Christopher G. Chavez became a member of our board of directors in June 2002. He is president and chief executive officer of Advanced Neuromodulation Systems (ANS), a division of St. Jude Medical, Inc. Prior to joining ANS, Mr. Chavez was vice president of worldwide marketing and strategic planning for Eastman Kodak?s Health Imaging Division where the division?s five worldwide profit centers reported to him. From 1981 to 1997, Mr. Chavez was with Johnson & Johnson Medical, Inc., a major division of Johnson & Johnson. While with J&J, he progressed through several positions in finance, strategic planning, domestic and international marketing, new business development and general management. His most recent position was vice president and general manager of the Infection Prevention Business Unit, one of four worldwide business units with approximately one-half billion dollars in sales. Mr. Chavez currently serves on the board of the North Texas Visiting Nurse Association, the Medical Device Manufacturers Association (chairman) and the Dallas/Fort Worth Health Industry Council.

Scott Drees, NPF Secretary, has been executive vice president of sales and marketing for Advanced Neuromodulation Systems, Inc. (ANS) since 1998. From April 1996 to March 1998, Mr. Drees was a corporate vice president and served as president of ANS. Mr. Drees has worked in the medical device business for 22 years. Prior to joining ANS, Mr. Drees held a variety of sales and marketing positions at St. Jude Medical, Boston Scientific and Johnson & Johnson.

Katinya is the Technical Analyst and Webmaster for Heart Changers International Ministries. She is currently a Software Engineering Analyst for Advanced Neuromodulation Systems in Plano, Texas. She is also a freelance designer specializing in desktop publishing, graphical user interface design, and website design. She has been doing desktop publishing for over 13 years, and design for six years. She honed her design skills while working as the City of Austin Web Producer. While in this position, she managed the entire City of Austin website. While working for the city, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin. Upon graduation, she and her family moved to the DFW area where she started a career with Sabre Airline Solutions as an Industrial Engineer. While she was an Industrial Engineer, she performed two International engineering analysis assignments determining the necessary improvements to current Sabre software applications, one resulting in an application improvement project totaling over $16 million. At this time, she has found a very meaningful assignment in working as Technical Analyst for the ministry. She manages distribution for the quarterly electronic newsletter and manages the website.
