Michael J. Pratt became President — Best Buy Canada in January 2008. Prior to his assuming that position, Mr. Pratt was a Senior Vice President — Best Buy Canada. Prior to that, he had held numerous roles in his 17 years with Future Shop and Best Buy Canada, most recently responsible for Best Buy Canada stores, marketing, advertising and store design and our Commercial Sales Group in Canada.

Michael Ritter has been a General Manager for BestBuy.com, the online store division of Best Buy, Inc. since September of 2004. In addition to serving on the Power of Love board, he is also a member of a variety of technology infrastructure steering committees. Prior to joining Best Buy, Ritter served as Vice President of Marketing and Product Development of Vizio, Inc., an innovative HDTV consumer electronics manufacturer. Before joining Vizio in May of 2003, Ritter spent ten years at Gateway, Inc. where he held a number of management positions. At the time of his departure, he was Vice President of Product Marketing, leading the development and implementation of product, promotional, and pricing strategies for Gateway's Consumer and Small Business divisions. Ritter earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Economics from South Dakota State University and remains an active supporter of the school.

Mr. Hall brings 30 years experience consulting with global 1000 and market leading multi-national companies in the consumer product goods, retail and food & beverage segments. Mr. Hall is the Platform Development Practice Leader and manages execution excellence in growth strategy development for the firm. His experience has been in developing significant growth platforms outside the core business, new channel growth strategy, consumer segmentation, retail experience consulting and global brand strategy development. Mr. Hall's background and executive experience brings objectivity to implementing market strategy. Prior to joining The Valen Group, Mr. Hall was a Senior Manager in Cap Gemini Ernst & Young's Global Business Unit of the Consumer Products, Retail and Distribution practice in Chicago. Mr. Hall is a seasoned executive, having held positions as President for Apriori Consulting Advertising, consulting with advertising agencies and clients searching for new ad agencies; as Senior Vice President New Business Development for J. Walter Thompson working with Miller, Oscar Mayer and Kraft; and as Vice President for Leo Burnett Advertising. He has experience consulting for companies such as Kelloggs, Best Buy, Ahold, General Mills, PepsiCo/Tropicana and Kraft. He holds a BA and an MBA from the University of Illinois, Urbana.

Chad's history is interesting in that he is actually a former Mobile Dynamics Graduate. It's not unusual that graduates end up back at the school as instructors. His background also includes 7 years as an installer at a retail store and over 2 years with MITEK (MTX, Coustic, Xtant ). Mr Marra continues to elevate his level of expertise by working part time as an installer at Best Buy. This allows Chad to stay in tune with the latest trends and vehicles. Chad brings with him real world installation experience and that of working for a manufacturer. Chad joined Mobile Dynamics in 2005 and today shares his broad knowledge with our students in the classroom.

Kerry R. Hicks , age 49, one of our founders, has served as our Chief Executive Officer and has been a director since our inception in 1995. He also served as our President from our inception until November 1999 and currently serves as our President since June 2001.

Laura Heller is Senior Editor of Retailing Today, the authoritative retail business news magazine. Ms. Heller has been reporting on retail trends and initiatives since 1997, when she joined the 40-year-old retail publication in its downtown Chicago office. She covers the nation's leading mass market retailers including Wal-Mart, Target and Sears and follows the nation's largest consumer electronics chains including Best Buy, Circuit City and Radio Shack. She has spent the better part of a decade analyzing industry and consumer trends in electronics, photography and home entertainment and watched with growing interest as both retailers and manufacturers target new demographics for their products. Ms. Heller is also a contributing editor to other Lebhar-Friedman publications including Chain Store Age, Drug Store News and Home Channel News and has worked as a consultant to eBrain Market Research and the Consumer Electronics Association on topics related to Women and Technology. She holds a BA degree in Journalism from the University of Iowa.

Matthew Tennenbaum is COO and also directs the firms General Liability and Property Third Party Administration division. Mr. Tennenbaum has over 14 years of Regional and National Account Management and Property/Casualty claims handling experience with manufacturing, distribution, hospitality, real estate management and retail clients including the Navy and large corporations such as EMI, Wal Mart, Kmart, Circuit City and Best Buy. He previously founded the TPA firm Trafalgar Professional Administrators to service the claims handling needs for several Lloyds Syndicates and has led million dollar corporate wide IT project implementations for Business Intelligence, Claims and Litigation Management systems. Mr. Tennenbaum holds multi-state Adjuster licenses and is an accredited Producer. A graduate of West Virginia University, Mr. Tennenbaum earned his BSBA and is working towards an AIC designation.

