Eric Wintemute, AMVAC's President and American Vanguard Corporation's Chief Executive Officer was elected to this post in mid-1994. Mr. Wintemute joined the company in January 1994 as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and a member of the Board of Directors following American Vanguard's acquisition of GemChem Inc., a national and international chemical distribution company he co-founded in 1991. From 1977 to 1982, he worked for AMVAC in a variety of sales, purchasing, and production control capacities. As a Vice President and Director of R.W. Greeff & Co. from 1982 to 1991, Mr. Wintemute oversaw the national and international distribution of key AMVAC chemical products. Mr. Wintemute holds a Bachelors of Science in Economics from the University of California, San Diego.

Mr. Barry has served American Vanguard Corporation and its wholly-owned subsidiaries since 1987. He was appointed Treasurer in July 1994. Mr. Barry has also served as Vice President and Assistant Secretary since 1990. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Barry was the chief financial executive of several public and private companies. Mr. Barry has a Bachelor's degree in accounting from A.P.U., and is completing a Masters of Accountancy in Taxation program at the Washington School of Law.

Chris Hildreth has significant sales and management experience in the agricultural industry. From 1993 - 2001, he served as General Manager UAP Canada. From 2001-2002, during a period of reorganization, Mr. Hildreth held various executive positions at UAP, including Executive Vice President - International, President & general Manager - Distribution, and President - Products Company. Mr. Hildreth holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics and Business Administration from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada.

Glen Johnson was previously the North American Senior Marketing Manager for Contract Sales at Zeneca Ag Products where he had also been in charge of product acquisition and licensing for North America. Mr. Johnson was a key person at Zeneca and was directly involved in AMVAC's new Product Development Department and is responsible for the global acquisitions and business development activities for the Company. He has over twenty years experience in sales and marketing, acquisition and licensing, market development and field research and development with three multinational agrochemical companies. Mr. Johnson holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry and a masters of Science degree in Plant Chemistry from Northern Arizona University.

Doug Ashmore is the Vice President and Director of Manufacturing for AMVAC's production facilities, responsible for plant operations, production scheduling, engineering, transportation, maintenance and purchasing. Mr. Ashmore joined AMVAC in 1988 from Chapman Engineering Inc., where he served as General Manager of Production Equipment from 1974 to 1988. Mr. Ashmore holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Texas A&M University.

Timothy Donnelly brings to American Vanguard an impressive 19-year background in law. Most recently, he served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at DDi Corp. (Nasdaq: DDIC), a publicly held printed circuit board manufacturer, since June 2000. Mr. Donnelly managed a broad array of legal responsibilities including business plan and strategy development, SEC filings, M&A, Sarbanes-Oxely compliance, corporate governance issues, securities offerings and private placements, as well as negotiations with the EPA. Prior to that, from 1991 – 2000, he served as Assistant General Counsel at Rockwell International Corporation where he handled M&A, various licensing agreements and corporate litigation for the company. From 1986 – 1990, Mr. Donnelly was an Associate with the law firm Latham & Watkins where his responsibilities included corporate transactional work and civil litigation. Mr. Donnelly holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from John Carroll University and a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University Law School.

Dr. Bill Feiler joined AMVAC in 1985 and is responsible for research and development, quality control and overall environmental, health and safety regulations compliance. Prior to joining AMVAC, Dr. Feiler held positions with Monsanto Corporation, Ethyl Corporation and Washington University. Dr. Feiler holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Florida.

As Director of Toxicology, Ms. Manley manages a series of activities including toxicology testing and toxicology development strategies, risk analysis and human exposure/biomontoring studies. Prior to joining AMVAC, she was employed for 18 years by ICI companies in the United States and England in similar roles. Ms. Manley was awarded Diplomat of Royal College of Pathologist in Toxicology and received her M.Sc. in Toxicology in Birmingham, England. She received her Honors in Pharmacology/Pathology from Ewell College, London.

Ted Ramirez is a 33-year veteran of the Agricultural Crop Protection Business. Ted has held positions of increasing responsibility in sales and marketing at the former Ciba-Geigy Agricultural Division (now Syngenta) and at the former Bayer Corporation; Agricultural Division (now Bayer Crop Science). In his most recent position prior to joining AMVAC, Mr. Ramirez was the Manager of Marketing and Sales for Export, Technicals, Intermediates and Mature Products Business for Bayer Corporation. Mr. Ramirez is responsible for Short and Long Term Strategic Product and Crop Portfolio Marketing and Planning. In addition, his duties include coordination of communication and market research activities to support market strategies and tactics. Mr. Ramirez holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture from New Mexico State University.

