Fintan joined the board of WRI in January 2008. He is the Chairman of PLATINUM ONE, Ireland's only full service sports, sponsorship and event management agency. A former news and current affairs journalist with RTE, Fintan set up Drury Communications in 1989 and grew the company into the market leader in corporate communications in Ireland prior to selling it in 1999. Fintan is also Chairman of Paddy Power plc, a director of Anglo Irish Bank Corporation plc and a former Chairman of the RTE Authority.

Appointed a non-executive director in 2004, Gary McGann is Group Chief Executive of the Smurfit Kappa Group (formerly Chief Executive of the Jefferson Smurfit Group) and Chairman of the Dublin Airport Authority. Before joining the Jefferson Smurfit Group in 1998 as Chief Financial Officer, he held various senior executive positions in Irish industry in both the private and public sector. Gary is also President of IBEC (Irish Business Employers Council) having taken up office in mid 2004. He is also a director of Anglo Irish Bank plc and Aon McDonagh Boland.

Noel Harwerth, 60, was appointed as Senior Independent Director to Impellam Group in May 2008. Prior to that, Noel was Non-Executive Director of the Corporate Services Group since March 2005. Noel is currently a Non-Executive Director at Royal and SunAlliance Insurance Group plc, LogicaCMG plc, Partnership Director of Tube Lines Limited, Metronet Rail BCV Limited and Metronet SSL Limited, Deputy Chairman of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe Limited. Previously, Noel was Chief Operating Officer of Citibank International plc and Chief Tax Officer of Citicorp Inc, both part of Citigroup Inc.
