John McLendon is senior vice president and chief information officer of Adventist Health System. He has an extensive background in healthcare leadership that includes serving as vice president and CIO of Bayfront Health System, system director for planning and project management at Banner Health System and vice president/CIO for EDIX. McLendon received his master's degree in business administration from the University of Houston and his bachelor's degree in computer information systems from Jacksonville University. He is an active member in a number of organizations including College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), and Healthcare information Management and Systems Society (HIMSS).

Loran Hauck, MD, is senior vice president of clinical effectiveness and chief medical officer for Adventist Health System. He is responsible for providing physician leadership, oversight and direction for multiple Adventist Health System Corporate Clinical Initiatives. Hauck previously served as president and chief executive officer of Sunbelt Medical Management and medical director of Gordon Hospital. From 1989-1995, Hauck was medical director for Loma Linda Faculty Medical Group, Inc. Hauck received his pre-medical education from Walla Walla College and Atlantic Union College. He graduated with honors from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Philip Smith, MD, is vice president and chief medical information officer for Adventist Health System and AHS Information Services. He is responsible for medical leadership and physician adoption of clinical information systems (CIS). Dr Smith has worked with CIS since 1992 when he automated his medical practice. Prior to joining AHS in 2003, he served as a physician consultant with Cerner Corporation planning and implementing large scale clinical information systems and computerized physician/provider order entry (CPOE). Smith received his undergraduate degree from Case Western Reserve University. He received his medical and masters degrees from Wright State University, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and board certified in Family Medicine.

Lewis Seifert is senior vice president of finance for Adventist Health System and senior finance officer for Florida Hospital. In this role, he provides administrative oversight to the hospital CFOs and chairs the finance boards of the ten hospitals in the division located outside the metropolitan Orlando market. In addition to providing financial leadership to Florida Hospital Healthcare System, and the Medicare reimbursement function at Florida Hospital, Seifert also provides leadership to the Revenue Cycle Departments at Adventist Health System, including Patient Financial Services, Case Management, Health Information Management and Charge Description Master Support. Seifert had an extensive history of financial leadership in healthcare in Central Florida before joining Florida Hospital in 2000, including experience as the chief financial officer for Winter Park Memorial Hospital and the Central Florida Division of HCA.

Paul C. Rathbun is senior vice president/senior finance officer for Adventist Health System. He is responsible for Corporate Reimbursement, Internal Audit, and various other corporate finance functions. He also provides leadership in the coordination of the external audit, financial reporting, and chairing the finance committees of three of the company's regional hospitals and the long term care division. Previously, Rathbun has served as chief financial officer for two national long-term care companies, Skilled Healthcare Group and Life Care Centers of America, Inc., and two HCA hospitals in the state of Florida. Prior to his service in the healthcare industry, Rathbun was a director in the healthcare audit practice of Price Waterhouse in Florida. Rathbun has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Southern Adventist University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Benjamin Reaves, D.Min., serves as vice president of mission and ministries for Adventist Health System, and is responsible for helping enhance the mission priority and performance of the corporation. Reaves previously served as general field secretary for the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Prior to that, he served as president of Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama for 11 years. He also formerly served as chairman of the Department of Religion and Theology at Oakwood College, professor of preaching and urban ministry at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, campus pastor for college youth at Andrews University and pastored for 11 years in the Lake Region Conference. Reaves is an ordained minister in the Seventh-day Adventist Church and holds a doctorate of ministry in church and society from Chicago Theological Seminary, a master's degree in church history and a master of divinity in practical theology from Andrews University, and a bachelor of arts in theology from Oakwood College. He has served as Chairman of the Members of the United Negro College Fund, and vice-chair of the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education. Since 1989 he has been a featured speaker on the Chicago Sunday Evening Club Television program.

Celeste West is vice president of supply chain for Adventist Health System. She provides leadership and strategic direction for the supply chain functions throughout the system. Previously, West served as an inside consultant for materials management travelling throughout the system assisting hospitals with their supply cost challenges, evaluating and establishing improvement plans for operational efficiency, covering vacant materials director positions, providing education, and implementing MMIS systems. West received her Bachelor of Science degree from Kennesaw State University and is a certified CMRP through the American Hospital Association.

