Mr. Broecker has served as President of Alkermes since January 2002 and Chief Executive Officer since April 2007. From February 2001 until April 2007, Mr. Broecker served as Chief Operating Officer of Alkermes. From August 1985 to January 2001, he was employed at Eli Lilly and Company ( Eli Lilly ), a pharmaceutical company. During his tenure at Eli Lilly, Mr. Broecker managed Eli Lilly s largest pharmaceutical manufacturing facility outside of the U.S., located in Kinsale, Ireland, as General Manager. He also worked as a General Manager in Eli Lilly s packaging and distribution operations in Germany, and Director of Marketing for Advanced Cardiovascular Systems, now a part of Guidant Corporation, a subsidiary of Boston Scientific. Mr. Broecker is also a member of the advisory board for the Center for Integrated Behavioral Health at George Washington University and a trustee of Wabash College.

Elliot Ehrich, M.D., leads the discovery, delivery science, research and development, project management and medical affairs functions at Alkermes. Prior to joining Alkermes in 2000, Elliot spent seven years at Merck & Co., Inc., overseeing the successful clinical development and registration of novel pharmaceuticals. Elliot is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and has had numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. Elliot was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Princeton University where he received a B.A. in Biochemistry. He worked as research associate at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Heidelberg, Germany and later attended Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons where he received an M.D. At Stanford University, Elliot completed a residency in internal medicine and a clinical fellowship in the Department of Immunology and Rheumatology. He was subsequently a postdoctoral research fellow at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at Stanford University School of Medicine, in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology.

Gordon Pugh assumes overall leadership responsibilities for the operations departments at Alkermes, including process development, manufacturing, supply chain management, HSE, information technology and corporate risk management. Additionally, he oversees site management for both the Cambridge, Massachusetts and Wilmington, Ohio facilities. Gordon has over 25 years of operations and manufacturing experience. Prior to working at Alkermes, Gordon served as Vice President of manufacturing operations in the U.S. and Europe at Lonza Biologics, Inc. Gordon received his B.S. in Microbiology from Cornell University, and his M.B.A. from Northeastern University.

Kathy Biberstein serves as Alkermes' in-house General Counsel. Kathy has held many senior legal positions prior to Alkermes, including General Counsel and Member of the Executive Committee at Serono, Inc. in Geneva, Switzerland, where she built a worldwide legal department. While at Serono, she focused on defending and exploiting the company's worldwide patent estate. Kathy also held positions at Crowell & Moring LLP and the World Economic Forum. She received a B.S. from the General Motors Institute and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.

Mike Landine has led Alkermes' corporate development activities since March 1999. From March 1988 until June 1998, he was Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Alkermes. Mike is a member of the Board of Directors of GTC Biotherapeutics, Inc., ECI Biotech and Kopin Corporation, a developer and manufacturer of compound semiconductor components and miniature flat panel displays for use in wireless and consumer electronic products. Mike received a B.S. in Accounting from Bentley College and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Dennis leads the Regulatory Affairs department at Alkermes and provides regulatory strategy and guidance for development candidates and commercial products, and advises the company on government regulations, guidelines, policies, procedures and applications. Prior to joining Alkermes, Dennis held a number of roles in regulatory affairs, including a position as a commissioned officer with the U.S. Public Health Service detailed to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and senior positions at companies such as Sanofi-Aventis, AstraZeneca, Serono, Inc. and Genzyme Corporation. During his 30 years of experience in the field, he has been involved with the submission and approval of over two dozen new drugs. Dennis is a graduate of Fordham University, College of Pharmacy and is a registered pharmacist. He is a member of the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS), Drug Information Association (DIA) and other pharmaceutical educational and professional organizations.

Madeline Coffin manages Alkermes' compensation and benefits, staffing, employee relations and employee and organizational development. Madeline has held a number of senior human resource positions at companies including Analog Devices, Inc., Sun Microsystems, Inc., Wang Software, Inc., and Bay Networks, Inc. Prior to joining Alkermes, she founded her own company, which focused on the strategic human resource needs of growing companies for clients ranging from technology to financial services. She holds a B.A. from Penn State University and a Masters of Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.

