Mr. Chenault joined the company in September 1981 as Director of Strategic Planning. He was named President of the Consumer Card Group in 1989, and in 1993 he became President of Travel Related Services (TRS), which encompassed all of American Express' card and travel businesses in the United States. In 1995, he assumed additional responsibility for the company's worldwide card and travel businesses and also was named Vice Chairman of American Express. Mr. Chenault became President and Chief Operating Officer in February 1997. He assumed his current responsibilities as CEO on January 1, 2001, and as Chairman on April 23 of that year.
Before he came to American Express, Mr. Chenault was a management consultant with Bain & Co. from 1979 to 1981, and an attorney with Rogers & Wells from 1977 to 1979.
Mr. Chenault serves on the boards of American Express and several other corporate and nonprofit organizations, including IBM, the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health, the National Center on Addiction & Substance Abuse at Columbia University, the Smithsonian Institution's Advisory Council for the National Museum of African American History & Culture, the Phoenix House Foundation and the World Trade Center Memorial Foundation. He also is on the boards of the Partnership for New York City, The Business Council and the Business Roundtable and serves as Vice Chairman of each of these organizations.
A wide variety of civic, social service and community organizations have recognized Mr. Chenault for his public service leadership. He has received the Phoenix House Public Service Award, the Corporate Responsibility Award from the International Rescue Committee and the Wall Street Rising Leadership Award, among others. In addition, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Mr. Chenault holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA in history from Bowdoin College, and he has received a number of honorary degrees.
He and his wife, Kathryn, live in New York with their two children.

Alfred F. Kelly, Jr. is President of American Express Company, a position he assumed in June 2007. As President, Mr. Kelly works closely with the company’s Chairman and CEO on developing the strategic direction for American Express and determining key policies affecting the company overall. He also has day-to-day responsibility for the company’s global consumer businesses, which include consumer and small business cards, customer service, global banking, prepaid products, consumer travel, and risk and information management.
Prior to this role, Mr. Kelly served as one of two Group Presidents at American Express, overseeing a number of key businesses, including: U.S. consumer and small business cards, U.S. customer service, U.S. consumer travel, the North American merchant network, prepaid products and risk management.
Mr. Kelly joined American Express in the company’s Strategic Planning department in 1987. He was named a Vice President of Technologies in 1988 and has held a series of increasingly senior positions at the company since then.
Before joining American Express, Mr. Kelly served in a number of senior positions in government and private industry. He was head of Information Systems at the White House from 1985 to 1987, where he led the Information Processing functions for eight of the agencies that comprise the Executive Office of the President. From 1981 to 1985, he held a series of positions at PepsiCo in Information Systems and Strategic and Financial Planning.
Mr. Kelly serves on the Board of Directors of Concern Worldwide USA. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and was for 13 years a Trustee of Iona College, serving as chairman of the Development Committee. Mr. Kelly is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, serves on the Board of Directors of the Iona Preparatory School, and has served for the past 20 years as vice chairman of the Wall Street Charity Golf Classic, a major fundraising event for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He received a BA (summa cum laude) and an MBA with Honors from Iona College.
Mr. Kelly resides in New York’s Westchester County with his wife and their five children. Two of them are currently students at Boston College and will graduate in 2009 and 2011.

Henry is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of American Express, a position he assumed in October 2007. In this role he is a key advisor on strategic and financial matters worldwide. He oversees the Company’s Finance organization and represents American Express to investors, lenders and rating agencies.
From 2000 – 2007, Mr. Henry was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Consumer, Small Business and Merchant Services – American Express’ largest business segment. He played an integral role in setting strategic direction for the business, and oversaw initiatives to strengthen the unit’s financial flexibility and investment capabilities to drive growth.
Mr. Henry joined American Express in 1990 as Comptroller. He oversaw planning and capital resource allocation when the Company was composed of a diverse range of businesses, including American Express Travel Related Services, American Express Financial Advisors, American Express Bank, Shearson/Lehman Brothers and First Data Corporation
Before he joined American Express, Mr. Henry worked closely with the Company for several years in his role as a Partner at Ernst & Young, American Express' independent auditor.
Mr. Henry holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Iona College and a Master of Business Administration from Hofstra University. He is Chairman of the Molloy College Board of Trustees.
Mr. Henry and his wife have four children and reside in Rockville Centre, New York.

As Chief Marketing Officer of American Express Company, John D. Hayes is responsible for the company's customer focus and global marketing efforts.
Mr. Hayes joined American Express in May 1995 where he has been responsible for brand marketing for American Express worldwide. In this role, he contributed to the launch of over 200 new products in 8 years and was a true thought leader in the success of OPEN, American Express Small Business Network, and Blue from American Express. He led his organization in the utilization of new media and distribution channels, which offered the consumer the first ever “tri-mal cast” and “webisode”. He is the “Customer Champion” for the company and continues to oversee all market research functions. Mr. Hayes also oversees our American Express Publishing Group and the recruitment of Influencers for the company that are both part of the company’s marketing plans and the development of marketing strategies. In addition, Mr. Hayes inspires and educates employees worldwide about the importance of the American Express brand and promise.
Prior to joining American Express, Mr. Hayes spent over 20 years in the brand and advertising industry. He was President of Lowe & Partners and led the company to unprecedented growth through his work with clients, such as Coca Cola. His focus for Coca Cola Company, on the Diet Coke brand resulted to the reversal of its market share decline, and the achievement of double-digit growth for the 35 year-old Sprite brand. He also has held senior positions at Ammirati & Puris and Saatchi & Saatchi Compton. In addition, he has led the development of product position and global campaigns for Citibank, Aetna, Proctor and Gamble, Prudential Insurance, RJR Nabisco, Mercedes-Benz and Reebok.

