He has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Agilent Technologies, Inc., a provider of scientific and technical instruments, since March 2005. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Agilent, from March 2002 until March 2005, and as its Senior Vice President and General Manager of its Semiconductor Products Group from August 1999 until March 2002. Adrian Dillon served as our Interim Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer from February 2006 to June 2006, and as a director since March 2006 and as chairman of the board of directors since June 7, 2006. Mr. Dillon has been the Executive Vice President, Finance and Administration, Chief Financial Officer of Agilent since December 2001. Prior to assuming this position, Mr. Dillon served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial and Planning Officer of Eaton Corporation from April 1997 to December 2001. Mr. Dillon held various management positions at Eaton Corporation from 1979 to 1997. Mr. Dillon is a member of the board of directors of Williams-Sonoma, Inc.
Adrian T. Dillon is executive vice president, finance and administration, and Chief Financial Officer of Agilent Technologies. Dillon joined Agilent in December 2001 after a 22-year career at Eaton Corporation where he was executive vice president and chief financial and planning officer. At Agilent, Dillon has responsibility for management of the company’s finance functions, strategic planning and corporate development, as well as shared services such as IT, workplace services (facilities and trade), global sourcing and corporate relations.
During his career at Eaton Corporation, an Ohio-based diversified industrial manufacturer, Dillon held a variety of positions. He joined the company in 1979 as senior economist. In 1995, Dillon was elected Chief Financial & Planning Officer; he was promoted to executive vice president in 1997.
Dillon is a summa cum laude graduate of Amherst College with a BA in economics. He is on the board of directors of Williams-Sonoma, Inc., where he chairs the Audit & Finance committee. Dillon is past chairman of the Conference Board's Council of Financial Executives. He also serves on the finance committee of Castilleja School, a private girls school in Palo Alto, CA. Long involved in philanthropic endeavors, Dillon was chairman of the board of trustees of Beech Brook, a provider of mental health services for children and families, as well as vice chairman of WVIZ and WCPN, Cleveland’s public TV and radio stations, where he chaired the Strategic Planning Committee.
D. Craig Nordlund is senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of Agilent Technologies. Nordlund utilizes his broad legal background with Agilent by supervising the company’s global legal function including intellectual property law, legal policies, compliance, commercial law, employment law, as well as merger and acquisition and litigation support.
Nordlund's experience in corporate law spans more than three decades, beginning with his first job as an attorney with the Palo Alto law firm of Ware & Friedenrich (now DLA Piper) in 1974, and later as in-house counsel with Hewlett-Packard Company in 1977. Over the course of the following years, he held positions ascending from senior attorney and assistant general counsel, to associate general counsel and secretary. From 1987 to 1999, Nordlund managed Hewlett-Packard's U.S. general legal operations and served as HP’s corporate secretary where he had responsibility for the company’s annual shareholders' meetings, Board of Directors formalities, corporate governance issues and shareholder relations. He was named Agilent's senior vice president, general counsel and secretary in May 1999.
Nordlund currently serves as secretary for the Agilent Technologies Foundation, and is an officer and director of a number of Agilent subsidiaries. He has been a director of the Addison Avenue Federal Credit Union since 1985.
Nordlund received a bachelor's degree in political science and journalism from Stanford University and a law degree from Vanderbilt University. He is a member of the California Bar Association, the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), and the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals. His leadership in the field of corporate law is reflected through various roles, including past service as national chairman of the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals, as well as chairman of its national Securities Law Committee. He is currently on the board of directors of the Council of Institutional Investors and was a founding director of the Bay Area Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel where he also served on the national ACC Board of Directors. He also serves on the board of the Silicon Valley Conference for Community and Justice (SVCCJ) and is a member of the local Junior Achievement advisory board.
Jean Halloran is senior vice president of Human Resources for Agilent Technologies. Halloran's responsibilities include directing Agilent's global policies and programs for leadership and talent development, compensation, benefits, staffing and workforce planning, human resources systems, education and organization development.
