Christopher J. Benjamin is senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. and general manager of Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Company, a division of A&B. Benjamin joined A&B in 2001 as director, corporate development and planning, and was promoted to vice president in 2003. In 2004, he was promoted to chief financial officer. In this capacity, he oversees all financial matters of A&B and its subsidiaries. In 2006, he took on the responsibilities of treasurer. In March 2009, Benjamin was appointed general manager of HC&S, responsible for the day-to-day farming and factory operations. Kevin L. Halloran joined Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. in 2006 as director of corporate finance and investor relations. In 2007 he was promoted to vice president, corporate development and investor relations, adding corporate planning functions to his responsibilities. Halloran began his career in investment banking in New York with Bankers Trust Company, where he was active in several large leveraged buyout and merger and acquisition transactions in the mid-1980s. He subsequently worked for PSI Institutional Realty, the investment subsidiary of Public Storage, Inc. In 1990, Halloran co-launched Media Venture Partners, Inc. (MVP), a business development and creative agency that he operated until 2004, during which time he also launched an award-winning business publication - Venture Magazine. In 2007, Son-Jai Paik was named vice president, human resources for Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. He is responsible for all human resources functions for A&B and its subsidiaries, including employee development and training, benefits, and compensation. Paik began his career in human resources in 1998 in CIGNA Corporation's Human Resource Development Program, a rotation-based program aimed at developing future HR leaders. Linda Howe is community relations manager for Alexander & Baldwin, Inc., responsible for the administration of the A&B Foundation, which grants more than $1.5 million each year in Hawaii and on the West Coast. Along with other community programs, she is responsible for A&B's monthly employee newsletter, institutional advertising, and media relations. Linda has been with A&B since 1992, had worked for Pacific Resources, Inc. for seven years and for Stryker Weiner Associates from 1983-1985.

Matt has been the Assistant Controller for Alexander & Baldwin since 2001. Prior to that he was an audit manager with Ernst & Young in the Honolulu office, where he was responsible for the audits of clients in a wide range of industries. Matt first moved to Hawaii in 1982 as a nuclear trained engineer where he was stationed onboard submarines at Pearl Harbor. He left the Navy in 1988 to help start up the H-power plant in Kapolei, Hawaii, while he earned a degree in accounting at Hawaii Pacific University. Following this he accepted a position as an auditor with Ernst & Young. He is currently attending the Executive MBA program at the University of Hawaii. Matt lives with his beautiful wife (Mylin) and baby daughter (Jaylin) in Mililani. I'm excited to be a part of an organization with such a strong history of contribution to the success of agriculture in Hawaii. Although not a farmer, I have a great deal of respect for their hard work and the contributions they make to our communities.

Constance H. Lau was named director, president and CEO of Hawaiian Electric Industries, Inc. (NYSE – HE), holding company for Hawaii’s electric utility and its third largest financial institution in May 2006. This appointment designates her as one of only 20 female chief executives at the helm of a Fortune 1,000 company, and one of fourteen women leading an electric utility in the country. Connie will also chair the board of HE’s electric utility, Hawaiian Electric Company, which provides electric service to 95% of the residents of the state of Hawaii. Connie joined HE in 1984, and has been a valued executive with the Hawaiian Electric Industries companies since then. Before joining the bank, Connie was Treasurer of the parent company, and Assistant Corporate Counsel and Treasurer for Hawaiian Electric Company, as well as Chief Financial Officer of HEI Power Corp., HEI’s international power subsidiary. In late 1999 she became Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of American Savings Bank and became President and CEO in June 2001. She began her career as a corporate attorney in San Francisco and has been involved in finance, law, real estate development, investments and international business. In addition to being recognized nationally by U. S. Banker magazine as one of the top 25 most powerful women in banking, Connie was ranked for the second year in a row in the “Fast Lane” top five for transforming American Savings Bank from a sleepy thrift into a fast-growing player in Hawaii’s business community. She was also named “Business Leader of the Year” at the 2004 Pacific Business News Leadership Hawaii event, a prestigious award in Hawaii’s business community. Connie believes in actively supporting the community and is a trustee or director of several educational and non-profit organizations such as Punahou School, Kamehameha Schools (Hawaii’s largest private landowner), the Hawaii Business Roundtable, Charles Reed Bishop Trust, the Consuelo Zobel Alger Foundation and the Maunalani Foundation.
