Gregory M. Spierkel Chief Executive Officer As the chief executive officer of Ingram Micro Inc., the world’s leading technology distributor, Gregory M.E. Spierkel heads a dynamic organization employing 15,000 associates in 34 countries. He became CEO on June 1, 2005. Prior to his promotion to CEO, Spierkel served as corporate president, Ingram Micro Inc., from March 2004 to April 2005. He was responsible for Ingram Micro’s overall operating performance with particular focus on the company’s Europe and Asia-Pacific regions. During that time, he led the company’s acquisition of Tech Pacific, which was the largest acquisition in company history, and significantly strengthened Ingram Micro’s presence in Asia-Pacific. During his tenure with the company, Spierkel has also held the positions of executive vice president of Ingram Micro Inc. and president, Ingram Micro Europe, where he led the transformation of the region into a best-in-class performer, delivering sales and operating margins at historic highs. Under his leadership, Europe consolidated operations in the Nordic countries, integrated a major acquisition in Germany, and instituted processes that are having a lasting, positive impact on the region. Spierkel joined Ingram Micro in August 1997 as president, Ingram Micro Asia-Pacific, and was instrumental in setting up the company in Asia with the acquisition of Electronic Resources Limited, Singapore. With more than 29 years of broad-based experience in global operations management, Spierkel has managed other complex and large-scale operations throughout the world. Prior to joining Ingram Micro, Spierkel spent 11 years at Canada-based Mitel Corp., a multinational manufacturer of leading PBX, software and semiconductor products. He held a variety of executive management positions there, including senior vice president of global sales and marketing. He was president of Mitel Inc. in Reston, Va. for four years, managing director of Mitel Telecom in the United Kingdom with responsibilities over Europe and Asia, and general manager of Mitel Far East Ltd. in Hong Kong, where he orchestrated the integration of an acquired subsidiary. Spierkel holds a master’s degree in business administration from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. Alain Maquet Senior Vice President and President, Ingram Micro Latin America Alain Maquet is senior vice president, Ingram Micro Inc. and president, Ingram Micro Latin America. A 23-year veteran of the information technology industry, Maquet is responsible for driving the region’s strategy and performance with full operations in Mexico, Brazil, Chile and an export division that serves Central and South America and the Caribbean. Maquet joined Ingram Micro in 1993 as managing director of France and, a year later, was appointed to vice president of Ingram Micro’s southern European operations. In early 2000, Maquet added additional countries to his responsibilities when he was promoted to senior vice president Ingram Micro France, Benelux and Export. Alain Monie President and Chief Operating Officer Alain Monié serves as president and chief operating officer of Ingram Micro Inc. Lynn Jolliffe Senior Vice President, Human Resources Lynn Jolliffe is the senior vice president of human resources for Ingram Micro Inc. Dale R. Laurance Dr. Laurance is the owner of Laurance Enterprises LLC, a private advisory services company. He is also the owner of Nightingale Properties, LLC, a Hawaiian real estate development company. Howard I. He also spent 17 years at Chase Manhattan Bank, where he rose to Corporate Treasurer. He spent four years in Europe with responsibility for Chase’s foreign exchange and capital markets business. He is a member of the American Banker CFO Advisory Board, the Financial Executives Institute, and the Conference Board.
