"John J. Marcello is the Chief Executive Officer and President of The Allied Defense Group. His military background, combined with his experience at MECAR S.A., have prepared him for the challenge of running The Allied Defense Group and propelling the Company to new strategic levels.
Major General Marcello is a native of Cranston, Rhode Island. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, in New York, NY in 1970 as a field artillery officer and served for 32 years in the US Army, retiring in July of 2002 in the rank of Major General.
Major General Marcello’s military service included tours of duty in Germany, Korea, Saudi Arabia, and the United States, with more than 10 years as a paratrooper in the 82d Airborne Division. He was the Director of Plans for the XVIII Airborne Corps during the first Gulf War and later the Senior Defense Representative to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. His last assignment was as Commanding General of the US Army’s Test and Evaluation Command with headquarters in Washington, DC.
Most recently, Major General Marcello was Managing Director of MECAR S.A., a subsidiary of The Allied Defense Group, and an independent Belgian engineering and armaments company, established in 1938. It manufactures a comprehensive range of ammunition including hand grenades, bullet trap universal rifle grenades (BTU), 81mm and 120mm mortars and various calibers of tank ammunition. MECAR's factory is located at Petit-Roeulx-lez-Nivelles, 35km south of Brussels.
Major General Marcello’s education includes a Master of Sciences in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University and a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategy from the US Naval War College.

John G. Meyer, Jr., (Major General (Ret)), age 64, became a director in January 2003 when he was also elected as President of the Company. He also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company. He succeeded General Peay as the CEO on June 1, 2003 and served in that position until June 2005. From June 2005 through August 2007, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Heckler & Koch, a defense contractor. Mr. Meyer is currently a private investor. Mr. Meyer previously retired from the U.S. Army having served as its most senior Public Affairs Officer during his last four years of military service.

Chuck Hasper provides the seasoned financial skills that are helping power The Allied Defense Group as it moves towards greater growth and profitability. He has over 20 years of both domestic and international experience in mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, government contracting, corporate financial reporting and financial accounting systems.
Prior to joining Allied Defense Group, Chuck was the Washington partner for Carroll-Kapfhamer Capital Partners LLC, responsible for uncovering investment opportunities, and directing and managing complex financial transactions. Previously, Chuck was the Acting CFO, Controller and Vice President of finance for Government Technology Services, Inc. - a $600 million information technology firm. His financial management background includes financial management positions at, AlliedSignal, Decision Systems Technologies, Inc. Unisys and Shell Oil - both in domestic and international operations.
He holds a BS degree in accounting, with honors, from West Liberty State College and an MBA from the University of Maryland. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Ms. Ricci brings a strong manufacturing and financial management background to the Company. In addition, she has over ten years of public markets financial experience. Ms. Ricci joined the Company in May 2006 as Corporate Controller and in 2007 was promoted to Chief Financial Officer. She has held senior financial management positions as Chief Financial Officer of Hemagen Diagnostics, Inc., Chief Financial Officer of J.E. Morgan Knitting Mills, Inc. and Vice President of Finance and Administration at Schonstedt Instrument Company. Ms. Ricci began her career at KPMG. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Bentley College and MBA from the University of Pittsburgh with a concentration in Strategic Planning.
"Colonel Pickens is an exceptional addition to The Allied Defense Group. He brings with him twenty-four years of military experience, as well as eleven years of business exposure, including nine years with a publicly traded company (what Company?)
His Army career includes service as an infantry and military police officer, where he interfaced with law enforcement organizations on multiple levels. During Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Colonel Pickens served as the Army’s Director of Family Support. He retired in 1992 as Executive to the Under Secretary of the Army.
Following his retirement, Colonel Pickens served as Director of Human Resources for the Diamond Power Specialty Company. In 1994, he assumed responsibility as Director, Human Resources, Safety and Security, for the T. Marzetti Company in Columbus, Ohio, where he was promoted to Vice President in 1996.
Colonel Pickens attended the Marine Corps Amphibious Warfare School, The Command and General Staff College, the FBI National Academy, and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. He graduated from West Virginia University, from where he was initially commissioned in 1967 and earned his Master’s Degree from American University in Washington, D.C., in 1973. Colonel Pickens is married with two adult children and four grandchildren.

"Wayne Hosking has over 15 years experience in engineering and technology. He is an experienced general manager with strong sales, operational, and financial skills, with particular expertise in business development. He brings a unique combination of knowledge in government contracts, legislative affairs, and management systems.
Prior to joining The Allied Defense Group, Wayne was the Vice President of Sales and General Counsel for Horne Engineering Services, an engineering firm focused on National Security, Energy & Environment, and Transportation. He has held leadership positions in sales and marketing at corporate and business unit levels in management consulting, and engineering & construction.
Wayne holds a BA degree from Franklin & Marshall College. He completed graduate work at University of Denver School of Law, St. Annes College Oxford, Pennsylvania State University, and West Chester University of Pennsylvania. He is admitted to practice law in Colorado, the District of Columbia, and the United States Court of Appeals. "

Gil Decker is Executive Vice President, Engineering & Production for Walt Disney Imagineering. Mr. Decker joined Walt Disney Imagineering in May 1999. He oversees all Engineering, Production, Manufacturing, and asset Sustainment disciplines. Prior to joining Disney, Gil was a private consultant to various high-tech electronics and aerospace companies, a visiting lecturer and member of the Executive Institute of Defense Systems Management College. He is a director of two high-tech information systems companies and one NYSE manufacturing company. Mr. Decker was appointed by the President of the United States to serve from 1994-1997 as Assistant Secretary of the Army, Research, and Development & Acquisition; where he was responsible for all research, development and procurement of systems and equipment required by the U.S. Army. He has served as a Captain in the U.S. Army and a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve. In 1997 Mr. Decker received the Distinguished Civilian Service Award from both the Department of the Army and the Secretary of Defense. He has also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Acurex Corporation, Penn Central Federal Systems Company and ESL Incorporated.