Alfredo Pelaez is the Director of International Business for Amvac Chemical. Alfredo is a native of Colombia and is a U.S. citizen. He has worked in the agricultural chemicals and professional horticulture industries in the USA for the past 25 years. Previous to joining AMVAC in June of 2000, Alfredo was Director of Business for The Scotts Company in Latin America and Global Marketing Manager for Insecticides for FMC Corporation. Alfredo has a degree in Agronomy from the National University of Colombia and a Master of Sciences in Plant Pathology from the University of Minnesota.

Glen Anderson manages all aspects of the company's customer service activities, which include the administration of our Order Entry Call Center, Distribution Programs & Services, and logistical resources. Prior to joining AMVAC, Mr. Anderson spent 12 years in the petroleum industry serving in administrative and distribution management capacities for UNOCAL. Mr. Anderson earned his Bachelor of Science from SUNY (Potsdam) and his Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.

In 2001, John A. Immaraju assumed the responsibilities of Manager, International Product Development and relocated to our corporate offices in Newport Beach, California. John joined AMVAC in 1999 as Product Manager for the Azadirachtin line of products. Prior to joining AMVAC, John was responsible for developing line of the biorational products for specialty market applications in Fortune Biotech's and AgriDyne Technologies, Inc.. In addition, he also worked for Union Carbide as a Field Supervisor. John has 13 years experience in the agrochemical industry and has published over 20 research articles in insecticide resistance management and product development. John holds a Masters of Science degree and a Doctorate degree both in Entomology, from the University of California, Riverside.

Jon Wood is responsible for the implementation of domestic product registration strategies and ensures that the Company's products are in compliance with U.S. EPA and state regulations. Prior to joining AMVAC, Wood was ENTEK Corporation's Registration Manager, and Senior Research Scientist with UNOCAL's Agricultural Chemicals Research Group, where he was employed for 15 years. Jon received his Bachelors of Science degree in Zoology from California State University, Long Beach, and his Masters of Business Administration degree from California Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Ann Taylor is Manager of the UK office and Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager. The UK office is responsible for obtaining product registrations world-wide, outside the USA, Mexico and Canada. Prior to joining AMVAC in 1995, Ann worked for the UK regulatory authority, the Pesticides Safety Directorate as Senior Scientific Officer. Ann has an Honours degree in Botany, and an M.Sc. in Crop Protection (Weed Science) from the University of London, Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine.

Chad Savery assists customers with AMVAC's Bidrin, Folex, PCNB, Discipline and Metam products. His sales area includes Mississippi, Missouri, Louisiana, Northern Alabama and Tennessee. Prior to joining AMVAC, Chad worked at McRight Agricultural Management and Jimmy Sanders Seed Company. Chad received his Bachelors of Science degree in Agricultural Business from Mississippi State University.

Charles van der Mersch joined AMVAC in May of 1998. He holds the position of General Manager Quimica Amvac de Mexico SA DE CV. Prior to joining AMVAC, Charles was employed for over thirteen years with Zeneca ICI Crop Protection in Mexico, as Crop Protection Business Manager. Charles received his Bachelors of Science degree from Monterey Technical Institute in Business Administration.

Graciela Galvan is the International Sales and Marketing Assistant for Amvac Chemical. Graciela is a US Citizen native of Lima Perú where she graduated in Law at the National University. She also completed advance studies in English and French in Peru and attended Central Missouri State University under a special student-teaching fellowship. Graciela worked for the Peruvian Chamber of Industry in active promotion of the local enterprise. Previous to joining AMVAC Graciela was responsible for customer service and shipping at STC Leaders Inc in Irvine CA.

John Orr is the Product Development Specialist for the company’s Northern Region, based in the Boise, Idaho area. John joined AMVAC in 2004 after 20 years with Syngenta Crop Protection, Inc., most recently as a Research and Development Scientist. While at Syngenta he held numerous technical service and R&D positions. Prior to Syngenta, John worked for BASF Corp. for 12 years in R & D, technical services and sales so he brings a wealth of technical research and practical agricultural experience to the company. John is responsible for field research and development of the company’s line of products used on potatoes, turf, and various fruit and vegetable crops across the northern tier of states extending from the Pacific Ocean to the Great Lakes. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Agriculture from Murray State University (Kentucky) and a Master of Science degree in Agronomy/Weed Science from the University of Arkansas.