Halloran has extensive experience in human resources, extending back to when she joined Hewlett-Packard Company's Medical Products Group in 1980. Within that group, she held a number of positions in Human Resources, Manufacturing and Strategic Planning before becoming group personnel manager. In 1993, Halloran was promoted to personnel manager for the Measurement Systems Organization and, in 1997, was appointed to director of Corporate Education and Development for HP. She has served as Agilent's senior vice president, Human Resources since August 1999.
Halloran received her bachelor's degree in art history from Princeton University and a master's degree in business administration from Harvard University. In addition, she performed research in developmental psychology at Oxford University, in England. Halloran has also been a director of several schools and non-profit organizations, including Concord Academy, the Human Resources Policy Institute, Jobs for the Future and RAFT (Resource Area for Teachers).
Patrick J. Byrne joined the company as President and Chief Executive Officer and was also elected to the company's Board of Directors in July, 2007. Pat is a 24-year veteran of Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies where he held increasingly responsible positions in Research, Engineering, Marketing and General Management. He was most recently Senior VP of Agilent Technologies, Inc. and President of Agilent's Electronic Measurement Group, and prior to that he was VP and General Manager of Agilent’s Wireless Business Unit.
Pat received his BS degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and his MS degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University. He currently serves on the Board of Samuel Ginn College of Engineering at Auburn University.
Ronald S. Nersesian, 49, has served as our Vice President and General Manager of the Wireless Business Unit of Electronic Measurements Group since February 2005. Prior to assuming this position, from May, 2002 to February 2005, Mr. Nersesian served as our Vice President and General Manager of the Design Validation Division. Prior to joining Agilent, Mr. Nersesian served in management positions with LeCroy Corporation from 1996 to 2002, including Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Digital Storage Oscilloscope Business.

Darlene J.S. Solomon is Agilent chief technology officer and vice president of Agilent Laboratories. Solomon's responsibilities include developing the company's long-term technology strategy and overseeing the alignment of Agilent’s objectives with its centralized research-and-development activities.
Solomon brings extensive experience in R&D and management to her current leadership role at Agilent Labs. She joined Hewlett-Packard Laboratories in 1984 as a member of the technical staff, subsequently holding a variety of research and management positions there, including R&D manager for the Chemical and Biological Systems Department. She joined Agilent Technologies when the company was formed in 1999. Prior to being named to her current post, Solomon held the dual role of director of the Life Sciences Technologies Laboratory within Agilent Labs, as well as senior director, research and development/technology, for Agilent's Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis business.
Solomon received her bachelor's degree in chemistry from Stanford University, a doctorate in inorganic chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and completed Stanford University’s Executive Development Program. With numerous patents and publications to her name, Solomon was inducted into the Women in Technology International's Hall of Fame in 2001, received the YWCA Tribute to Women and Industry Award in 2004, and named to Diversity Journal’s Women Worth Watching in 2007.
Solomon serves on a number of scientific boards. She chairs R&D for California’s Blue Ribbon Task Force on Nanotechnology (Chair of R&D) and serves on external advisory boards for the National Science Foundation Nanobiotechnology Center, A-STAR Board for Singapore Economic Development, University of California at Davis, University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering, Joint Venture Technology Convergence Consortium, and Bay Area Science and Innovation Consortium (BASIC).
David S. Churchill, 51, has served as our Vice President and General Manager of the Network and Digital Solutions Business Unit of the Electronic Measurements Group since May 2006. Prior to assuming this position, from May 2005 to May 2006, Mr. Churchill served as our Vice President and General Manager of the Design Validation Division. Prior to joining Agilent, Mr. Churchill served as Vice President and General Manager of the Communications and Video Business Unit of Tektronix, Inc. from 2001 to April 2005. Mr. Churchill held various management positions at Tektronix, Inc. from 1995 to 2001.
