Aircraft Hardware West was established in 2002 when Frank Ioffrida and a small team of seasoned authorities on aircraft hardware recognized a unique opportunity in the marketplace. While other distributors offered parts geared toward specific industries, AHW is able to customize inventory around individual customers. This unique approach to stocking parts allows AHW to meet very specific needs and to expand our inventory to meet the growing needs of our customers. It's a level of partnership and personalized service that larger distributors simply can't offer. In 2002 Mr. Ioffrida began building inventory specific to the industries in which he was most knowledgeable. By 2003 AHW had established distributorships with key manufacturers like Textron, Esna, and Greer. He also built strong relationships with leading distributors to provide inventory on an immediate need basis. As the customer base expanded, AHW added sales staff to maintain the high standard of service. Then, in 2004, gaming, truck, and trailer were added to an industry list that includes aerospace, industrial, and department of defense.To this day, AHW has remained committed to its core vision - to offer supply on demand, to manage inventory systems, and to provide products and services to domestic and international markets.

While concurrently working towards an engineering degree, Chris joined the team at AHW as Quality Control Manager in the beginning of 2008. His experience and invaluable mechanical skills contribute to his abilities as Quality Control Manager. Chris works together with the Operations Manager to continually improve and maintain specific quality control procedures, providing the highest level of quality to AHW's customers.

From the founding of AHW, Krista has been instrumental in establishing and maintaining the accounting, shipping, purchasing, and inventory procedures at AHW. Upon graduation from California State University of Long Beach at the end of 2006, Lindsay was promoted to the position of Operations Manager at AHW. She manages the daily operations of the business and develops, implements, and maintains specific quality control procedures as Management Representative for ISO, assuring the highest standards for quality service and product reliability. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, focusing on Management, Lindsay also oversees Aircraft Hardware West's Human Resources Department.

Nicole upgraded and retooled all the financial processes at AHW. In so doing she provided the financial infrastructure to support AHW's rapid growth during its first three years of operation. She even set up the initial business processes, including general ledger and chart of accounts. Today Nicole manages all banking activities and consults on planning, growth opportunities, and human resources. She's also in the process of completing her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.

AHW's newest edition to the accounting department is Jamie DiMeo. She started as a sales associate and soon was promoted to assisting the Controller with Account's Receivable and Account's Payable. She handles the daily activities of invoice reconciliation, cash receipts, collecting and other miscellaneous accounting functions to obtain financial data for the use in maintaining accounting records. She is currently finishing up her degree in Business Administration.

Terry also spent the early part of his career on the customer side of the hardware industry. He was a heavy equipment mechanic before becoming operations manager in a fasteners distributor company. With a degree in applied science from Ferris State College, Terry is an invaluable partner to AHW's aircraft galley and cargo container customers. At MEG Tech, Terry was the top salesman for 7 straight years, building and managing several innovative bin stock programs. Today, Terry is responsible for developing AHW's new and existing business, along with overseeing day-to-day sales.

After graduating from Menlo College in 2006, Todd joined the team at AHW with the goal to quickly progress his career into sales. In order to increase his knowledge of the aircraft industry, Todd started working as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This proved to be an invaluable step to sales as Todd quickly expanded his knowledge of all the angles of the aircraft & commercial hardware industry. In 2007, Todd became a valuable asset to the sales department as a friendly sales representative to our general aviation and commercial customers.
