James A. Joyce founded Aethlon Medical in May 1998, and presently serves as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. During Mr. Joyce's tenure, Aethlon has evolved the concept of a medical device to treat infectious disease into a reality of treating infected patients in a clinical trial environment. The resulting Hemopurifier technology is positioned to treat global pandemic issues such as HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis-C, H5N1 Avian Flu, and pathogens most likely to be weaponized for use in bioterrorism. Mr. Joyce has been an active participant in the emerging biodefense industry. He has testified before Congress on issues related to Project BioShield legislation and the deployment of the Hemopurifier as a countermeasure against biological weapons. His efforts have been instrumental in expanding the definition of treatment countermeasure in Project BioShield legislation to include medical devices. Mr. Joyce recently served on the Project BioShield panel at the Federal Biodefense Research Conference, the Biodefense panel at the 2006 Homeland and Global Security Summit, and was named Co-Chairman of the Bioterrorism/Chemical and Nuclear Security Task Force of the Homeland Security Industries Association. Mr. Joyce actively discusses issues related to infectious disease at various conferences, and has been interviewed in related news stories on CNN, NBC, ABC, the BBC, and other media outlets. From February 1993 until founding Aethlon Medical, Mr. Joyce owned James Joyce & Associates, a senior management advisory organization. Previously, he was founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mission Labs, Inc., was a principal at London Zurich Securities, Inc., and was a member of the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. Mr. Joyce is a graduate of the University of Maryland.

Dr. Tullis has been Vice President and a director of the Company since January 2000 and Chief Science Officer since June 2001. Dr. Tullis has extensive biotechnology management and research experience, and is the founder of Syngen Research, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aethlon Medical, Inc. Previously, Dr. Tullis co-founded Molecular Biosystems, Inc., a former NYSE company. At Molecular Biosystems, Dr. Tullis was Director of Oligonucleotide Hybridization, Senior Research Scientist and Member of the Board of Directors. In research, Dr. Tullis developed and patented the first application of oligonucleotides to antisense antibiotics and developed new methods for the chemical synthesis of DNA via methoxy-hosphorochloridites. Dr. Tullis also co-developed the first applications of covalently coupled DNA-enzyme conjugates using synthetic oligonucleotides during his tenure at Molecular Biosystems. In 1985, Dr. Tullis founded, and served as President and CEO of Synthetic Genetics, Inc., a pioneer in custom DNA synthesis, which was sold to Molecular Biology Resources in 1991. Dr. Tullis also served as interim-CEO of Genetic Vectors, Inc., which completed its IPO under his management, and was co-founder of DNA Sciences, Inc., a company that was eventually acquired by Genetic Vectors. Dr. Tullis received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California at San Diego, and has done extensive post-doctoral work at UCSD, USC, and the University of Hawaii.
James B. Frakes has 25 years of experience in finance. He spent 15 years as the CFO of three emerging growth publicly held companies. Most recently, Mr. Frakes was the CFO of NTN Buzztime Inc., an interactive game company. Prior to his CFO experiences, Mr. Frakes was a manager at an investment banking firm specializing in later stage venture capital and leveraged buyout transactions. Mr. Frakes holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University.
Mr. Richardson has nearly 20 years of senior leadership in global public relations for research-based medical companies. Prior to joining Aethlon, Mr. Richardson was Director, Global Public Relations for Amgen, the world's largest biotechnology company. Previously, he held senior communications positions with both Glaxo and DuPont. Mr. Richardson is responsible for establishing government and military communication initiatives and manages medical industry and investor relations programs.

