Anchor Glass Container Corporation came into existence a little more than two decades ago, but its oldest plant in Salem, NJ dates back to the late 1800's. Corporate consolidations, buyouts, acquisitions, and name changes created the Anchor we know today. Anchor currently operates eight glass plants, a machine repair facility, and a mould making facility across the country and is headquartered in Tampa, FL.
