John joined Anite SIS in 2008 as Managing Director. John joined from Detica where he was the Director responsible for their Criminal Justice division. Prior to that John was Worldwide Managing Director of ABM, a software company that delivered police software applications worldwide. John spent a number of years working internationally where he grew a Justice & Security business in the USA and Australia. He has over 15 years experience in executive roles and over 20 years in the justice and security sectors.

Mike joined Anite in 2004 following 25 years within the healthcare IT arena. His varied career has encompassed technical, design, sales and operational management roles. After 7 years within the NHS, Mike was one of the founders of NHS IT outsourcing pioneers Data-Med, who were acquired by US healthcare giant McKesson in 1994. During a period of rapid growth within McKesson UK, Mike fulfilled a number of senior roles which culminated in three years as Managing Director.

Simon Tyrrell is Managing Director of Anite Managed Services. Simon joined Anite in 2001 following a 15-year career at Logica, the software and systems integration business. During his time at Logica, Simon was Sales Director of Logica Finance, moving to become the Managing Director of Logica Middle East in 1994. Following the dramatic growth of the Middle East business, Simon returned to the UK to become responsible for Logica's Industry Software Group.

Andrew is responsible for the financial reporting and control of the business as well as ensuring commercial agreements meet required criteria. Andrew's finance career has always been in industry and prior to joining Anite Telecoms in 2004 held senior finance positions with international technology companies.

Christopher, 48, joined the Board in February 2003. He has held senior positions in finance at Conoco, Eurotherm International plc and Critchley Group plc.

Jim joined Anite as Finance Director of its Telecoms Division in December 1999. During this time Telecoms expanded rapidly in Europe, the US, Japan and China. Before joining Telecoms Jim spent 7 years working in the IT industry in senior Finance and Commercial roles for UK and NASDAQ companies.

Mark is responsible for our managed services data centres that operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With services covering remote on-line support, on-site testing and total management, this business offers support to our customers for their mission-critical systems and applications. Having completed a Diploma in Computer Studies, Mark spent a number of years working in product development with Neilson Leisure Group before joining Anite in 1988. After holding a variety of positions, Mark was appointed Customer Services Director in 1996 and became Managed Services Director in 1998.

Neil joined Anite in 1998, working mostly in public sector sales but interspersed with consulting and management assignments. Before taking on responsibility for corporate strategy, he was in charge of the company's e-government unit. During the 1990s, Neil was in the space industry, developing techniques for interpreting large quantities of data from earth remote sensing satellites. Before that, he worked at Cambridge and London universities on polar glaciology, particularly the Antarctic ice sheet.

Paresh is a qualified accountant and holds an MBA. He has been in the IT industry for 15 years, having worked for international companies in senior European finance and business roles. He joined Anite in 2000 and heads up the Finance and broader Administration function.

After qualifying with a B.Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, Graeme took his MBA at City University Business School in London, and specialised in Marketing.Graeme has an accomplished career spanning sales, marketing and product development programmes with global experience gained in markets as diverse as Europe, Asia, Central America and the Caribbean.

Peter joined Phoenix as Non Executive Chairman in October 2004. He is also a non executive director of Anite Group plc and office2office plc. Previously, he was non executive chairman of AttentiV Systems Group plc and chief executive of Azlan Group plc. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Simon is an Engineering graduate from Cambridge University. His 25 years experience includes telecoms system operation and design with the Royal Air Force, business and sales management as Partner in Charge of PA Consulting Groups Telecoms Consulting Practice and 11 years in mobile system research and development gained in senior management positions at Motorola and NEC. Simon joined Anite in 2004.

Clay, 59, was appointed as Non-Executive Chairman in October 2005. Prior to his retirement in May 2001, he was executive Deputy Chairman of CMG (now part of LogicaCMG), having joined the board when it acquired Admiral plc, the software services company he co-founded in 1979. Clay is also Non-Executive Director and External Chairman of the Meteorological Office Board, and Non-Executive Chairman of Echo Research Limited and Close Beacon Investment Fund. He is a trustee of Economist Newspapers Limited and the Foundation for Liver Research and Director of The Test and Itchen Association Limited. Clay's other Non-Executive Directorships are British Telecommunications plc, and Herald Investment Trust plc.

Cheryl was appointed Company Secretary in October 2004. Prior to that she held company secretarial positions in a number of organisations, including ten years in a senior role at Unilever. Cheryl is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Jeremy is responsible for the IT, infrastructure and business processes within the telecoms business. With a MEng in Electronic Engineering and a practical background in IT implementation, Jeremy has held IT consultancy, sales and operational management roles within Anite Telecoms for more than 18 years. His understanding of the wider business issues enables a supportive and cost effective operational framework to be delivered. In addition to his Telecoms' responsibilities, Jeremy also heads the Anite Group-wide IT infrastructure and applications team.