Mike Giorgetti is responsible for the development and implementation of quality systems to assure that Alkermes produces quality products that meet the requirements of regulatory agencies. Previously, Mike worked at Baxter Healthcare Corporation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance. He holds a B.S. in Biology from Boston College and an M.B.A. from Babson College.

Dr. Rich is a founder of Alkermes and has been a director of Alkermes since 1987. Dr. Rich has been a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology since 1958, and is the William Thompson Sedgwick Professor of Biophysics and Biochemistry. Dr. Rich earned both an A.B. (magna cum laude) and an M.D. (cum laude) from Harvard University. Dr. Rich is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Institute of Medicine. Dr. Rich is Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Repligen Corporation, Inc. and a member of the Board of Directors for Profectus Biosciences, Inc.

Dr. Bloom is a founder of Alkermes and has been a director of Alkermes since 1987. Dr. Bloom has been active in neuropharmacology for more than 35 years, holding positions at Yale University, the National Institute of Mental Health and The Salk Institute. From 1983 to February 2005, Dr. Bloom was the Chairman of the Neuropharmacology Department at The Scripps Research Institute and is currently Professor Emeritus. Dr. Bloom served as Editor-in-Chief of Science from 1995 to May 2000. He holds an A.B. (Phi Beta Kappa) from Southern Methodist University and an M.D. (Alpha Omega Alpha) from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He is a member of the National Academy of Science, the Institute of Medicine, the Royal Swedish Academy of Science, the President's Council on Bioethics, Veteran's Administration - Gulf War Veteran Illness and the Washington University Board of Trustees. Dr. Bloom also serves on the Board of Directors of Elan Pharmaceuticals and the Scientific Advisory Boards of MiddleBrook Pharmaceuticals and RxGen.

Mr. Wall is a founder of Alkermes and has been Chairman of the Board of Alkermes since 1987. From April 1992 until June 1993, he was a director and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Centocor, Inc. From November 1987 to June 1993, he was Chairman Emeritus of Centocor.

Mr. Skaletsky has been a director of Alkermes since June 2004. He is currently Chairman, CEO and President of Trine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Previously, Mr. Skaletsky was President and CEO of GelTex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. which was acquired by Genzyme in December 2000. Mr. Skaletsky held the position of Chairman and CEO of Enzytech, Inc., from 1988 to 1993, and he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Biogen, Inc., from 1981 to 1988. Mr. Skaletsky was among the founders of the Industrial Biotechnology Association, a predecessor to the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), and is a former chairman of BIO. He serves on the Board of Directors of ImmunoGen, Inc., Dormantis, Inc., Advanced Magnetics, Inc, Targacept, Inc., and Icoria, Inc. In addition, Mr. Skaletsky is a member of the Board of Trustees of Bentley College.

Dr. Schimmel is a scientific founder of Alnylam and has served as a member of our board of directors since June 2002. Dr. Schimmel has been the Ernest and Jean Hahn Professor of Molecular Biology and Chemistry and a member of the Skaggs Institute for Chemical Biology at the Scripps Research Institute since 1997. Dr. Schimmel is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Medicine and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Ginger M. More is currently a Special Limited Partner of Oak Investment Partners ( Oak ) and had been a General Partner or Managing Member since 1980. Oak has raised ten venture capital partnerships with a total of $4.2 billion in committed capital. Oak has sponsored over 350 companies with aggregate annual revenues in excess of $100 billion. Oak s most recent fund, Oak X, was closed on February 28, 2001 with a total capitalization of $1.6 billion. Ginger joined Oak at its inception in 1978 after ten years at Wright Investor's Service. She has sponsored investments in and/or served on the boards of numerous healthcare and information technology companies including the following publicly-traded companies, Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Alkermes, Inc., Compaq Computer Corporation, Dyax Corporation, Esperion Therapeutics, Inc., Genzyme Corporation, Octel Communications Corporation, OraPharma, Inc., Osteotech Inc., Pharmacopeia, Inc. and Ribozyme Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Ginger studied Mathematics at the University of Bridgeport and became a Chartered Financial Analyst in 1978.
