"Dr. Ronald D. Sugar is chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Northrop Grumman Corporation, a leader in global security.
Northrop Grumman provides innovative systems, products, and solutions in aerospace, electronics, information systems, shipbuilding and technical services to government and commercial customers worldwide. Northrop Grumman is headquartered in Los Angeles, California with sales of $34B, and employs 120,000 people in all 50 states and 25 countries.
Sugar was elected Chairman and CEO in 2003. He joined the company following its 2001 acquisition of Litton Industries Inc., having previously served as Litton's president and chief operating officer and as a member of its board of directors.
Prior to joining Litton, Sugar was president and chief operating officer of TRW Aerospace and Information Systems. Earlier, he ran TRW's worldwide automotive electronics business and also served as TRW's chief financial officer. TRW Inc. was acquired by Northrop Grumman in 2002.
In 1968, Sugar graduated summa cum laude in engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he also received a master's degree and a doctorate in the same field. He subsequently completed executive education programs at Stanford University, the Wharton School, and Harvard University. He was honored by UCLA as Engineering Alumnus of the Year, and has received among other honors the Marine Corps Foundation's Semper Fidelis Award, the Air Force Association’s John R. Alison Leadership to National Defense Award, the Army Distaff Foundation’s Eisenhower Distinguished Citizen Award, and the Howard Hughes Memorial Award.
Sugar is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, a fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and a fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society. He served as Chairman of the Aerospace Industries Association and as national fundraising chairman of the $50M Pearl Harbor Memorial Fund. He earlier was appointed by the President of the United States to the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee. He is a national trustee of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, a director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association, a member of the Board of Visitors of the UCLA Anderson School of Management, a trustee of the University of Southern California, and a member of the board of directors of Chevron Corporation.

"Wes Bush is president and chief operating officer for Northrop Grumman Corporation.
Bush was appointed president in May 2006 and chief operating officer in March 2007. He also serves on the company’s corporate policy council. He was appointed corporate vice president and chief financial officer for the company in 2005. In 2003, he was appointed Space Technology sector president and held complete general management responsibilities for that business. Prior to the acquisition of TRW by Northrop Grumman, Bush had served since 2001 as president and CEO for TRW's UK-based global Aeronautical Systems.
Bush joined TRW in 1987 as a systems engineer and has held a series of increasingly responsible roles. In 1996 he was named program manager of a defense satellite program for the defense systems division, responsible for management of the satellite and ground segment developments, launch services, and operations and maintenance. "Dr. Alexis C. Livanos is corporate vice president and chief technology officer for Northrop Grumman.

Livanos earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, a master’s degree in engineering science, and a Ph.D. in engineering science and physics from the California Institute of Technology. He also taught applied physics at Caltech for two years as a post-doctorate fellow.
In 2008, Livanos was inducted into the National Academy of Engineering. That year he also received the Caltech Distinguished Alumni Award, the International von Karman Wings Award from the Aerospace Historical Society, and the IS Executive Leadership Award given by the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is a fellow of the California Council on Science & Technology and chaired its task force on the best and brightest. He is chairman of the Science Advisory Council for GALCIT, a member of the Visiting Committee for Caltech’s Division of Engineering and Applied Science. He is on the Board of Councilors for the University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering and he serves on the UCLA Visiting Committee for Science and Technology. Dr. Dale Burton is sector vice president, Technology and Chief Technology Officer for Northrop Grumman's Integrated Systems sector, reporting directly to the sector president. He is responsible for directing the technology focus, reviewing sector technology development, and managing the decision-making process for discretionary resources for technology development and fielding. Having joined Northrop Grumman in July 1987 as a lead engineer, Dr. Burton was promoted to chief systems engineer a year later, heading the preparation of the top-level Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (Joint STARS) Preliminary Design Review summary. He led the engineering flight test system integration and flight test effort to a successful completion, which was capped by the "Early Look" and the European operational field demonstrations in 1990. As technical advisor to the Engineering department and a member of the full-scale development team, Dr. Burton flew 37 combat missions in Desert Storm. Following his return from Desert Storm, he was appointed director of Advanced Systems and, in March 1996, was named deputy program manager for the Joint STARS program. He served as chief engineer and deputy department manager of Engineering, Technology and Integrated Logistics Support beginning in early 1998. The following year he was appointed vice president, Engineering, Logistics, and Technology and in January 2003 was also named vice president, Advanced Architectures for Integrated Systems' Advanced Capabilities Development organization. Dr. Burton was a member of the Air Force Scientific Advisory Board from 1994 through 1998 and, prior to joining Northrop Grumman, held various lead technical positions in corporations such as Raytheon, Hughes Radar Systems Group, United Technologies Research Center, and Sikorsky Aircraft. He earned a Doctor of Science degree in applied mathematics from Florida State University in 1981 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

