Christopher J. Benjamin is senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. and general manager of Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Company, a division of A&B. Benjamin joined A&B in 2001 as director, corporate development and planning, and was promoted to vice president in 2003. In 2004, he was promoted to chief financial officer. In this capacity, he oversees all financial matters of A&B and its subsidiaries. In 2006, he took on the responsibilities of treasurer. In March 2009, Benjamin was appointed general manager of HC&S, responsible for the day-to-day farming and factory operations. Prior to joining A&B, Benjamin held positions with ChannelPoint, Inc., The Queen's Health Systems, Booz Allen Hamilton, Sony Corporation and General Motors. Benjamin is a graduate of the University of Michigan and holds a master's degree in business administration from Harvard Business School. A Hawaii resident since 1992, Benjamin has served in non-profit leadership capacities at the local and national level. Currently he serves on the Board of Directors of the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce, the Institute for Human Services and The Nature Conservancy of Hawaii.

Kevin L. Halloran joined Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. in 2006 as director of corporate finance and investor relations. In 2007 he was promoted to vice president, corporate development and investor relations, adding corporate planning functions to his responsibilities. Halloran began his career in investment banking in New York with Bankers Trust Company, where he was active in several large leveraged buyout and merger and acquisition transactions in the mid-1980s. He subsequently worked for PSI Institutional Realty, the investment subsidiary of Public Storage, Inc. In 1990, Halloran co-launched Media Venture Partners, Inc. (MVP), a business development and creative agency that he operated until 2004, during which time he also launched an award-winning business publication - Venture Magazine. Halloran earned a bachelor's degree in economics (with honors) from Colgate University and completed the Bankers Trust Management Training program, a year-long, MBA-level management program. He has also studied at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute.

Ito joined A&B in April 2005 as director of internal audit; he was named controller on May 1, 2006 and, on April 1, 2007, he was promoted to vice president, controller and assistant treasurer. Previously, Ito worked for Deloitte & Touche for nine years, where in his most recent position, he was a senior manager in the accounting consultation and research group of Deloitte's San Francisco national office. Ito is a certified public accountant and holds both a master's degree of professional accounting with a concentration in managerial accounting from the University of Texas at Austin, and a bachelor's degree in finance and marketing from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Ito has earned several prestigious academic honors including the Elijah Watt Sells Gold Medal Award for obtaining the highest score in the nation on the May 1996 CPA exam.

In 2007, Son-Jai Paik was named vice president, human resources for Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. He is responsible for all human resources functions for A&B and its subsidiaries, including employee development and training, benefits, and compensation. Paik began his career in human resources in 1998 in CIGNA Corporation's Human Resource Development Program, a rotation-based program aimed at developing future HR leaders. In 2000, he joined Cigna International Expatriate Benefits (CIEB) and held a series of positions with increasing responsibility within CIEB before being appointed, in 2003, vice president of human resources for LINA Korea, CIGNA International's largest operation in the Asia Pacific region and the second largest contributor of divisional revenues and earnings worldwide. At LINA Korea, Paik was a strategic partner with business unit executives and oversaw all human resources functions including search and staffing, leadership planning and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations and general HR services. Paik is a graduate of Syracuse University with a bachelor's degree in economics and earned master's degrees from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration and the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.

Linda Howe is community relations manager for Alexander & Baldwin, Inc., responsible for the administration of the A&B Foundation, which grants more than $1.5 million each year in Hawaii and on the West Coast. Along with other community programs, she is responsible for A&B's monthly employee newsletter, institutional advertising, and media relations. Linda has been with A&B since 1992, had worked for Pacific Resources, Inc. for seven years and for Stryker Weiner Associates from 1983-1985.

