Altigen Communications Inc.

AltiGen Communications was founded in May, 1994 by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Gilbert Hu, who has a history of bringing new technologies to market. Prior to AltiGen, Mr. Hu was founder, President, and CEO of Centrum Communications, a pioneer in the remote networking industry, which was acquired by 3Com Corp. in early 1994. Mr. Hu has also served in technical and managerial roles at Vitalink Corp., Convergent Technologies, and Luxcom. He earned an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from National Chiao-Tung University in Taiwan.

Jeremiah Fleming, AltiGen's President and Chief Operating Officer hails from Interactive Intelligence, Inc. where he served in an executive management capacity for the past ten years. When the company launched its Vonexus subsidiary in 2004 to focus on Microsoft-based IP communications solutions, Mr. Fleming was appointed President of Vonexus. In that role, he was responsible for corporate strategy, management, business development and overall financial performance. Mr. Fleming originally joined Interactive Intelligence, Inc. in 1997 as Vice President of Sales to drive the inaugural launch of the Company's enterprise communications software. Following the Interactive Intelligence's 1999 initial public offering, Mr. Fleming was promoted to Executive Vice President of Sales for the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Previously, he spent five years Software Artistry in various management positions, including Vice President, Domestic Sales from January 1995 to February 1997. Mr. Fleming holds both B.A and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Missouri.

Philip M. McDermott, AltiGen's Chief Financial Officer, served as Director of Finance America Sales for 3Com Corp. from 1995 to June 1999. Mr. McDermott has also held the position of VP of Finance, Operations, and Administration for Chipcom Corp. Prior to Chipcom, Mr. McDermott served as CFO for four years at David Systems Inc. and has also held executive positions with Prentice Corp. and Northern Telecom. He received certified Management Account accreditation from the Society of Management Accounting in Montreal, Canada

Prior to joining AltiGen, Mr. Kays served as vice president of sales at Dallas-based Alliance Systems. Under his leadership, Alliance grew to over $100 million in annual revenues. In developing a channel sales model as Alliance’s primary growth strategy, Jeff built a global partner network supporting the enterprise telephony, call center, unified communications and carrier markets. Prior to joining Alliance Systems, he served as director of new business development at National Health Enhancement Systems, a publicly traded software company and vice president of sales for VS3, a Phoenix-based developer of enterprise voice messaging systems. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri.

Mike Plumer is AltiGen's Vice President of Sales. He is responsible for all reseller channel sales activities worldwide. Mr. Plumer joined AltiGen in 1996 and has been instrumental in developing AltiGen's sales channel in the growing IP Telephony equipment market. Prior to serving as VP of Sales, Mr. Plumer held the postions of Senior Director of National Sales and Eastern Regional Manager. Mike holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Public Relations from Iowa State University.

Shirley Sun is the Vice President of Research and Development for AltiGen. Prior to her role, Ms. Sun was the Director of IP Telephony for AltiGen. She has also held a management position in software development for a remote server access product line at 3Com Corp. Before her role at 3Com, Ms. Sun was the cofounder and Engineering Manager for Centrum Communications, Inc. Ms. Sun was a key contributor to the design, architecture, and building of the remote access server product from ground up. She has also held technical positions Novell and Vitalink Communications. Ms. Sun earned her MS in Computer Science from Utah State University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from National Central University in Taiwan.

Simon Chouldjian, Vice President of Hardware Engineering, joined AltiGen after serving as founder and VP of Engineering at Luxcom Inc. Mr. Chouldjian held design engineering and managerial positions for several years at Hewlett-Packard and TRW. He received his MS in Electrical Engineering form Stanford University and his BS in Electrical Engineering from UC Berkeley.
