Daniel L. Smith is a Raytheon Company vice president and president of Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) business. He was appointed to this position in September 2003. He co-chaired the Blue Ribbon commission for math and science education with the governor of Rhode Island. Smith earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in business administration from Chapman University in Orange, Calif.
