Mr. A. Charles Bangert has been elected Vice President for Fiscal Year 2004; he was originally appointed to the Board in 2003. Previously, Mr. Bangert served in a variety of engineering, regulatory, and management positions in the Pacific Gas and Electric Company, most recently as Director of Business Planning. During his tenure, he was elected President of the Bay Area Engineering Council, held offices in the American Institute of Industrial Engineers, and was the company's representative on the California Business Roundtable. He has over 30 years of utility experience. In addition to his service on the Board, Mr. Bangert now performs as an investment manager for a variety of private clients. He holds a baccalaureate degree in Industrial Engineering/Operations Research from the University of California at Berkeley.