Franklyn S. Barry, Jr., is the former President and CEO of Aethlon Medical, Inc. and Hemex, Inc. He has over 25 years of experience in managing and building companies. Mr. Barry became director of Aethlon Medical, Inc. in March of 1999, and is the past President of Fisher-Price, a children's products company, and was co-founder and CEO of Software Distribution Services, which today operates as Ingram Micro-D, a global leader in the distribution of personal computer products. He received a BA from Harvard University, and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
Dr. Joseph A. Bellanti, M.D. is a widely recognized researcher, educator, and practitioner in the fields of immunology, allergy, and microbiology. He has been a member of the faculty of Georgetown University School of Medicine since 1963, since 1980 as Director of the Division of Allergy-Immunology, Department of Pediatrics and the Division of Virology and Immunology,Department of Laboratory Medicine Georgetown University Hospital. In 1975, he worked to establish the International Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of Immunology, to establish a forum for generating new knowledge in immunology and translating it to clinical use through a multidisciplinary approach involving basic and clinical investigators, allied health professionals, statisticians, and health educators. Its location in the nation's capital has enhanced its international perspective; students, physicians, and scientists from all over the would are invited to study there. Frequently, he lectures abroad in Europe and South America, sometimes in fluent Spanish or Italian. In 1972, he was named one of the "Outstanding Educators of America" by the William Peck Society, an educators' group. Part of his time is devoted to direct patient care of children and adults exhibiting the full spectrum of allergic and immunologic disorders. Dr. Bellanti was President of the Society for Pediatric Research (1980), President of INTERASTHMA (1987-90), President of the American College of Allergy and Immunology (1991-92), President of the Association of Medical Laboratory Immunologists (1974-84); Editor of "Annals of Allergy: (1980-89). He is recipients of many national and international honors, most recently receiving the Honoris causa from the University of Palermo, Italy (1992).

Kenneth R. Michael, Pharm. D., R.A.C., is the former Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance at Siemens Medical Systems, and is the Founder, past President and Chairman of The Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS), an international professional society representing over 8000 healthcare Regulatory Affairs professionals. He is also the Founder of the local San Diego Regulatory Affairs Network (SDRAN). Currently, Dr. Michael serves as the President of KRM Associates LLC, a regulatory and clinical affairs consulting organization, and frequently teaches regulatory, quality and management professionals at various university and medical institutions. He is an active director of several medical device, and pharmaceutical organizations.

Nathan W. Levin, M.D. Director Dr. Levin has been a director of CorMedix since April 2007. Dr. Levin has been Medical & Research Director at Renal Research Institute LLC since 1997. He is also a Professor of Clinical Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he has been on the faculty since 1994. Prior to that, Dr. Levin was Professor of Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine from 1989 to 1994 and at the University of Michigan from 1974 to 1988. He is currently Attending Physician, Division of Nephrology and Hypertension, at Beth Israel Medical Center, where he has been on staff since 1988. As an opinion leader in academic nephrology, Dr. Levin has been published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, speaks frequently at academic nephrology conferences, and has been a member of the editorial boards of several medical journals. Dr. Levin was the co-chair of the initial DOQI and KDOQI Guidelines Committee. He is also a past president of the Renal Physicians Association. Dr. Levin received his medical degree from the University of Witwatersand in Johannesburg, South Africa, and received postdoctoral training at the College of Physicians of South Africa, the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American College of Physicians.
PEDRO CUATRECASAS, M.D. Dr. Cuatrecasas has served as a director of the Company since August 1996. He has over 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Cuatrecasas retired from the positions of Vice President of Warner-Lambert Company and President, Parke-Davis Pharmaceutical Research on December 31, 1996, positions he had held since 1989. During the previous four years, he had been Senior Vice President of Research and Development and Director of Glaxo, Inc. For the prior ten years, he was Vice President of Research, Development and Medical and Director of Burroughs Wellcome Company. Dr. Cuatrecasas is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Medicine. He is currently an independent consultant in pharmaceutical research and an Adjunct Professor in Medicine and Pharmacology at the University of California in San Diego. He received his M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Cuatrecasas qualifies as an "independent" director within the meaning of Rule 4200(a)(15) of the NASD Listing Standards.
