Arne Haak, senior vice president of finance, treasurer and chief financial officer of AirTran Airways, joined AirTran in 1999 and has worked over the last nine years in a variety of roles in finance and Investor Relations. Arne became vice president of finance and treasurer in January 2006. Rocky Wiggins, senior vice president and chief information officer, joined AirTran Airways in September 2000. In this position, Wiggins oversees the airline’s IS department as well as the internal and external computer and telephone systems. In addition, the airline’s reservations department and its three Georgia-based call centers report to Wiggins. With more than 30 years of experience in the airline industry, Wiggins previously served as vice president of delivery management at Sabre, where he was responsible for the implementation of Sabre’s Airline Support Systems, including the scheduling, pricing, yield management, frequent traveler and crew planning systems. Wiggins began his airline career in 1975 at Air Kentucky Airlines. After joining US Airways in 1979, he served in several management roles including senior director of market planning information systems. A native of Owensboro, Ky., Wiggins studied engineering at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Ky., and physics at Guilford College in Greensboro, N.C. He earned a master of business administration from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C. Wiggins currently lives in Douglasville, Ga., with his wife and four children.

Alfred J. "Jack" Smith III, senior vice president of customer service, joined AirTran Airways in April 2002. He is responsible for customer service, security, airport operations, baggage service, inflight service, catering and cargo. With more than 20 years of experience in the airline industry, Jack Smith served as vice president - global operations for Northwest Airlines where he oversaw the execution of multiple cargo and postal product lines at 165 locations throughout the world. He began his tenure at Northwest Airlines in 1992 as vice president - customer service. In the mid-1980s, Smith served as director of customer service, prior to serving as director of inflight service for Midway Airlines. Smith began his airline career at Eastern Air Lines in 1974 where he held various positions before joining Altair Airlines as director of inflight service. Richard Magurno, senior vice president – general counsel and corporate secretary, joined AirTran Airways in August 2000. He oversees the airline’s legal affairs and serves as corporate secretary for the board of directors. Magurno has an extensive aviation legal background, most recently operating a private aviation consulting practice. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president and general counsel of Trans World Airlines. From 1989 to 1994, he was a partner in the law firm of Lord, Day & Lord, Barrett Smith in New York. Magurno began his airline career in 1970 as a staff attorney at Eastern Air Lines. In 1980, Magurno was appointed vice president - legal, and was named assistant secretary for Eastern. In 1984, he was promoted to senior vice president, general counsel and secretary for Eastern Air Lines. Magurno, a native of Suffern, New York, earned a bachelor of science from Georgetown University in Washington D.C, a master of arts from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wis., and a juris doctorate from Bronx, New York’s Fordham University School of Law. Magurno is a member of the bar of the states of New York and Florida, and he is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and several federal appellate and district courts. Jim Tabor, Vice President, Operations, joined AirTran Airways in 2001. He is responsible for system operations control (SOC), dispatch, charter operations, crew planning and scheduling, operations analysis, and ATC/Airfield operations. Tabor previously served as Senior Director – SOC for America West Airlines. He started his aviation career in 1981 as a station agent for Piedmont Airlines in Roanoke, Va. By the mid-1990’s, Tabor was leading planning, operational, and crew resources functions for US Airways as Senior Director of Operations. Tabor earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Eastern Nazarene College in Wollaston, Mass. He also possesses an Aircraft Dispatcher certificate. Peggy Sauer-Clark, vice president of Inflight service, joined AirTran Airways in 2003. Sauer-Clark oversees the Inflight department and catering operations at AirTran Airways. Sauer-Clark possesses 25 years of aviation experience, including 19 years with Northwest Airlines, Inc. During her tenure there, Sauer-Clark held several positions, most recently, director of labor relations-flight. Tad Hutcheson, Vice President of Marketing and Sales, joined AirTran Airways in 1997. Hutcheson oversees marketing, sales, partnerships, public relations, charitable giving, community relations, the loyalty program, and the company’s Web site, airtran.com. Prior to AirTran Airways, Hutcheson served as director of strategic planning and later vice president of marketing for KIWI International Air Lines. Hutcheson also worked in both the planning and marketing departments at Delta Air Lines where he served on Leadership 7.5. A native of Lookout Mountain, Tenn., Hutcheson graduated from The McCallie School in Chattanooga. He received a bachelor of arts from King College where he majored in both French literature and business administration. Hutcheson also earned an MBA from Wake Forest University. As a public speaker, Hutcheson has delivered key addresses at the Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism, the Public Relations Society of America Conference, the American Marketing Association, and the American Association of Advertising Agencies. In addition, Hutcheson frequently lectures on business related issues at schools such as Emory University, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest University and The Wharton School of Business. Hutcheson is a graduate of Bristol Leadership Tomorrow and Leadership Atlanta. In 2008, Hutcheson will serve as Chairman of the Board of Leadership Atlanta. Hutcheson belongs to several professional organizations such as ASTA, AASMA, NAAPRA, NBTA, and SKAL and serves on several marketing advisory boards such as the Orlando/Orange County Convention and Visitors’ Bureau marketing committee. Jeff Miller, General Manager, Flight Operations, joined AirTran Airways in May of 1996. He oversees Flight Operations. Jeff has more than 30 years experience in aviation both in management and flying positions. Jeff's prior position at AirTran Airways was Director of Flight Standards. Geoffrey T. Crowley was elected to our board in June 2008. Mr. Crowley is president of Northshore Leasing. Crowley was a founder of Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation (AWAC).Prior to his current position, Crowley served as chairman, president and CEO of AWAC, leading the company during its growth from 12 aircraft and revenues of $100 million to more than 80 aircraft and over $700 million in revenue at its peak. In addition, Crowley served as vice president of marketing alliances at Northwest Airlines. Crowley has a B.S. in Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., with a focus on Transportation. He received his M.B.A. from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Crowley was appointed by President Clinton and confirmed by the Senate to serve on the FAA's first Management Advisory Council. He was also appointed by the Governor of Wisconsin to serve on a committee to examine the state's transportation infrastructure.
