JOHN TAYLOR GATTO was a schoolteacher for 30 years, winning several awards in the State of New York for his compassionate insightful, and extraordinary teaching style. Stumbling upon a trail of information that led him to discover the ulterior purpose behind our compulsory educational system, he concluded that schools were in fact dangerous places for children. In protest of what he considered to be a corrupt and incorrigible educational system he gave up his successful and highly acclaimed teaching career and began to speak out about the true purpose behind compulsory schooling. Anthony Fragomeni has been a Board Member since 1996. He has Chaired State Relations,Accreditation,and Government Relations Committees. He represented AACS during Negotiated Rulemaking with the Department of Education. Tony is the former President of New York Sate Beauty Schools Association. He is also Very active coaching youth sports, most recently coached his sons 12yo baseball All Star team to a New York State Championship.

Deborah Dunn currently owns the Lancaster School of Cosmetology. Over her 27 years in private career schools, she has also been a member of the Career College Association Board and served as Government Relations Chair and on the Executive Committee. She has been the President of the Pennsylvania state association and after 10 years is once again an officer of that Board.

Mr. Nash is currently the President of Vogue School of Beauty Culture, Inc., with four locations in Northern Indiana. During the last 18 years, he has worked at every level in Vogue's organization giving him the ability to manage the complexities of operating multiple beauty locations.

Kim McIntosh, is President and partner of Xenon Int'l. School in Wichita, Kansas. She is Executive Director of Xenon schools located in the Midwest. She has been in the education segment of the beauty industry for fifteen years. Kim holds a Cosmetology, Esthetics and Instructor's license in Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri. She is currently chair of Cosmetology Educators of America, serves as a Director on the American Association of Cosmetology Schools as well as sits on the Pivot Point Int'l. Owner's Advisory Board.

Kim Schottler is currently the Director of Industry Relations for Great Clips, Inc. Great Clips is the largest single salon brand in the world with over 2600 salons.

Nancy Lease is currently the Director of Academy Services and Compliance for Pivot Point International Academy. Pivot Point International's World headquarters are located in Evanston, Illinois. Nancy's professional career has brought her through various aspects of Higher Education. She got her start in the 4 year/Degree Granting sector and effectively transitioned to proprietary schools 18 years ago. Nancy has worked in both private Non-Title IV schools as well as Title IV schools and has worked in both single as well as multiple school settings. Nancy's interest in the law has been a driving force for her professional career. Professional Affiliations include: Board Member - Illinois Association of Cosmetology Schools, Board Member Private Career Colleges and Schools, Region V, Member - Cosmetology Educators of American, and Vice President - The American Association of Cosmetology Schools. In her spare time, Nancy enjoys travel and spending time with her two children.

RoseAnn has had a varied career in the cosmotology industry for over 20 years. She has been a licensed cosmetologist, educator, platform artist, Regional Director and currently represents Regis Corporation and over 11,000 salons. RoseAnn's life long goal is to find innovative ways to enhance the image of cosmetology.

Sally is one of the country's leading authorities on Federal financial aid administration with more than 27 years of "in the trenches" experience. As a respected Industry leader, she is frequently called upon to speak at School, Accrediting, Regional and State conferences as well as to act as school liaison during program reviews and state compliance audits. Having processed, reviewed and taught financial aid for over 27 years Sally's experience includes representation at over 200 program reviews and certification visits for postsecondary institutions. In addition, Sally is also certified to teach both basic and advanced financial aid programs in the State of California. Sally's brings real life experiences, observations and illustrations to her audience, adding a touch of humor to regulatory compliance. Her style makes the sometime complex topics easy to understand and audiences always come away with practical knowledge that they can apply to their every day situations. Sally is a board member for PCCS Region IV, a member of NASFAA and a member of FAME's Senior Management Board.
