While a student at Harvard, Ken Griffin developed his first convertible bond arbitrage model and traded from his dorm room. In 1990, one year after graduation, Mr. Griffin launched Citadel as a single strategy fund. Today, Citadel and its affiliates deploy capital across multiple investment strategies.
