Analysis Group Managing Principal John Jarosz testified at a post-trial damages hearing on behalf of the defendant in a patent infringement case involving coaxial cable connectors. The plaintiff had prevailed at the original trial, at which Analysis Group did not testify, and was awarded $1.4 million in damages for the infringement period. Following the trial, a hearing was held to account for subsequent damages. Mr. Jarosz, working with Analysis Group Vice President Christopher Borek, submitted an expert report and testified as to the nature and amount of appropriate direct and indirect costs to be deducted from the infringing revenues. The court adopted Mr. Jarosz's approach and calculations, awarding plaintiff less than half of what it had requested. Analysis Group worked with attorneys from Troutman Sanders.