Kyle has over 10 years of sales experience in the agricultural industry and is the commercial product manager for the NAA growth regulator product line. He provides strategic technical assistance and sales support to AMVAC customers in Washington and Oregon. Prior to joining AMVAC in 1999, Kyle worked for Dow AgroSciences in soil and structural fumigants. He was later promoted to a marketing position at Dow's Urban Pest Division in Indianapolis. Kyle received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Business at Utah State University.

Mike Moore, one of AMVAC's most seasoned professionals, provides AMVAC and its customers with over 27 years experience in the agricultural chemical industry. In addition to his responsibilities as Regional Manager for California-Arizona, Mike has Product Manager responsibility for the Dibrom® Product line. Prior to joining AMVAC, Mike worked for Shell Chemical as a Manufacturer's Representative and at PureGro as National Marketing Director. Mike earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Soil Science from California State University, San Luis Obispo.

Mike Thorton is located in the Boise, ID area, and serves as Product Development Specialist for the Northern Region. He conducts field trials in cooperation with industry partners throughout the region and assists sales efforts through training and technical support activities. Mike has over 20 years experience in potato and other row crop production systems. Prior to joining AMVAC, he managed the research activities for Monsanto's NatureMark Potato division, and also, has worked as a research and extension specialist for both the University of Idaho and Colorado State University. Mike received his Bachelors of Science degree in Horticulture from Washington State University, completed a Masters of Science degree at Colorado State University, and holds a Ph.D. degree in Plant Sciences from the University of Idaho.

Nicolas Vincent is the Sales and Marketing Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Nicolás is a native from Spain and a French citizen. He has worked in the area of agricultural chemicals for more than 15 years. Previous to joining AMVAC in April of 2004, Nicolas worked for Belchim Crop Protection in the capacity of Operational Manager in France and Country Manager for FMC France. Nicolas has a degree in Biology with speciality in agronomy from Lyon University in France.

Paul Vaculin is located in the Memphis, TN area and serves as AMVAC's technical resource for the Southern Region. His responsibilities include managing field research and development projects and assisting the sales effort through training and technical support activities. Prior to joining AMVAC, Paul worked for American Cyanamid Company, holding positions in Technical Service, Sales and Account Management throughout the South and Midwest. Vaculin holds a B.S. and an M.S. degree in Agronomy from Texas A & M University.

Richard Porter is responsible for AMVAC’s product development and technical service activities including the SmartBox® delivery system for corn soil insecticides supporting the sales team in the Midwest Region. Mr. Porter’s extensive experience in the crop protection industry includes field development, technical service, sales training, and managing regulatory issues for a diverse product line in both row crop and specialty crop markets. Mr. Porter holds a B.S. degree in Natural Resources from the University of Connecticut and an M.S. degree in Plant Pathology from Pennsylvania State University.

"Glenn A. Wintemute has served as Co-Chairman of the Board since July 1994. Mr. Wintemute served as President of the Company and all operating subsidiaries from 1984 to July 1994 and was elected a director in 1971. He served as President of Amvac Chemical Corporation (“AMVAC”) from 1963 to July 1994. He is also the father of Eric G. Wintemute, the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Age 84.

"Herbert A. Kraft has served as Co-Chairman of the Board since July 1994. Mr. Kraft served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer from 1969 to July 1994. Age 85.

"Carl R. Soderlind has served as a director since June 2000. Mr. Soderlind served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Golden Bear Oil Specialties, a producer of niche specialty oil and chemical products used in a variety of industrial applications from 1997 to 2001. From 1961 to 1996 he served in various capacities of Witco Corporation, with his most recent position being Senior Executive Vice President and member of the Management Committee. Age 75.

Lawrence S. Clark has served as a director since 2006. Mr. Clark is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Legendary Pictures, a motion picture production company that develops, co-produces and co-finances major motion pictures in partnership with Warner Bros. and has served in that capacity since 2004. From 2003 - 2004 he provided financial and corporate development consulting services to media and entertainment clients. From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Clark was the Chief Financial Officer of Creative Artists Agency, a leading entertainment talent, literary and marketing agency. From 1997 to 2000, he served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development for Sony Pictures Entertainment. Mr. Clark was Director—International for The Carlyle Group, a private equity firm, from 1995 to 1997. In 1992, he co-founded Global Film Equity Corp., which provided strategic, business advisory and capital raising services to media companies. From 1989 to 1992, Mr. Clark was Vice President, Corporate Finance at Salomon Brothers, Inc. Prior to that, he was a Corporate Finance Associate at Goldman Sachs & Co. from 1987 to 1989. Age 50.