Didier Hirsch, has served as our Vice President, Corporate Controllership and Tax since November 2006 and as our Chief Accounting Officer since November 2007. From April 2003 to October 2006, Mr. Hirsch served as Vice President and Controller. Prior to assuming this position, Mr. Hirsch served as Vice President and Treasurer from September 1999 to April 2003. Mr. Hirsch had joined Hewlett-Packard Company in 1989 as Director of Finance and Administration of Hewlett-Packard France. In 1993, he became Director of Finance and Administration of Hewlett-Packard Asia Pacific, and in 1996 Director of Finance and Administration of Hewlett- Packard Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
Fran DiNuzzo leads the Integrated Biology Solutions (IBS) unit within Agilent’s Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis group (LSCA), with responsibilities for R&D, manufacturing and marketing of Agilent's life sciences businesses, including gene expression, proteomics, and bio-reagents. He joined HP/Agilent in 1981 as an R&D project manager in the Avondale (Pennsylvania) Division and over the past 20 years has held several senior R&D, manufacturing and marketing management positions. Prior to assuming his current position, he was vice president and general manager of the Bio-Reagents, Consumables and Services unit. DiNuzzo holds bachelor's degree and master's degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of New Hampshire.

Mike Gasparian is vice president and general manager of the Materials Science Solutions Unit in Agilent Technologies' Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis business. The unit is focused on developing a microscopy and optical spectroscopy business that can be leveraged into the electronics, materials testing, life sciences and chemical analysis markets. Gasparian was most recently the vice president and general manager, customer and quality. Prior to that, he was vice president and general manager of the company's Multi-Industry Business Unit, part of Agilent's Electronic Measurement Group.
Gasparian joined Hewlett-Packard in 1980 with the Colorado Springs Division in manufacturing engineering. In 1987, he was named marketing manager of the Loveland Instrument Division, and was appointed general manager of the Electronic Measurements Division in 1992, responsible for development, marketing and manufacturing of basic instruments, including oscilloscopes, sources and voltmeters.
Gasparian was tapped to lead Agilent's Electronic Products and Solutions Group Worldwide Field Operations in 1999, and later headed the group's Sales and Marketing organization in 2000. He became vice president and general manager of the Multi-Industry Business Unit in September 2001.
Gasparian received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Duke University and an MBA from the University of Colorado.
Mike Bandy is Vice President, Memory Test of the Agilent Technologies' California Semiconductor Test Division (CSTD). The division is a part of the Automated Test Group. Located in Santa Clara, California, CSTD's focus is the testing of semiconductor devices such as Flash and DRAM Memories. Bandy has P&L responsibility, as well as R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing and Finance.
Bandy joined HP in 1973 as a Field Engineer at the Paramus Sales Office. He undertook an international assignment relocating to Europe. Later he joined the Santa Clara Division as a Sales Manager, Product Manager, Product Marketing Manager, and in 1984 became the Division Marketing Manager. In 1992 he was promoted to the position of General Manager of the Applied Optoelectronics Test. In that position he managed the acquisition and integration of Versatest Company into HP. As the organization grew it evolved into CSTD in 1997.
Bandy was born April 5, 1947 in Queens, N.Y., and received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the New York Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Michael R. McMullen, 47, has served as our Vice President and General Manager of the Chemical Analysis Solutions Unit of the Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis Group since January 2002. Prior to assuming this position, from March 1999 to December 2001, Mr. McMullen served as our Japan Country Manager for the Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis Group. Prior to this position, Mr. McMullen served as our Controller for the Agilent Technologies and Yokogawa Electric Joint Venture (YAN) from July 1996 to March 1999.
Minoru Ebihara is the General Manager of Hachioji Semiconductor Test Division and Digital Consumer Semiconductor Test Solutions that are belonging to Automated Test Group. Ebihara is located in Hachioji, Japan and is responsible for Semiconductor Parametric Test and Digital Consumer Test product lines, where they have a full range of functions...research and development, application development, marketing, customer support, manufacturing as well as controller.
