Mr. Broecker has served as President of Alkermes since January 2002 and Chief Executive Officer since April 2007. From February 2001 until April 2007, Mr. Broecker served as Chief Operating Officer of Alkermes. Elliot Ehrich, M.D., leads the discovery, delivery science, research and development, project management and medical affairs functions at Alkermes. Prior to joining Alkermes in 2000, Elliot spent seven years at Merck & Co., Inc., overseeing the successful clinical development and registration of novel pharmaceuticals. Elliot is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and has had numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Bloom is a founder of Alkermes and has been a director of Alkermes since 1987.
