Dick Anderson oversees Allegiance Telecom's entire network operation, from initial planning to implementation and maintenance. He is one of the founders of Allegiance Telecom and previously served as the company's vice president of network planning. Before joining Allegiance, Anderson was with Metropolitan Fiber Systems (MFS), planning and supervising the carrier's roll-out of several new markets. Prior to MFS, he held various planning, engineering and operations positions with Wisconsin Telephone Co. and Ameritech Services. His experience spans 39 years in the telecommunications industry with both incumbent and competitive carriers. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in liberal arts from DePaul University in Chicago.
Akber Khan is responsible for overseeing Allegiance Telecom's sales and operations in the Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Minneapolis, Northern New Jersey, Boston, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh offices. He is based in Allegiance's Chicago office. Most recently, Khan served as Allegiance Telecom's Northeast regional vice president based in New York. Before joining Allegiance, he held management positions at Winstar Communications, Inc. and WorldCom. Prior to that, Khan was with MFS Communications in Chicago. He earned his bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of California at Berkeley.
As pacific southwest regional vice president, Kathleen Smith is responsible for Allegiance Telecom's sales to small and medium-sized businesses in the Los Angeles, Orange County, Phoenix, San Diego and Denver markets. Prior to joining Allegiance Telecom as city vice president for Los Angeles, Smith served as vice president and general manager in the Los Angeles office of Winstar Communications, Inc. She previously held management and sales positions at other telecommunications firms. Smith earned her bachelor of arts degree in social science from California Polytechnic University in Pomona and did graduate work at California State University in Los Angeles.

Matt Fassnacht oversees Allegiance Telecom sales efforts for the Northwest U.S. region, including existing Allegiance operations in San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose and Seattle and an office to be opened in Portland, Ore. Most recently, Fassnacht served as Allegiance city vice president, responsible for sales and operations in Oakland and San Jose. Previously, he served as a vice president and general manager for Teligent Inc., based in Vienna, Va. Prior to that, Fassnacht served as western U.S. regional manager for the alternate channels division of Sprint Communications, where his work was recognized with a President's Club award.

Doug Davis is CTO of HyperCube and has over twenty years of technical, business operations and management experience in hyper-growth companies. Doug worked as a software engineer during the 1980s transitioning to management when he worked as Director of Computer Operations for Southern Methodist University. Doug help to start Internet America (NASDAQ GEEK)--a large regional ISP. Doug was Chief Technical Officer of Internet America and its Chief Operating Officer until he left Internet America in 1999 to help start Digital Convergence. Doug joined Allegiance Telecom in January 2001. His initial tasks were integration of the IBI assets (and the other acquired entities of ALGX). In the process of this effort, the NOCs and Operations groups were integrated across the company. As the head of Operations for Allegiance his duties also included oversight of the Network Operations Center, Field Operations, Network Security, Network Implementation and the SS7 groups. Doug served as chairman of the NRIC VI Broadband group 2002-2004, he is a member of the North Texas Task force on Computer Crimes, in the past he has worked for the open loops collision and the the IEEE Communications advisory committee for broadband. A devoted father and family man, he is also an avid bicyclist, and holds two records for long distance cycling. He was a past President of the Greater Dallas Bicyclists, the Texas Bicycling Coalitions PSA advisory board, and is ranked Grand Master in USPSA open division. Doug was also a co-star of the nationally syndicated Radio and Television show "Net Talk Live" whose run was just over 5 years covering 231 markets in 11 countries.

Matthew Haentzschel joined WBS Connect as the director of sales in 2006. In this role, Matt leads the WBS Connect management team in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies across all channels. Prior to joining WBS Connect, Matt was a leading force in the Carrier Sales Division of Cogent Communications where he led and managed the sales of the organization and initiated network development and expansion. Reed E. Hundt is an advisor on information industries to McKinsey and Company, a worldwide management consulting firm. His work with McKinsey has focused on helping senior management and boards address a wide range of strategic and other leadership challenges. He also serves on the board of directors of three publicly traded companies, Allegiance Telecom, Inc., Expedia, and Intel Corp. He is a special advisor to Blackstone Group, a New York-based private equity firm, and a venture partner at Benchmark Capital, a venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, California, specializing in investments in high-tech companies. He teaches a seminar cross-listed at the Yale Law School and the Yale School of Management, where he serves as a member of the advisory committee. Hundt served four years as Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), from 1993 to 1997. He also helped negotiate the World Trade Organization Telecommunications agreement, opening markets in 69 countries to competition and dropping barriers to foreign investment. He is especially proud of his role in making the largest single national commitment to K-12 education in America's history: the Snowe-Rockefeller program that dedicates more than $2 billion annually to connect all classrooms in the country to the Internet. Hundt is the author of, "You Say You Want A Revolution: A Story of Information Age Politics." (Yale University Press, 2000). He has also been Co-Chairman of The Forum on Communications and Society at The Aspen Institute.
