Joyce M. Roché is president and chief executive officer of Girls Incorporated (a national nonprofit research, education, and advocacy organization in New York, New York) and has served in this capacity since September 2000. Ms. Roché was an independent marketing consultant from 1998 to 2000. She was president and chief operating officer of Carson, Inc. from 1996 to 1998 and executive vice president of global marketing of Carson, Inc. from 1995 to 1996. Ambassador Jones' practice focuses on international trade, investment and commerce, business-government relations and financial services. He also has worked extensively with global distribution and marketing organizations targeting Latin America, Asia and the Middle East. Ambassador Jones currently provides business development advice and consulting for clients primarily in Mexico and Latin America. For example, he provides strategic advice to a multinational automobile manufacturer based in Asia and assisted it in entering the Mexico market. He works with major energy firms in Mexico, Venezuela, Ecuador and Lithuania. He counseled a U.S. insurance company in its purchase of a privatized Mexican insurance company as well as a U.S.-Mexico joint venture to build a water-treatment project in Mexico. He is assisting a U.S.-based resort developer in establishing projects in Mexico and Latin America, and assisting a Class I U.S. railroad with investments in Mexico and Panama. Additionally, Ambassador Jones counsels clients on both business and government strategies in the United States. Prior to joining Manatt, Ambassador Jones served as U.S. Ambassador to Mexico from 1993 to 1997, demonstrating leadership during the Mexican peso crisis and the passage and implementation of NAFTA, developing new, cooperative efforts to combat drug trafficking, and assisting U.S. businesses with commercial ventures. Ambassador Jones' previous experience includes the position of President at Warnaco International and Chairman and CEO of the American Stock Exchange in New York from 1989 to 1993. During his tenure at AMEX, listings, revenues and market share increased. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Oklahoma (1973-1987), he was Chairman of the House Budget Committee and ranking member of the House Ways and Means Committee, where he was active in tax, international trade, Social Security and healthcare policy. Ambassador Jones was only 28 years old when President Lyndon Johnson selected him as Appointments Secretary, the position presently titled Chief of Staff. Jim serves on the boards of the West Virginia and Martinsburg/Berkeley County Chambers of Commerce, Berkeley Community Pride, and the West Virginia Beer Wholesalers Association. Mr. Dillard serves as President of Cobra Oil & Gas Corporation ("Cobra") and is a 50% owner of each company. Mr. Dillard has been with Cobra since his graduation from the University of Texas in 1981. August A. Busch III was chairman of the board of Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. (a brewing, packaging, and family entertainment holding company in St. Louis, Missouri) from 1977 until his retirement in December 2006. Mr. Busch also served as chief executive officer of Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. from 1975 until June 2002. Mr. Busch has been a director of AT&T since October 1983. He served as a director of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company from 1980 to 1983. He is the chairman of the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee and a member of the Corporate Development Committee and the Executive Committee. Mr. Payne is a Managing Director of Broadpoint.Gleacher and former Vice Chairman of Gleacher Partners. Prior to joining Gleacher Partners he served as Vice Chairman of Bank of America and WebMD. Mr. Payne was responsible for leading the Olympic bid effort for Atlanta as President of the Committee responsible for winning the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games and was the first person in modern Olympic history to continue uninterrupted as President of the Organizing Committee for the Games themselves. Mr. Payne serves on the boards of Lincoln Financial Group and Cousins Properties as well as numerous nonprofit community foundations and organizations. He holds an undergraduate and a law degree from the University of Georgia.
