Vicki Perry, President and CEO, has been involved in the health care industry for over 25 years. She was responsible for the start up of ADVANTAGE effective May, 2000. Since the organizations inception, she has led the health plan to NCQA accreditation as a New Health Plan, implemented a Staff on Loan Program committing to 2400 paid time off employee volunteer hours per year for charitable organizations, and was named runner up for the Indianapolis Business Journal, Health Care Heroes, Health Care Corporate Achievement Award. Prior to the start up of ADVANTAGE, Ms. Perry held various positions with Maxicare Health Plans, Inc. including Executive Vice President and General Manager, Executive Vice President of Operations, Regional Director of Program Evaluation and Director of Utilization Management and Quality Assurance. Additionally, she was an RN in the hospital setting. She has a strong background in all elements of health plan operations and has implemented quality assurance programs and expanded corporate services during her health care tenure. She believes in a hands on management approach and a non-layered organizational structure for maximum communication flow, executive customer focus and quality assurance for clients. Ms. Perry graduated from the Indiana University School of Nursing and is licensed as a Registered Nurse. She has since expanded her education to include Nursing Home Administration, Rehabilitative Nursing, and Administrative Nursing at IUPUI along with completion of Duke University FUQUA School of Administration, Executive Management Course.

Jan Teal, Chief Operating Officer, has represented managed health care organizations for over 20 years. For ADVANTAGE, she is oversights member service operations including enrollment, claims support, business risk, appeals and provider relations. As Corporate Compliance Officer, she is responsible for the ongoing development, implementation and evaluation of the Compliance Program and supporting internal and external policies and procedures to ensure performance and activities are in compliance with client contracts, and state and federal regulations. She also develops and facilitates the detection and reporting of potential fraud and abuse and HIPAA violations. Prior to ADVANTAGE, Ms. Teal was the Director of Administrative Services and Compliance Officer for Maxicare Indiana where she held similar responsibilities.

David Meguschar, Vice President of Business Strategy and Development, has relevant and extensive market experience, including 12 years in management and executive level leadership responsibilities at One America (formerly AUL) and was the Executive Director at Guardian Life Insurance Company responsible for the leadership of over 400 regional groups sales offices. Dave also has a demonstrated track record of performance, planning/execution, and bottom-line results and is the Executive responsible for Commercial and Medicare sales, marketing and strategic business development that drives our Company's growth, profitability and market awareness, while facilitating our ability to quickly adapt and mobilize appropriate actions, resources and solutions as they relate to market dynamics and opportunities. Dave holds a BA degree from DePauw University.

Our Medical Director, Anthony N. Akosa MD, MBA. Anthony has been a practicing family physician for over 10 years at the IU Medical Center. He received his MBA from the Kelly School of Business in 2002 and has been a member of the ADVANTAGE team since 2003. Anthony is a member of the American College of Physician Executives and provides our department with valuable insights in disease and case management.