Ronald H. Griffith, (General (Ret.)), age 70, became a director of Allied in April 2000. Mr. Griffith is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of MPRI, Inc., a professional services company, since 1998. Formerly, he served as Vice Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army.
Mr. Wasserman is currently a financial management consultant. Until December 31, 2006, Mr. Wasserman was the Chief Operating/Financial Officer of Mitchell & Ness Nostalgia Co., a privately-held manufacturer and distributor of licensed sportswear and authentic team apparel. Prior to Mitchell & Ness, Mr. Wasserman served as the President of Goebel of North America, a U.S. subsidiary of the German specialty gift maker, from 2001 to 2005. Mr. Wasserman also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Goebel of North America in 2001. Mr. Wasserman also serves as a director of Acme Communications, Inc., TeamStaff, Inc. and Allied Defense Group, Inc.

"Warner has over forty-five years of business and military experience. After graduating from the Virginia Military Institute (VMI), Mr. Warner worked for several years in the banking industry while serving as an officer in the United States Army Reserve. He held several positions with State Planters Bank, now SunTrust Bank, and served as Executive Vice President and Director of Metropolitan National Bank, now First Union Bank, in Richmond, Virginia.
In 1971, Mr. Warner accepted the position as President and Director of TRANSOHIO Financial Corporation, a publicly held financial services firm traded on the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Warner stayed with TRANSOHIO until 1978.
For the twelve years following his service with TRANSOHIO, Mr. Warner held the position of Executive Vice President of the VMI Foundation and Executive Director of the VMI Development Board in Lexington, Virginia. Upon his retirement, he settled in Lexington and worked as a financial and fund raising consultant, investor, and real estate developer.
In early 2003, Mr. Warner was asked to serve as President of the George C. Marshall Foundation, where he remains today.
In addition to earning the honor of Valedictorian of his class at VMI, Mr. Warner holds a Masters in Business Administration from Rutgers University. He serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board for The New Market Fund, as well as holding directorships with Chesapeake Corporation and The Allied Defense Group.
Mr. Warner is married to former Mary Elizabeth Patrick. They have four children and five grandchildren.

"Dr. Jay R. Sculley is President of Aviation, Navigation and Satellite Programs (ANSP), which has been instrumental with the successful fielding of next generation communication and navigation technologies used to modernize the National Airspace System. During his tenure as President, he has developed a strategic plan to increase profitability of the company and led the effort to replace ANSP on the team of two high revenue producing projects.
Prior to his position at ANSP, Dr. Sculley was Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of The Allied Defense Group, where he currently serves as Chairman Emeritus.
From 1992 to 1999, Dr. Sculley was Director of Advanced Studies and Technologies at Grumman Corporation and prior to that, served as Assistant Secretary of the Army for Research, Development, and Acquisition.
In addition, Dr. Sculley has a long standing history of service to the Virginia Military Institute, where he was a professor and Dean of the Department of Civil Engineering for eleven years. Dr. Sculley is also an alumnus of VMI, where he earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering. Dr. Sculley also has his M.S.E., Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Sculley and his wife, Peggy Lee, have two children.

"Tassos Recachinas is currently the Managing Member of Sophis Investments LLC, an investment advisor to several investment funds pursuing fundamental, value investing.
Mr. Recachinas previously served as Senior Investment Analyst at Pirate Capital LLC, a well known value and activist/event-driven hedge fund, which he left to start Sophis Investments. At Pirate Capital, Mr. Recachinas worked alongside the portfolio manager and was responsible for overseeing all equity, debt & derivative investments in four fund portfolios. Pirate Capital was previously the largest shareholder of The Allied Defense Group, and in conjunction with Pirate’s investment and Board position with The Allied Defense Group, Mr. Recachinas has spent a considerable amount of time at The Allied Defense Group’s various facilities working with management and the company’s advisors.
During his activist investing tenure, Mr. Recachinas worked very closely with several company Boards, management teams and other strategic advisors of large, publicly traded companies, with whom he helped plan corporate strategy with the ultimate goal of maximizing shareholder value.
Previously, Mr. Recachinas served as an Equity Research Associate at Raymond James & Associates, where he provided research coverage on various defense and technology companies.
Mr. Recachinas graduated Summa-Cum-Laude and first in his class in the Aerospace Engineering Program from the George Washington University in 2005. Mr. Recachinas is also a Pembroke Scholar, having studied engineering and economics on scholarship at Oxford University in England.
