Cary Brinkley is Vice President of Human Resources for Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America. In this role, Cary oversees and drives the full range of the enterprise's human resources initiatives and objectives for Allianz Life. She leads the AZL human resources (HR) leadership and drives HR initiatives such as performance management, change management, total compensation and benefits, employee relations, talent acquisition, training & development and maximizing employee performance. Prior to joining Allianz in 2006, Cary was the Director of Human Resources for Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. (OSUP) in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, Cary successfully aligned 32 separate practice plans into one business plan, which created synergy among the three-part OSU Medical Center (OSUMC). In addition, she developed and implemented strategic initiatives that maximized the productivity of existing resources while planning for the future state of the business. Cary also established the Human Capital Committee, which restructured roles, processes, and performance in order to ensure that employees were achieving their full potential. Before that, Cary Managed Leadership and Organizational Development of The Limited, Inc., Logistics Services where she led the organizational development initiatives for the Limited Brands sales and distribution centers. Cary has a Masters Degree from Marquette University in Clinical Sociology and a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Effectiveness.
