AECI Treasurer Charles C. Baile has served on West Central Electric Cooperative's board of directors since 1978, including terms as vice president and president. Since 1990, he has served on the board of NW Electric Power Cooperative, serving as vice president. He joined AECI's board in 1997. A retired businessman and entrepreneur, Baile has owned service, real estate and farming businesses that have contributed to the development of the Warrensburg community.

Associated director Harold E. Jordan has served in cooperative governance since joining the board of Black River Electric Cooperative in Fredericktown, Mo., in 1976. He was elected to the board of M&A Electric Power Cooperative in 1977, and he joined AECI's board of directors in 1998 and serves as vice president. A retired businessman who has owned and operated retail, construction and farming businesses, Jordan's association with cooperatives goes back to 1947. Working for a contractor, Jordan helped build 1,900 miles of line for Black River Electric Cooperative in four southeast Missouri counties, sometimes stringing three miles of line to bring electricity for the first time to one customer who had joined the cooperative and paid the $5 membership fee.

Mr. Fulks graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1971. He began his career with San Diego Gas and Electric Company working in Distribution Engineering and Substation Design. From 1974 until April of 2007, Mr. Fulks was employed by Associated Electric Cooperative, Inc. in various capacities in the Planning Department where he was Manager of Planning and Engineering from 1980-1996. In 1996 Mr. Fulks was then appointed to the position of Director, Engineering & Operations. Mr. Fulks has served on the NRE Transmission Task Force, Southwest Power Pool Engineering & Operations Committee, Executive Committee of the Southeastern Electric Reliability Council Engineering Committee and the North American Electric Reliability Council Reliability Criteria Subcommittee. He has completed the Executive Leadership program at the Smeal School of Business at Penn State University. In 2002, Mr. Fulks received Associated's highest award as recipient of the Excel Distinguished Service Award and was elected into the Academy of Electrical and Computer Engineers at the University of Missouri-Rolla. In April of 2007, Mr. Fulks was selected by the Sho-Me Power Board of Directors as Sho-Me's new General Manager, and now serves on the Board of Directors of Associated Electric Cooperative, Inc.

Mike King joined AECI in August 1980 as an internal auditor and was selected in May 1983 as manager of the internal audit department. He holds an undergraduate degree in business administration and economics from Drury University and a master's in accountancy from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Michael Miller joined AECI in 1998 and served as the cooperative's chief financial officer eight years before becoming special assistant to the CEO and general manager. In this position, Miller continues to work on site development for a proposed coal plant and other special projects as directed by the CEO and general manager and chief financial officer. Prior to joining Associated, Miller was vice president, finance, for Silver Dollar City Inc., where he was responsible for capital funding, accounting and treasury. Miller has a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Missouri, a master's degree in business administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and is a Certified Public Accountant in Missouri.

Pat Baumhoer joined AECI in January 2000. Previously, he was a partner for the law firm of Andereck, Evans, Milne, Peace and Baumhoer for 20 years and worked on many cooperative issues. Baumhoer has a bachelor's degree in economics from Cornell University and a juris doctor's degree from the University of Missouri.