David Huffman is vice president of finance for Adventist Health System. He is responsible for the Corporate Reimbursement, Internal Audit, Accounts Receivable Securitization and Uniform Account Reconciliation Departments. In addition, he is responsible for the coordination of the annual external audit financial reporting as well as accounting issues relating to new transactions and new accounting pronouncements. Before joining AHS Corporate, he spent over 14 years with KPMG, where he specialized in healthcare accounting and auditing. Huffman received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an accounting emphasis from Union College, Lincoln, Nebraska in 1988. He is a certified public accountant.

Dr. Doug Bechard is vice president for Adventist Health System's Office of Clinical Effectiveness. He is responsible for CPOE content development, the Corporate Technology Assessment Committee, Corporate infection control initiatives, and Corporate medical staff office coordination. He has previously held many senior clinical leadership roles including senior vice president of clinical effectiveness for Meridian Health, vice president of clinical effectiveness for Jersey Shore University Medical Center, chief medical officer for the Mountain States Health Alliance, president/CEO for the Galen Medical Group, and an associate professor of medicine for the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. Dr. Bechard earned his M.D. from Loma Linda University and Bachelor's in Chemistry from Atlantic Union College where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the American College of Physician Executives.

Lynn Addiscott serves as vice president for tax services and senior tax officer for Adventist Health System. In this capacity, she is responsible for all tax-related issues including tax compliance functions, tax reviews of contracts, and all tax research. Previously, Addiscott served as tax director for Price Waterhouse's Southeast Region, where she was responsible for the delivery of tax planning, research and tax compliance services to healthcare clients throughout the state of Florida. Addiscott holds bachelor's degrees in accounting and education, as well as her master's degree in education from the University of Florida. She is also a certified public accountant.

Richard Morrison is the vice president of government affairs for Adventist Health System and the regional vice president of the Florida Division for government and regulatory affairs. He is responsible for developing and coordinating public and regulatory policy at the local, state and federal level. Morrison has over 30 years of health care experience in a wide variety of areas including strategic planning, marketing, mergers and acquisitions, managed care, compliance as well as government and regulation. He has been appointed to various state wide advisory committees by the Governor of Florida, chairs the Family Practice Teaching Hospital Council and currently chairs numerous boards in the local community ranging from early learning to emergency medicine. Morrison graduated from Florida State University, Phi Beta Kappa, and did his graduate work in clinical psychology.

Womack Rucker, Jr., has served as vice president of Adventist Health System since 1990. He previously served as vice president of health services for Meharry Medical College and chief executive officer of Meharry Hubbard Hospital, both in Nashville, Tennessee. His administrative career began at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, Ohio, where he served as assistant director of personnel and administrative assistant to the president. He later served as vice president of Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, Maryland and president of Riverside Adventist Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. Rucker received his master's degree in hospital and health administration from Xavier University and completed an administrative residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He also completed the Crummer School of Business Management Program at Rollins College. Rucker is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is an international consultant and conducts seminars both nationally and internationally on guest relations topics with emphasis on customer loyalty.

Jeff is directly responsible for all financial matters related to Sloans Lake Managed Care and has a long history of finance related to the health care industry. Jeff has administered financial systems and strategies at Porter Memorial Hospital, Centura Health, Columbia/HCA, and served as an owner of PhyLink Group, LLC. Jeff graduated from Union College with a B.S. Business Administration in 1982. Since then, Jeff has been an Internal Auditor/Microcomputer specialist at Adventist Health System/NEMA, Director of Internal Auditing at Adventist Health System/North, Administrative Director of Managed Care and Chief Financial Officer at Porter and Littleton Hospitals, Vice-President of Finance at Centura Health, Vice-President of Managed Care at Columbia/HCA, and partner at PhyLink Group. Jeff's 19 years in the healthcare industry has afforded him the advantage to successfully implement collective negotiations for five Colorado facilities, refinance ten separate bond issues into one Master Trust Indenture worth 190,000,000, and attained profitability in his first year at Littleton Hospital by increasing profitability of two facility systems.
