Michael F. Frisch has served as our senior vice president, southeast region, since September 2004, and as regional vice president, mid-atlantic region from November 2002 to August 2004. Mr. Frisch was promoted to the position of executive vice president and chief operating officer effective January 5, 2007. From January 1999 through October 2002, Mr. Frisch served as senior vice president-regional operations of American Dental Partners, a dental practice management company.

Richard J. Hall joined the company as President of Alliance Oncology in November 2008. Mr. Hall's extensive healthcare background includes more than 25 years experience in both the public and private sectors, including approximately four years as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for US Oncology, the nation's largest oncology services provider. Mr. Hall began his career with American Hospital Supply and has also held senior leadership positions with General Medical Corporation, McKesson Corporation, PatientKeeper , and BrightStar Healthcare .

Howard K. Aihara has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Alliance Imaging since 2005. Mr. Aihara joined Alliance in 2000 as Vice President and Corporate Controller. From 1997 through 2000, he was Vice President, finance, for UniMed Management Company, a physician practice management company. From 1995 through 1997, he was Executive Director and Corporate Controller for AHI Healthcare Systems, Inc. Mr. Aihara began his career at Ernst and Young, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mark Carol, M.D., joined the company as Chief Medical Officer in November 2008. Dr. Carol is an industry veteran with more than 20 years experience in radiation oncology. Although he is a neurosurgeon by training, he followed his passion for research and innovation early in his career by founding and serving as President and Chief Technology Officer and eventually Chief Executive Officer of his own medical device company that developed and sold novel technology for use in neurosurgery and radiation therapy. In 1993, this company became known as NOMOS Corporation, where Dr. Carol pioneered the development and clinical application of intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and image guided radiation therapy (IGRT). Dr. Carol has published in the fields of radiation therapy and neurosurgery, holds patents in radiation therapy, neurosurgery and cardiology, and has been elected to honorary membership in the American Association of Physicists in Medicine. He recently was the inaugural recipient of the Ira Sohn Conference Foundation Prize in Pediatric Oncology, part of the Gotham prize, for his innovative ideas in the field of radiation therapy. Dr. Carol earned a bachelor's degree as an Independent Scholar from Amherst College, an M.D. with distinction in research from the University of Rochester, and served his residency in neurosurgery and a fellowship in trauma at the University of Maryland.

Lisa Price has served as the Senior Vice President of the Central region since January 2007. Ms. Price's healthcare career spans more than 23 years within the diagnostic medical services industry, with leadership positions in both Sales and Operations. Prior to joining Alliance, Ms. Price served in numerous leadership positions at Quest Diagnostics Inc. from 1986 through 2007.

Michael K. Tanner was appointed to the position of Senior Vice President for the Southeast region in December of 2008. He joined Alliance in December of 2006 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Southeast. Mr. Tanner's extensive healthcare background includes 22 years experience in public and private companies, primarily in sales and sales management roles in the medical imaging OEM arena with Philips Medical Systems and Adac Laboratories. At Adac, he served as Vice President of Sales in the Southeast region as well as Regional Manager for Philips Medical Systems in the Carolinas.

Michael Tuccio is the Senior Vice President of New Business, supporting Alliance Imaging as well as Alliance Oncology. Until his promotion in October of 2008, he held the position of Senior Vice President of Alliance Imaging's Northeast region. Mr. Tuccio started his career in the diagnostic imaging industry more than 38 years ago, marketing Picker Corporation's nuclear, ultrasound and clinical lab products. In 1980, he went to work for Corometrics Medical Systems and expanded his career to include sales for medical products as well as marketing, holding the positions of Director of Marketing Services, Eastern Regional Sales Manager, and Mid Atlantic Director of Sales. In January 1994, he joined Mobile Technology, Inc. (MTI) where he led the Northeast region. He joined Alliance in March of 1998 as part of Alliance's acquisition of MTI.

Rich Jones was appointed to Senior Vice President of the Northeast region in October 2008. He has been with Alliance since 1996, originally serving as Regional Operations Manager, then Vice President of Business Development and then as the Vice President of Operations for the Northeast region. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Jones held a number of leadership roles in hospitals and the commercial healthcare sector.

Tim Henning has served as the Senior Vice President of the West region since August 2006. Mr. Henning's healthcare career spans more than 30 years within the diagnostic imaging industry, and he has held both domestic and international executive positions. Prior to joining Alliance, Mr. Henning served in numerous senior leadership roles at ADAC Laboratories from 1988 2000 and with Philips Medical Systems, post acquisition, from 2000- 2006.

Mr. Bendikson is a senior vice president at Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. where he focuses on executing and sourcing leveraged/management buyouts, expansion capital investments and corporate restructurings. He dedicates a significant portion of his time to the Healthcare, Gaming and Business Services sectors. Prior to joining Oaktree in 2005, Mr. Bendikson served as a Principal with Soros Fund Management's private equity affiliate. Before joining Soros in 1999, Mr. Bendikson was an investment banker within J.P. Morgan & Co.'s Mergers & Acquisitions department. He received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. degree cum laude in Economics and History from the University of California at Los Angeles, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Pursuant to a Governance and Standstill Agreement, Oaktree and MTS currently collectively have the right to designate three persons to our Board of Directors, and Mr. Bendikson is one of those designees.

Kenneth W. Freeman is Executive Chairman of Accellent Inc. Shortly after joining Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. as Managing Director in May 2005, he was also appointed Chairman and CEO of Masonite International, a KKR portfolio company. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Freeman served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, the nation's leading provider of diagnostic testing, for nine years. He led Quest Diagnostics from the company's spin-off in 1996 through 2004. During that time he created exceptional value for shareholders, executed a dramatic financial turnaround, established industry leadership, and demonstrated effective growth through acquisition, with subsequent organic growth. Quest Diagnostics provided the third highest five-year shareholder returns among the Fortune 500 (1999-2003) and in 2003 and 2004 was named to the Business Week 50. Market capitalization increased from $350 million to more than $9 billion. In 2004, as part of a planned and orderly succession process, he passed the Chairman and CEO position on to his groomed successor. Mr. Freeman received a B.S. degree from Bucknell University, and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School. He is a director of Accellent Inc., Alliance Imaging, and Masonite International, a trustee of Bucknell University, and an Executive in Residence at the Columbia Business School. He is past chairman of the American Clinical Laboratory Association and served as lead director of TRW until it merged with Northrop Grumman Corp. in December 2002. Mr. Freeman served on the 2004 National Association of Corporate Directors Blue Ribbon Commission on Board Leadership and his thoughts on CEO succession planning, driving profitable growth, the importance of values, and executing turnarounds have been featured in the Harvard Business Review and Strategy + Business, and in addresses to business and academic leaders.

Stephen A. Kaplan has served as a director of the Company since May 2001. Since 1995, Mr. Kaplan has been a principal and portfolio manager of Oaktree Capital Management, LLC, a private investment management firm, where he co-manages Oaktree's Principal Activities Group which invests in majority and significant minority positions in both private and public companies. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Kaplan was a Managing Director of Trust Company of the West. Prior to joining the Trust Company of the West, Mr. Kaplan was a partner of the law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Mr. Kaplan currently serves as a director of Regal Entertainment Group, a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, Genco Shipping & Trading Limited, a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange and numerous private companies.
