American General

Karen has spent over 10 years in the Human Resources field. She has worked as a Human Resources generalist at Lord & Taylor Department store and The University of Texas Health Science Center. The last few years have been spent working specifically in employee benefits planning and design for Houston Lighting & Power (now Reliant Energy) and the American General Corporation. Karen is currently the Health & Welfare Manager at American General's corporate office in Houston. She holds a M.S. degree from Houston Baptist University and a B.A. degree from Baylor University.

Alan Carrier, PK 175, Hails from Wisconsin (Green Bay area), Graduated in 2003 BS degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Economics. Chris is a dedicated Teke -- as Big "D" put it "Alan bleeds Teke" -- he served the fraternity as Epi-Prytanis (2001-2002), Rush Chairman Fall 2001, Spring 2003, Social Chair 2003. Member of Order of Omega (Honorary Greek Frraternity). Attended the Regional Leadership Conference in February 2003. Alan has moved to California in the Summer of 2003 to work for AMPAC Insurance Marketing where he is a captive agent with American General which is under AIG.His career prospect are looking bright and he likes California.
