility for Accounting, Financial Reporting, Customer Financial Services, Corporate Real Estate and Corporate Administrative Services.
Before joining Clorox, Heinrich was senior vice president – treasurer of Transamerica Finance Corporation in San Francisco. In addition to a background in treasury, he is a certified public accountant with more than 30 years of experience in financial management, including eight years at Ernst and Young and 10 years in the Ford Financial Services group. He also sits on the board of Carondelet High School in Concord, Calif.
A native of Gridley, Calif., Heinrich holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley and a master's degree in business administration from Saint Mary's College, Moraga, Calif.

Mr. Morfit has been a non-managing member of ValueAct Capital Management, L.P., one of Valeant’s largest investors, since January 2003 and was an associate with ValueAct Capital from January 2001 to December 2002. Prior to joining ValueAct Capital, Mr. Morfit worked in equity research for Credit Suisse First Boston from September 1999 to November 2000. Mr. Morfit currently serves as a director of MSD Ignition, a privately held auto parts company. Mr. Morfit received his Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University and is a CFA charterholder.
James O. Rollans, 58, is president and chief executive officer of Fluor Signature Services. He joined Fluor in 1982 as vice president, Corporate Communications and was named senior vice president and chief financial officer in 1992. Michael A. Mussallem, age 55, has been chairman and CEO since 2000. Prior to 2000, Mussallem held a variety of positions with increasing responsibility in engineering, product development and senior management at Baxter International Inc., including Group Vice President of its CardioVascular business from 1994 to 2000 and Group Vice President of the Biopharmaceutical business from 1998 to 2000. From 1996 until 1998, he was the Chairman of Baxter's Asia Board overseeing Baxter's operations throughout Asia. Mussallem received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and was conferred an honorary doctorate by his alma mater in 1999. Mussallem is chairman of the board of directors of the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), and serves as a member of the board for Advanced Medical Optics, Inc. He is also on the boards and executive committees of the California Healthcare Institute and OCTANe, and is a trustee of the University of California, Irvine Foundation. He received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering in 1974 and an honorary doctorate in 1999 from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana.