Since co-founding InSite Realty, Inc. in 1994, Mike has worked with a variety of clients, both corporate and institutional. Today, InSite's Leasing and Management division is responsible for a portfolio of over 6 million square feet of industrial and office properties. He has worked with owners such as Essex Capital, EastGroup Properties, Texas Instruments Incorporated, MONY Real Estate Services, Prudential Real Estate Services and Prologis. His work with end-users includes Compaq Computer Corporation, Exxon Corporation, McCoy, Inc., Continental Can Company, U.S. JVC Corporation, Best Buy Company and Graham Packaging Corporation.

Sam has 20 years of Human Resource experience including his tenure for companies such as General Motor and Best Buy, in addition to running his own Human Resource consulting firm. He is a long time member of the Society for Human Resources Management.

William Van Den Acre is Vice President of US Operations for Dollar Financial Group. He started in 1995 and has held most positions in the organization. Bill has had oversight for all US operations since 2002. Prior experience includes 20 years with Southland Corp, BJ's Wholesale Club and Best Buy. Time spent in operations, franchising and training.

Richard M. Schulze, 67, is a founder of Best Buy. He has been an officer and director from our inception in 1966 and currently is Chairman of the Board. Effective in June 2002, he relinquished the duties of Chief Executive Officer. He had been our principal executive officer for more than 30 years. He is on the board of the University of St. Thomas, chairman of its Executive and Institutional Advancement Committee, and a member of its Board Affairs Committee. Mr. Schulze is also chairman of the board of the University of St. Thomas Business School.

Mike Mikan was elected executive vice president and chief financial officer, UnitedHealth Group, in November 2006. He was most recently senior vice president, Finance, for the company. Mikan previously served as chief financial officer for UnitedHealthcare and chief financial officer for Specialized Care Services (now OptumHealth). Prior to these positions, Mikan was an executive in the company’s Corporate Development group, which is responsible for merger and acquisition activities.

Kathy J. Higgins Victor, 50, has been a director since November 1999. Since 1994, she has been president of Centera Corporation, an executive development and leadership coaching firm she founded which is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. From 1991 to 1994, she was the senior vice president of human resources at Northwest Airlines, Inc., and prior to that held senior executive positions at The Pillsbury Company and Burger King Corporation. She is on the board of the University of St. Thomas.

Matthew H. Paull, 55, has been a director since September 2003. He is the former corporate senior executive vice president and chief financial officer for McDonald’s Corporation, which develops, operates, franchises and services a worldwide system of McDonald's restaurants. Prior to joining McDonald’s Corporation in1993, he was a partner at Ernst & Young LLP, specializing in international tax.

Rogelio M. Rebolledo, 62, has been a director since August 2006. He is the former chairman of PBG Mexico, the Mexican operations of Pepsi Bottling Group, Inc. He began his 30-year career with PepsiCo Inc. at Sabritas, the salty snack food unit of Frito-Lay International in Mexico. He was responsible for the development of the international Frito-Lay business, first in Latin America and then in Asia. From 2001 to 2003, he was president and chief executive officer of Frito-Lay International. He served as president and chief executive officer of Pepsi Bottling Group’s Mexico operations from January 2004 until July 2006.

Ronald James, 56, has been a director since May 2004. Since 2000, he has served as president and chief executive officer of the Center for Ethical Business Cultures in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which assists business leaders in building ethical and profitable business cultures at the enterprise, community and global levels. From 1996 to 1998, he was president and chief executive officer of the Human Resources Group, a division of Ceridian Corporation in Minneapolis. From 1971 to 1996, he was employed by U.S. West Communications, Inc. (now Qwest), most recently serving as Minnesota’s top executive officer. He serves on the boards of Tamarack Funds, an investment fund of RBC Dain Rauscher, Inc.; Bremer Financial Corporation; and Allina Hospitals and Clinics. Finally, Mr. James serves on the boards of the Greater Twin Cities United Way, the Travelers Foundation and the Guthrie Theater.

"Sanjay Khosla joined Kraft in 2007 as Executive Vice President and President, Kraft International. In this role, Khosla is leading Kraft's business outside of North America. Most recently, Sanjay was with Fonterra Co-operative Group, a multinational dairy company based in New Zealand. At Fonterra, he served as Managing Director of the company's consumer and foodservice business. During that time, he helped turn around the consumer business. Before joining Fonterra in 2004, Sanjay spent 27 years with Unilever in India, London and Europe. He most recently served as Senior Vice President, Global Beverages and Chairman of Unilever's $4 billion beverages category. The business saw accelerated growth worldwide as a result of the ""Paint the World Yellow with Lipton"" business program. Sanjay graduated with honors in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. In 1998, he completed the Harvard University Advanced Management Program. That same year, he was named ""Marketing Superstar"" by the prominent marketing industry publication, Advertising Age. Sanjay serves on the Board of Directors of NIIT, a global information technology education company based in India. He is a member of the University of Auckland Business School Advisory Board. He has taught courses on managing international brands and business at Columbia University in New York, and at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. "
