Professor Collins serves as GNS's Chief Scientific Officer and the co-chair of GNS's Scientific Advisory Board. He is a University Professor, Professor of Biomedical Engineering, and the Co-Director at Center for BioDynamics at Boston University, and was a founder of Cellicon Biotechnologies. Professor Collins' research focuses on developing and implementing techniques and concepts from nonlinear dynamics and statistical physics to study and improve the function of physiological and biological systems. Professor Collins has received a number of awards, including a Rhodes Scholarship, the American Society of Biomechanics Young Scientist Award, and being selected for Technology Review's TR100 - 100 top young innovators in science and technology. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles and 200 conference abstracts. Professor Collins has received research support from the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, the Whitaker Foundation, the Department of Energy, the Department of Education, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Office of Naval Research. In 2003, Professor Collins received a MacArthur Fellowship (a "Genius Award"), and in 2005 he was selected for the Scientific American 50 - top 50 outstanding leaders in science and technology.

Dr. Jackson, age 62, has served as a director of NYSE Euronext and its predecessors since November 2003. Dr. Jackson is also the chairperson of the board of directors of NYSE Regulation and serves on the Board of Governors of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Dr. Jackson has been president of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute since 1999. From 1995 to 1999, she was chairman of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Dr. Jackson also serves as a director of Federal Express Corporation, Public Service Enterprise Group Incorporated, Marathon Oil Corporation, International Business Machines Corporation and Medtronic, Inc. (all U.S. corporations). Dr. Jackson is both a former president and chairman of the board of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). She is also a member of the National Academy of Engineering, the American Philosophical Society and is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a number of other professional organizations. Dr. Jackson serves as a trustee of the Brookings Institution and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. She is a life member of the M.I.T. Corporation (the M.I.T. Board of Trustees).

Dr. Yariv is a member of the American Physical Society, Phi Beta Kappa, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the National Academy of Engineering, the National Academy of Sciences, a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Optical Society of America. He was the recipient of the 1980 Quantum Electronics Award of the IEEE, the 1985 University of Pennsylvania Pender Award, the 1986 Optical Society of America Ives Medal, the 1992 Harvey Prize, the 1998 OSA Beller Medal and received an Honorary Doctorate, December 2000 from Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. Dr. Yariv was a founder and chairman-of-the-board of ORTEL Corporation (acquired by Lucent Technologies), and is a founder and a board member of Arroyo Optics Inc.

A co-founder of ICx, Mark Mills has been intimately involved in the strategic roadmap for ICx's core technologies and acquisitions. Mr. Mills is a founding partner of Digital Power Capital LLC, a Wexford Capital fund. Previously, Mr. Mills was a technology advisor for Banc of America Securities, and a co-author of the tech investment newsletter, the Huber-Mills Digital Power Report, published by Forbes, and the Gilder Group. Earlier he founded and ran an energy technology consulting firm and served as a staff consultant to President Reagan's White House Science Office. He holds a degree in physics from Queen's University, Canada.