"Ian V. Ziskin is corporate vice president of chief human resources and administrative officer for Northrop Grumman Corporation.
He is responsible for human resources (HR) strategy, compensation, benefits, HR information systems, employee and labor relations, learning and development, talent management/succession planning, talent acquisition, organization effectiveness and change management, process excellence, acquisition integration, security. His experience includes the aerospace and defense, automotive, electronic components, information services and telecommunications industries, in both service and manufacturing environments, in more than 25 countries in North America, South America, Europe and Asia/Pacific. Ziskin has been a speaker and author in areas that include acquisition integration, executive compensation, globalization, HR strategies and competencies and leadership/talent development. He earned a bachelor’s degree in management from Binghamton University, where he graduated magna cum laude, and a master’s degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University. He is also a graduate of executive human resources programs at the University of Michigan and Cornell University, as well as general management experiences including the Thunderbird Global Leadership Program, TRW’s Advanced Management and Business Leadership Programs, and LEAD1NG One Northrop Grumman where he also serves as a faculty member and program leader. Palmer is responsible for the company's overall business management function and activities including the controller; treasury; contracts, pricing and supply chain; financial planning; tax; internal audit; investor relations; and trust administration and investments. Dr. Robert F. Brammer is vice president and chief technology officer (CTO) for Northrop Grumman's Information Technology (IT) sector. He is responsible for the sector's technology strategy and investments, and he reviews regularly all major sector programs and proposals to ensure continuing technology leadership. Current major IT sector investment areas include advanced wireless, satellite and optical networks, information operations and security engineering, large-scale information and knowledge management, enterprise systems and managed services, and software and enterprise engineering. He also leads the ongoing development of Northrop Grumman's TRIAD network, a nationwide network of state of the art laboratories for advanced research and integration of large-scale information systems. Prior to assuming IT sector responsibilities, Dr. Brammer was CTO for TASC, a business unit of Northrop Grumman IT. He managed the unit's Investment program, including the independent research and development and Growth Initiative programs. Dr. Brammer created and directed its Information Infrastructure Organization, consolidating its Enterprise Data Center, TASCnet, desktop, voice and videoconference systems, and led the successful implementation of a PeopleSoft Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. He also worked on a dual assignment as the CTO for Primark, a previous TASC parent corporation in the 1990s. He led technology infusion from TASC into Primark global financial information services businesses. He also led technology due diligence for several acquisitions, managed global telecommunications serving customers in more than 60 countries and provided oversight for the implementation of a new SAP-based ERP system. Prior to serving as TASC's CTO, Dr. Brammer was director of its Physical Sciences Division. He began its weather-related business and several applications of earth and environmental remote-sensing technologies. He led numerous research and development programs in high-performance computing, digital image processing and geophysical sciences for programs within the U.S. national security community, and developed the first commercial weather satellite ground station. Before joining the company, Dr. Brammer was with NASA where he worked on Apollo and Skylab. His work focused on real-time software for tracking, command, telemetry and communications. Dr. Brammer has a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Michigan, and master's and doctoral degrees in mathematics from the University of Maryland. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi, and is a Woodrow Wilson Fellow. He received achievement awards for work on the Apollo program and for principal investigator research on NASA satellite remote-sensing programs. He is a Fellow of both the Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers and the American Meteorological Society. He is also a senior member or member of several other professional societies, including the IEEE, SIAM, SMPTE and AGU. Dr. Brammer has published numerous scientific and technical research papers in the journals and conferences of these societies. Albert F. Myers is corporate vice president and treasurer for Northrop Grumman Corporation, a leader in the aerospace and defense industries, which makes B-2 Stealth bombers and E-2C Hawkeyes as well as components for the F/A-18 and F-14 fighters and for commercial customers including Boeing, Airbus and Gulfstream. Following graduation, Myers began his career at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Dryden Flight Research Center. For the next several years, he held positions at Dryden, including chief of the controls branch. In 1981, he joined Northrop Grumman as manager of Flight Controls Engineering at the company's B-2 Division and served in management positions in flight sciences and project engineering and as B-2 deputy program manager as well as vice president of Test Operations. In that position, he supervised the departments that were engaged in the preparation and execution of full-scale test activities for the B-2 Division, including the flight testing of the B-2 stealth bomber. From 199 to 1994, he was corporate vice president of Business Strategy and was elected to his present position in 1994. He is currently responsible for banking; risk management; benefits administration; pension and savings investments; mergers and acquisitions as well as trust management and cash management. Previously, Mr. Allen was senior vice president and deputy general manager for General Dynamicsa Network Systems IT, a networking and information technology solutions organization delivering enterprise services to the Department of Defense and to intelligence, federal, civil, commercial and international marketplaces. Prior to his position as senior vice president and deputy general manager, Mr. Allen served as vice president and deputy general manager at Enterprise Networks, a General Dynamics business unit. There, he was responsible for the organization that handles the delivery of converged network solutions for the Department of Defense, civil, commercial and international customers. Mr. Allen held positions of increasing responsibility at GTE, Government System Corporation which was acquired by General Dynamics in 1999. In 1981, Mr. Allen joined TRW (which was acquired by Northrop Grumman in 2002), and his background includes designing, developing and supporting information processing systems, signal analysis systems and signal processing systems. Mr. Allen earned a bachelor of science degree in computer science from the University of Maryland in 1982, a master of science degree in computer science from Johns Hopkins University in 1986 and a master of science degree in national resource strategy from the National Defense University in 1997.