Matt has been the Assistant Controller for Alexander & Baldwin since 2001. Prior to that he was an audit manager with Ernst & Young in the Honolulu office, where he was responsible for the audits of clients in a wide range of industries. Matt first moved to Hawaii in 1982 as a nuclear trained engineer where he was stationed onboard submarines at Pearl Harbor. He left the Navy in 1988 to help start up the H-power plant in Kapolei, Hawaii, while he earned a degree in accounting at Hawaii Pacific University. Following this he accepted a position as an auditor with Ernst & Young. He is currently attending the Executive MBA program at the University of Hawaii. Matt lives with his beautiful wife (Mylin) and baby daughter (Jaylin) in Mililani. I'm excited to be a part of an organization with such a strong history of contribution to the success of agriculture in Hawaii. Although not a farmer, I have a great deal of respect for their hard work and the contributions they make to our communities.

Constance H. Lau was named director, president and CEO of Hawaiian Electric Industries, Inc. (NYSE – HE), holding company for Hawaii’s electric utility and its third largest financial institution in May 2006. This appointment designates her as one of only 20 female chief executives at the helm of a Fortune 1,000 company, and one of fourteen women leading an electric utility in the country. Connie will also chair the board of HE’s electric utility, Hawaiian Electric Company, which provides electric service to 95% of the residents of the state of Hawaii. In addition to her new role at Hawaiian Electric Industries, Connie will add the title of chairman of the board to her present titles of president and CEO of American Savings Bank, Hawaii’s third largest bank with $6.9 billion in assets, which she has headed since June 2001. Connie is also president of the Hawaii Bankers Association and is ranked #11 in the country in U. S. Banker magazine’s ranking of the 25 Most Powerful Women in Banking in the U. S. Connie joined HE in 1984, and has been a valued executive with the Hawaiian Electric Industries companies since then. Before joining the bank, Connie was Treasurer of the parent company, and Assistant Corporate Counsel and Treasurer for Hawaiian Electric Company, as well as Chief Financial Officer of HEI Power Corp., HEI’s international power subsidiary. In late 1999 she became Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of American Savings Bank and became President and CEO in June 2001. She began her career as a corporate attorney in San Francisco and has been involved in finance, law, real estate development, investments and international business. In addition to being recognized nationally by U. S. Banker magazine as one of the top 25 most powerful women in banking, Connie was ranked for the second year in a row in the “Fast Lane” top five for transforming American Savings Bank from a sleepy thrift into a fast-growing player in Hawaii’s business community. She was also named “Business Leader of the Year” at the 2004 Pacific Business News Leadership Hawaii event, a prestigious award in Hawaii’s business community. Connie believes in actively supporting the community and is a trustee or director of several educational and non-profit organizations such as Punahou School, Kamehameha Schools (Hawaii’s largest private landowner), the Hawaii Business Roundtable, Charles Reed Bishop Trust, the Consuelo Zobel Alger Foundation and the Maunalani Foundation. She is also a board member of Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. (NASDAQ – ALEX). Connie earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Yale University, her juris doctor law degree from the University of California’s Hastings College of Law and received her Master’s in Business Administration from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. She is married to Russell Lau and they have three children.

Mr. Pasquale, 54, was appointed Chairman of the Board in May 2009 and has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company since April 2004 and as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and a Director of the Company since November 2003. Mr. Pasquale served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ARV Assisted Living, an operator of assisted living facilities, from December 1999 to September 2003. From April 2003 to September 2003, Mr. Pasquale concurrently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Atria Senior Living Group. From March 1999 to December 1999, Mr. Pasquale served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at ARV, and he served as the President and Chief Operating Officer at ARV from June 1998 to March 1999. Previously, Mr. Pasquale served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Richfield Hospitality Services, Inc. and Regal Hotels International—North America a hotel ownership and hotel management company from 1996 to 1998, and as its Chief Financial Officer from 1994 to 1996. Mr. Pasquale is a member of the Executive Board of the American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA) and is a director of Alexander & Baldwin, Inc.

Mr. Watanabe graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley and a juris doctor degree from the George Washington University Law Center. In addition to sitting on the boards of a number of for-profit corporations in Hawaii and the mainland U.S., he serves as a trustee on numerous nonprofit boards, including The Sesame Workshop, the Consuelo Foundation and The Nature Conservancy of Hawaii.

Maryanna G. Shaw is a private investor. Shaw has been a director of Alexander & Baldwin Board since 1980. She is a director of the Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum. Shaw received a bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences from Stanford University.