Steve Squeri graduated from Monsignor McClancy Memorial High School in 1977. While at McClancy, he was a member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish National Honor Society and the Basketball Team. Upon graduation, Steve attended Manhattan College where he earned his B.S. degree in Accounting and Computer Science, as well as an M.B.A. in Finance.
As a member of the American Express Executive Leadership Team, Steve functions in two distinct roles. He serves as Chief Information Officer with responsibility for leading the Global Technology Team. He also serves as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development, overseeing mergers and acquisitions for the company.
Steve joined American Express in 1985 and has held positions of increasing responsibility, including President of Establishment Services North America and President of Global Commercial Card. Before joining American Express, Steve spent four years as a management consultant at Arthur Andersen and Company.
In addition to his corporate role, Steve is an active supporter in the local community. He remains involved at Monsignor McClancy, serving as a member of the Board of Governors. David Lowy is the Director of Product Management with OPEN from American Express®, the division dedicated to small business. David develops and manages products for small businesses and was one of the inventors of the innovative Plum Card, launched in late 2007. He currently oversees OPEN's Premium Portfolios. Prior to American Express, he held strategic marketing positions with Siebel Systems and with Taylor Rafferty, a cross-border financial communications firm.
David graduated from Cornell University in 1997 and received his MBA from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business in 2003. At Ross, he and his team were awarded first prize in the ‘Dare to Dream' entrepreneurial business competition, winning the largest ever grant for their new business idea and plan.

"Ronald A. Williams is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aetna Inc. Under his leadership, Aetna has sought to make a positive impact on health care in America by serving as a catalyst for change. Joining Aetna in 2001, Mr. Williams has focused on creating innovation in the industry, helping make possible new levels of transparency in the health care system. He was named CEO in February 2006 and Chairman of the Board in October 2006. Williams is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aetna Inc., a leading diversified health care benefits company, which had revenue of approximately $27.6 billion in 2007. Under his leadership, Aetna has sought to make a positive impact on health care in America by serving as a catalyst for change, focusing the industry, public policy leaders, physicians and employers on issues aimed at increasing access and affordability.
Joining Aetna in 2001, Mr. Williams has focused on creating innovation in the industry, especially through information technology, and bringing new levels of transparency to the health care system. In September 2001, Aetna became the first national insurer to offer a consumer-directed health plan. In August 2005, Aetna’s launch of a new online consumer tool to view physician-specific price information was widely recognized as the beginning of a new era of transparency in the health care marketplace. More recently, Aetna led the effort to develop industry standards for electronic personal health records, which provide a new way for consumers to be more engaged in their health care.
In 2002, Mr. Williams was named President and joined Aetna’s Board. He was named CEO in February 2006 and Chairman of the Board in October 2006. Throughout his Aetna career, Mr. Williams has been outspoken in making the business case for quality in health care. He guided efforts to create Aetna’s Aexcel network to provide access to cost-effective, quality care in high-cost specialties.
Mr. Williams also is a strong proponent of meaningful health care reform. He was an early advocate in calling for an individual coverage requirement to expand access to health care and provide assistance to those who truly cannot afford it. He has championed specific reforms in op-ed articles he authored or co-authored in The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, The Financial Times and the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.
Mr. Williams also lends his time and expertise to a number of organizations, such as the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare, which he currently chairs. He is a trustee of The Conference Board and the Connecticut Science Center Board. In January 2007, he was elected to the Board of Directors of American Express Company, and in October 2008, he was elected a vice chairman of The Business Council. At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he serves on the MIT North America Executive Board. He is a member of the Alfred P. Sloan Management Society, the Business Roundtable, the International Federation of Health Plans, the Healthcare Leadership Council and the National Intelligence Senior Advisory Group.
Prior to joining Aetna, Mr. Williams was Group President of the Large Group Division at WellPoint Health Networks Inc. and President of the company’s Blue Cross of California subsidiary. Mr. Williams joined Blue Cross of California in 1987 and accepted a series of increasingly prominent roles. Previously, Mr. Williams was co-founder and Senior Vice President at Vista Health Corp., group marketing executive at Control Data Corp., and President and co-founder of Integrative Systems.
Mr. Williams is a graduate of Roosevelt University and holds an M.S. in Management from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. hnology, he serves on the MIT North America Executive Board. Ursula M. Burns is chief executive officer of Xerox Corporation. In May 2009, the Xerox Board of Directors named Burns chief executive officer, effective July 1, succeeding Anne Mulcahy who is retiring from the CEO role. Burns is also a member of the Xerox Board of Directors, elected in April 2007.
Burns joined Xerox in 1980 as a mechanical engineering summer intern and later assumed roles in product development and planning. From 1992 through 2000, Burns led several business teams including the office color and fax business and office network printing business. In 2000, she was named senior vice president, Corporate Strategic Services, heading up manufacturing and supply chain operations. She then took on the broader role of leading Xerox's global research as well as product development, marketing and delivery. In April 2007, Burns was named president of Xerox, expanding her leadership to also include the company's IT organization, corporate strategy, human resources, corporate marketing and global accounts.
Burns earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Polytechnic Institute of NYU and a master of science degree in mechanical engineering from Columbia University. She serves on professional and community boards, including American Express Corp., CASA - (The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse) at Columbia University, FIRST - (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), National Academy Foundation, MIT, the U.S. Olympic Committee and the University of Rochester.