David B. Vandervoet is sector vice president and general manager of the Network Communications Division (NCD) within Northrop Grumman Mission Systems. As sector vice president and general manager, Mr. Vandervoet leads NCD, with responsibility for the organizationa s overall leadership, management and execution of strategic initiatives. Headquartered in San Diego, Calif., the division was established Jan. 1, 2007, and focuses on refining and expanding communications capabilities in a network-centric environment. Immediately prior to his appointment as vice president and general manager, Mr. Vandervoet led Northrop Grumman Space Technologya s Radio Systems business unit since 1999. Based in San Diego, Calif., Radio Systems developed and produced advanced software-defined radio technologies for complex military applications, including next-generation avionics for the F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II (Joint Strike Fighter). Radio Systems also developed affordable modular avionics upgrades to military platforms and supplied multifunction antenna systems, integration support facilities, management and information systems, simulation and modeling tools, software development and a full-spectrum of engineering services for the military and aircraft prime contractors. Prior to his service with Radio Systems, Mr. Vandervoet was vice president of the Quality, Procurement and Operations organization for TRW Space and Electronics. He also served as vice president and general manager of the Telecommunication Programs and the Electronics Systems and Technology divisions. His responsibilities included overseeing electronic space payload programs and electronics technology development of space and terrestrial products. Mr. Vandervoet joined the technical staff of TRW (which was acquired by Northrop Grumman in December 2002) in 1969. He has held many technical and management positions related to the development of communications satellite systems. He has been deputy general manager in the Electronic Systems Division and program manager for the Milstar satellite payload. Mr. Vandervoet earned a bachelora s degree and a mastera s degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He also graduated from TRW's corporate Business Leadership Program and is certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt.
Dave Barakat is sector vice president of programs for Mission Systems. In this capacity, he provides management, technical and programmatic oversight for major programs across the organization and, as such, is the sectora s program review authority. Previously, he was a vice president and general manager of the Intelligence Systems Division for TRW Systems (which was acquired by Northrop Grumman in December 2002). For the past 35 years, Mr. Barakat has been responsible for the management, design, development and implementation of various types of hardware and software systems. These systems have been developed for a wide variety of applications for various national and international customers. To implement these responsibilities, he has held roles in business acquisition, project management and general management at various levels within Northrop Grumman/TRW. He has been responsible for strategic planning activities at the segment, group, division, strategic business unit and operations levels and has interfaced extensively with all levels within the company. His duties have required extensive interface with senior-level counterparts in government and industry, nationally and internationally, for the past 20 years. Mr. Barakat has a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a mastera s degree in business administration from UCLA. He has completed professional certification programs at Stanford and Harvard.

Otto J. Guenther is sector vice president of special programs, reporting to corporate vice president and president of Mission Systems, Jerry Agee. Previously, Mr. Guenther was sector vice president and general manager of Northrop Grumman Mission Systemsa Tactical Systems Division. In this role, he oversaw battlefield digitization, command and control, and system engineering activities for the U.S. Army. He worked to expand Mission Systemsa capabilities to the Marine Corps as well as Friendly Land Forces through foreign military sales. Before joining TRW (which was acquired by Northrop Grumman in December 2002), Mr. Guenther was general manager of Computer Associates Internationala s (CAIs) Federal Systems Group, a $300 million operation providing IT products and services to the federal market area. Mr. Guenther also served for 34 years in the U.S. Army, during which he worked in the Armya s Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence arena, accruing more than 20 years of acquisition and procurement experience. After passage of the Information and Technology Act by Congress in 1995, he became the U.S. Armya s first chief information officer. Other key assignments include: commanding general for both Fort Monmouth, N.J., and the Communications Electronics Command; program executive officer for the Armya s tactical communications equipment; project manager for the Tactical Automated Data Distribution System, and commander for the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulatory Council. The Army awarded Mr. Guenther several honors, including the Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit (Oak Leaf Cluster), Defense Superior Service Medal (Oak Leaf Cluster), Joint Service Medal, and Army Commendation Medal. Recognized for his work with industry, he received numerous awards, among which are those from Government Computer News Hall of Fame as well as several Armed Forces Communications Electronics recognition and support awards. He recently has served as president of the George Washington Chapter of the Association of the United States Army and as president, board of directors of the Army Knollwood retirement home. He also is the industry lead executive for MILCOM 2006. He is an active supporter of the American Heart Association and the USO. Mr. Guenther received a bachelora s degree in economics from Western Maryland College (now McDaniel) and a mastera s degree in procurement and contracting from the Florida Institute of Technology. He attended the Army Signal Officers Basic Course, the Infantry Advance Course, Command and General Staff College, and the Army War College (Senior Service College).

Phillip Frost, M.D. Dr. Frost became the CEO and Chairman of OPKO Health, Inc. upon the consummation of the merger of Acuity Pharmaceuticals Inc., Froptix Corporation and eXegenics, Inc. on March 27, 2007 (referred to as the Acquisition ).
