Jerry Jurgensen is chief executive officer of Nationwide, one of the largest diversified insurance and financial services companies in the world. He was elected to this position in July 2000. With an emphasis on financial discipline and an improved corporate culture, Jurgensen has led Nationwide to high levels of performance. During his tenure, Nationwide's net income has increased from $138 million in 2001 to $2 billion in 2006 and 2007. Jurgensen previously served as executive vice president of Bank One Corporation, where he headed corporate banking and commercial banking products. Prior to that, he was executive vice president of Norwest Corporation. He is a member of numerous business and civic organizations, including the boards of the Law Enforcement Foundation of Ohio, Ohio State University Hospital and Nationwide Children's Hospital. He also is a member of the Financial Services Roundtable, The Ohio Business Roundtable, The Business Roundtable, Columbus Downtown Development Corporation and The Columbus Partnership. He is co-chair of the Ohio Governor's Public-Private Collaborative Commission. Additionally, Jurgensen serves on the board of Achieve, Inc., and is a member of the Business Higher Education Forum. He also serves on the board of directors for ConAgra Foods, Inc. Jurgensen earned a bachelor's degree in finance and an MBA from Creighton University.

Mr. Brennan joined Aspreva from AnorMED Inc. where he recently held the title of Acting President & VP Business Development. Mr. Brennan also participated as an active member in AnorMED's Board of Directors, representing the management team and providing operational updates. Previously in his role as Vice President of Business Development at AnorMed, he was responsible for product strategy, marketing, corporate and strategic planning, business development, and licensing. This position also involved extensive external contact with potential collaborators in the US, EU and Japan and included most of the top 20 pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Prior to his tenure at AnorMED, Mr. Brennan held the positions of Director, Global Licensing at AstraZeneca plc in Alderley Park in the UK and Director, Business Development and Licensing at Astra Draco AB, a subsidiary within Astra AB. Mr. Brennan holds a M.Sc. in Physiology as well as a B.Sc (Hons) in Life Sciences from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario.He lectures at the Simon Frazer University MBA Biotechnology Program.

Ms. Walker has a degree in Communication Design from Johnson County Community College and 14 years experience in that field. Her additional 15+ years of experience in multiple industries (including non-profit, government, insurance, engineering, accounting, wholesale and manufacturing) gives her an ideal understanding of the requirements of business. Ms. Walker is the Owner/Designer of Intuitive Design. She is a member of several environmental organizations and has a personal goal to advance sustainable design practices in existing and new construction for the average home owner.

M Christopher DeVolder is the Director of Sustainability and an Architect and Associate for CDFM2 Architecture. Mr. DeVolder has over 10 years experience in sustainable design on the commercial and residential markets. His desire to provide a better world for his children has fueled his passion for sustainable design and renewable energy. As a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional, Mr. DeVolder has provided leadership in the sustainable design field to a diversity of clients and consultants. Mr. DeVolder serves as the Chairman of the American Institute of Architects Committee on the Environment for Kansas City. This group has put together a number of critically acclaimed seminars and programs in sustainable design the past two years. With his involvement in the Prairie Village Environmental Committee, the annual Earth Fair of Prairie Village has grown in attendance by 50% a year the last two years. He has lectured on sustainable design throughout the country and participated in the Buildings for a Livable Future workshop and the Green By Design conference. Mr. DeVolder is a member of the prestigious Centurions Leadership Program through the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, a 2 year program to develop the region s top young leaders recognized for their civic and professional accomplishments. Mr. DeVolder is the founder of zero3, a Kansas City company specializing in sustainable design and renewable energy.

Dr. Felix J. Baker has served as a director of Neurogen Corporation since May 1999. Dr. Baker is a Managing Member of Baker Bros. Advisors, LLC, which he and his brother, Julian Baker, founded in 2000. Dr. Baker's firm manages Baker Brothers Investments, a family of long-term investment funds for major university endowments and foundations, which are focused on publicly traded life sciences companies. Dr. Baker's career as a fund-manager began in 1994 when he co-founded a biotechnology investing partnership with the Tisch Family. Dr. Baker holds a B.S. and a Ph.D. in Immunology from Stanford University, where he also completed two years of medical school. He is also a director of Conjuchem Inc., Seattle Genetics, Inc., and Trimeris, Inc.
