Anna Korhonen holds an M.A. from Helsinki University and an MLS from Syracuse University. In 1990, she joined Acquisitions Services at Cornell University Library system, which comprises 20 libraries. Currently, she heads Acquisitions Services and also serves as Government Documents Librarian at Olin Library at Cornell. Caroline is currently Head of the Acquisitions Department at the University of Georgia Libraries, 1990 to present. The Acquisitions Dept. purchases and copy catalogs all monographic materials for the UGA collection as well as processes all incoming gift donations made to the Libraries' general collection. Joann Janosko is Assistant Professor and Acquisitions/Serials/Electronic Resources Librarian at Indiana University of Pennsylvania [IUP] where she was awarded tenure in 2005. Bob Holley is Professor of Library & Information Science at Wayne State University, where he teaches collection development and continues to select materials in the Romance Languages for the library. In 2005, he published a research study on the effect of the Internet on the out-of-print book market that found 90-95% availability and significantly lower prices. Bob has been a small, out-of-print, Internet book vendor for almost two years and hopes to join the Alibris team shortly. He has given several presentations and workshops on his research and experiences as an out-of-print vendor and plans to do a second research study on the availability of scholarly materials.