Ebihara joined Yokogawa-Hewlett-Packard Company, currently Agilent Japan, in 1973 as a marketing engineer at the former Japan marketing center in Japan. He later worked for YID (YHP Instrument Division) as a product marketing engineer and sales development engineer. In 1978, Ebihara was named international sales manager for the division and then marketing manager for YIO(YHP Instrument Operation, current EPS-CTU-Kobe) in 1987.
Four years later, he was transferred to HSTD (Hachioji Semiconductor Test Division) as a marketing manager in 1991. In 1995, he worked at CSTD (California Semiconductor Test Division) in Santa Clara, Calif. as a business development manager. In 1996, he was promoted to general manager of HSTD. In 1997, he was elected a director of Hewlett Packard Japan. In 2000, he has another role as the General Manager of Digital Consumer Semiconductor Test Solutions as well.
Ebihara was born June 16, 1946, in Ibaragi Prefecture Japan and received a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering from the University of Electro-Communications in Tokyo, Japan.

Nick Roelofs is vice president and general manager of the Life Sciences Solutions Unit (LSSU) within Agilent's Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis group. His organization provides solutions for the life science markets which include genomics, proteomics, research and disease understanding, and pharmaceutical drug discovery and development/QA/QC. Nicolas H. Roelofs, 50, has served as our Vice President and General Manager of the Life Sciences Solutions Unit of the Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis Group since June 2006. Prior to joining Agilent, Mr. Roelofs served as Group Operations Officer of the Life Sciences Group of Bio-Rad Laboratories from January 2005 to May 2006. Prior to that, Mr. Roelofs served as Chief Operating Officer of Stratagene Corporation from 2001 to December 2004.
Roger Nalepa leads the worldwide order fulfillment organization for Agilent’s Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis group (LSCA). His organization is responsible for developing and managing LSCA’s order fulfillment supply chains in order to meet customer expectations while providing a competitive advantage to Agilent. Since joining HP/Agilent in 1971, Roger has held managerial positions in R&D, manufacturing, production and operations. As operations manager for the Avondale (Pennsylvania) Division, he oversaw the relocation of the entire division to a new facility in Little Falls, Delaware. In 1996, he became general manager of LSCA’s Shanghai operation. In 2000, he returned to Little Falls to manage the consumables order fulfillment team and inventory initiative. He became the worldwide order fulfillment manager in October 2000. Roger holds a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan.

Thomas N. Newsom is Vice President and General Manager, Systems on Chip Business Unit. This Business Unit is responsible for Agilent's ATE business focused on the rapidly growing System on a Chip (SOC) market. The SOC Business Unit focuses on scalable families of test systems, value-added services, and total solutions for design, validation, and high volume manufacturing of SOC devices.
Tom joined HP in 1980 as a marketing engineer in the Manufacturing Test Division. He has held positions in User Training, Customer Support, Marketing Communications, Application Engineering, Product Management, and Strategic Business Development.
Tom was born in Winchester, Tennessee and graduated with High Honors in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 1980. He currently lives in Ft. Collins, CO with his wife Leigh and 3 sons

Jack Trautman is the senior vice president and general manager for Agilent Technologies' Automated Test Group (ATG). ATG is a part of Agilent's Test and Measurement Organization and is the leading global supplier of automated test equipment and x-ray inspection test equipment for printed circuit boards, semiconductor parametric test equipment, SOC (system-on-a-chip) and flash memory wafer sort test equipment.
Trautman was most recently the vice president and general manager of Agilent's Communications Management Solutions Business Unit, and has more than 28 years experience at Agilent and Hewlett-Packard. He joined HP in 1974 as an R&D engineer in Loveland, Colo., and later served as general manager of the Loveland Technology Center, the Manufacturing Test Division, and the Measurement Systems Division, which later became part of Agilent. In 1997, he was named general manager of HP's Computer Peripherals Bristol Division in Bristol, England, responsible for HP's tape drive business. In 2000, he became general manager of the Data Protection Business at HP. Trautman re-joined Agilent last year to lead the integration of Objective Systems Integrators Inc., an operations support systems company acquired by Agilent earlier in 2001.
