Rodney A. Young has over 25 years in the medical device, manufacturing and pharmaceutical fields. Prior to joining Angeion Corporation as Executive Vice President in July 2004, Mr. Young had served as a consultant. Prior to consulting, Mr. Young was a director, Chief Executive Officer and President of LecTec Corporation from August 1996 until July 2003 and Chair of LecTec from November 1996 until July 2003. Prior to his employment at LecTec, Mr. Young served at Baxter International, Inc. in various management roles, most recently as Vice President and General Manager of the Specialized Distribution Division. Mr. Young previously held a variety of sales and marketing positions at 3M Company and Upjohn. Mr. Young also serves as a director of Delta Dental of Minnesota, Allina Health Systems and Health Fitness Corporation. Mr. Young was appointed as a director, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective November 1, 2004.

William J. Kullback was appointed Angeion’s Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President on March 17, 2008. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Kullback served as co-founder and CFO of Flex Fund Financial, a private financial services firm. From April, 2005 to May, 2006, Kullback served as CFO for the IntriCon Corporation, a publicly traded manufacturer that specializes in the high technology medical device and communications industries. Kullback also served as Senior Vice President and CFO at MedSource Technologies, Inc., a medical device outsourcer, from November, 2002 until its sale in September, 2004, and as Executive Vice President and CFO at PEMSTAR, Inc., a public engineering and manufacturing service corporation prior to that time. Mr. Kullback previously held a variety of financial and accounting positions at Crenlo, Inc., the Stant Corporation, and at Price Waterhouse. Mr. Kullback also served as a director of Reptron Electronics where he was chairman of the audit committee and involved in the sale of this publicly traded manufacturing firm. Mr. Kullback received his M.B.A. and his B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

"Philip I. Smith was named President and CEO of DGIMed Ortho, an early-stage medical device company in December of 2008. Prior to that, Mr. Smith served as Executive Vice President – Corporate Development for Vital Images, Inc. from September 2005 until August 2008. He served as Vital Images, Inc. Vice President-Marketing and Corporate Development from January 2004 until September 2005 and its Vice President-Corporate Development from February 2003 until January 2004. From April 2002 to November 2002, Mr. Smith served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Thermonix, a medical technology company. From April 2000 until April 2002, Mr. Smith was Vice President, Marketing and Corporate Development of Image-Guided Neurologics, Inc., a medical technology company. From August 1997 to February 2000, Mr. Smith was an investment banker with the medical technology group at US Bancorp Piper Jaffray. Before August 1997, Mr. Smith held senior sales positions at GE Medical Systems. Mr. Smith holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from the University of Florida, and a master of business administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Terrance J. Kapsen has over 25 years of executive experience in sales, marketing and business development, primarily with Medical Graphics Corporation, serving the cardiorespiratory and fitness markets. In 2001, he assumed the position as Vice President, Marketing & Business Development for New Leaf Health & Fitness products. From 1998 to 2001, he was Vice President, Marketing and International Sales, responsible for rebuilding international sales channels for MedGraphics products following the 1997 economic downturn and for worldwide marketing to the hospital, clinic and physicians’ office markets. Prior to that, he served Medical Graphics for a number of years as a Vice President, responsible for a series of key functions including Marketing Communications, Medical Programs and Technical Services. Prior to joining Medical Graphics, he was a scientist at the University of Minnesota Cardiopulmonary Diagnostic Laboratory. Mr. Kapsen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from St. John’s University and did post-graduate coursework in the Biomedical Engineering Division of the University of Minnesota.

Timothy P. Fitzgerald has more than thirty years of successful operations, engineering and management experience. He joined Medical Graphics Corporation in 2005 as Vice President of Operations responsible for production, engineering, purchasing and materials. From 2000 through 2004, he was at LecTec Corporation, first as Vice President of Operations and then as President and Chief Executive Officer. From 1997 to 1999, he was Chief Executive Officer of United Recycling, Inc. From 1994 to 1996, he was Vice President of Operations and Engineering for Varitronic Systems, Inc. In 1986, Mr. Fitzgerald founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of International Data Engineering, a robotics company. Before that, he served as a Vice President at Check Technology Corporation and Image Systems, Inc. In the course of his career, he has been awarded more than a dozen U.S. patents in optics and robotics.

Timothy R.J. Quinn has over 23 years experience in executive sales and marketing in the health, beauty, fitness, and consumer products areas. Prior to joining Angeion in November 2004 as Vice President of Sales for New Leaf Health and Fitness products, he served as Director of Sales and New Business Development for a privately owned, Tampa-based, haircare manufacturer. From 1998 to 2003, Mr. Quinn was Vice President and General Manager for LecTec Corporation, an over-the-counter pharmaceutical manufacturer in Minneapolis. Prior to that, he served in a variety of sales management positions including Vice President, Sales, for Redmond Products, a privately owned haircare manufacturer, and District Manager for Lederle Laboratories, a division of American Cyanamid. He began his career with the General Foods Corporation as a sales representative. Mr. Quinn earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Western Michigan University and completed the Columbia University Executive Program.

John R. Baudhuin is President and Chief Executive Officer of California-based Mad Dogg Athletics Inc., an international health and fitness company. The company manufacturers, distributes and develops fitness products and related educational programs through its offices in the United States, Italy, Switzerland and the Netherlands. With over 150,000 certified instructors and 35,000 licensed facilities, the company's SPINNING brand has a presence in 80 countries worldwide. Prior to founding MDA in 1994, Baudhuin worked as a Certified Public Accountant for Los Angeles-based Duitch, Franklin & Company, where he provided a variety of consulting and strategic planning services. An active member of the Young Presidents Organization, Baudhuin received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and his MBA from Loyola Marymount University.

Jim is Chief Executive Officer of HRRC and is committed to HRRC corporate excellence. In addition to his HRRC duties, Jim is currently CEO of Halleland Health Consulting, the consulting division of the Halleland Lewis Nilan and Johnson law firm. Prior to joining Halleland he served as Chief Medical Officer of Humana, Inc., Louisville, KY, one of the country's largest health maintenance organizations. In 1994, as CEO of Medica, he negotiated a merger with Healthspan to create the Twin Cities' based integrated health care system, Allina, then served as the President of the Allina Health System until 1999. Prior to that he was chairman and chief executive officer of Physicians Health Plan that subsequently evolved to Medica, the largest health plan in Minnesota. Prior to running healthcare organizations he practiced in the area of endocrinology and metabolism for 13 years. Jim has served on a variety of private and public health provider and medical technology company boards, and is a nationally recognized leader in healthcare and frequently presents on healthcare related issues in the U.S. Jim is a Clinical Professor in the University of Minnesota School of Medicine.