Trautman was born in 1950 in Oak Park, Illinois. He received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois, a Master of Science in electrical engineering from Stanford University, and an Executive MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
Jack is married with one son. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, snowshoeing, road and mountain biking, and hiking in the Colorado mountains.
Paul Clark has been a director since August 2007. Mr. Clark served as Chief Executive Officer and President from June 1999 and Chairman of the Board from February 2000 until February 2007 of ICOS Corporation, a biotechnology company. Prior to ICOS, Mr. Clark was with Abbott Laboratories from 1984-1998, where he had responsibility for pharmaceuticals and other businesses, retiring from Abbott as Executive Vice President and a Board Member. Mr. Clark is also an Operating Partner and Strategic Advisory Board member of Genstar Capital LLC, and a Director of Agilent Technologies, Talecris Biotherapeutics, and Harlan Sprague Dawley. Mr. Clark received his B.S. in finance from University of Alabama and his MBA from Dartmouth College, Amos Tuck School. Our executive officers are appointed by, and serve at the discretion of, our board of directors. There are no family relationships between our directors and executive officers.
Ron Adam joined Complete Test in 2003 as a senior partner after working for Hewlett Packard/Agilent Technologies for over 29 years. He has a BSEE from Colorado State University and has taken post-graduate courses. Ron has worked in production, technical supervision, material engineering, marketing and technical documentation. He had a close working relationship with the support engineering staff providing customer support. Ron has worked on many bench-top instruments, VXI instruments and mainframes, wireless test systems, wireless test fixtures, and wireless test application software. He has written 30+ user manuals, service manuals, getting started guides, quick reference guides, etc. as well as developed many instrument performance verification and calibration programs. Ron is currently on leave from Complete Test after being called up to active duty for the Army Reserve.

Dr. Waguih Ishak was elected an IEEE Fellow for contributions to photonics, optoelectronics and fiber optics that enable the convergence of computer, communications and consumer electronics functions. Agilent Technology products developed based on Ishak’s research include microwave and acoustic devices used in electronic test and measurement applications, state-of-the-art lightwave and optical-measurement equipment, high-speed fiber-optical modules that improve router and computer interconnect performance for high-speed data transfer, and components used in the design of today’s integrated mobile phones.
Ludwig Huber, Ph.D., is Global Program Manager for FDA compliance at Agilent Technologies. He is the author and editor of www.labcompliance.com, the on-line resource for validation and FDA compliance He is also the author of the books Validation of Computerized Analytical Systems and Validation and Qualification in Analytical Laboratories, Interpharm Press, 2002 and 1998. He has been a team and review member of PDA's task force "21 CFR Part11" and "Validation of Laboratory Data Acquisition Systems". He also is on the executive advisory boards of IVT Journals, PharmTech Europe, 21 CFR Part11 Newsletter and the European Compliance Academy (ECA).

Hofmann, Larry - After graduating from Arizona State University in 1986 with a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Larry went to work for Hewlett-Packard Company as a software design engineer. Peter Schweiger has worked in the test and measurement world for over 14 years. He joined Hewlett-Packard/Agilent in 1987 as a staff engineer in Toronto, Canada.

Dr. Lawrence was appointed to our Board in December 2006. Dr. Lawrence is the Retired Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc. and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals (KFHP/KFH). He also serves in advisory roles to the biotechnology industry. He has been a consultant to Dynavax since May 2005. Dr. Lawrence joined Kaiser in 1981. He was named chief executive officer of KFHP/KFH in 1991 and chairman of its Board in 1992. Prior to that, he served as vice chairman and chief operating officer as well as a key executive in Kaiser Permanente divisions in Oregon and Colorado. He retired on December 31, 2002. Dr. Lawrence is a graduate of Amherst College (BA), the University of Kentucky (MD), and the University of Washington (MPH). He is Board Certified in General Preventive Medicine (the Johns Hopkins University and the University of Washington). He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha (Medical Honorary Society) and the Institute of Medicine (National Academy of Sciences).
