Born in Queens, New York and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Mr. Joe Manich currently lives in Pittsburgh, PA with his family. Manich is an executive for locally headquartered ANSYS, Inc., a global innovator of simulation software and technologies. Manich has worked for ANSYS, Inc. since 1987 and currently serves as the Director of AI*Solutions Technologies. Prior to joining ANSYS, Inc., Manich worked for Bethlehem Steel Corp. in Beaumont, Texas as a Senior Engineer. He has received numerous corporate accolades for his innovation and leadership skills, bringing a multitude of revolutionary software solutions to the market place. As a professional executive, Manich works to ensure that he plays an integral role in his local community and holds an abundance of memberships and accreditation's to his name including: Chairman of the board, and previous president of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Western PA.

After graduating from Stanford University with a Master's degree in Symbolic Systems (a relative of cognitive sciences) focusing on video game interaction, Tony Tulathimutte worked as a user researcher for the casual games site ijji.com, later joining Bolt|Peters in 2007. In addition to working on user research projects for AAA, Hewlett-Packard, Harvard Business Review, ANSYS, Autodesk, and Princess Cruises, he was also the lead researcher on the player experience study for Electronic Arts' massive 2008 game, Spore. Tony is also a fiction writer, and in 2008 received an O. Henry Award for his short story, "Scenes from the Life of the Only Girl in Water Shield, Alaska." He spends his evenings luxuriating in a glycerine bath with an aged Chianti and a copy of the Collected Keats, tossing back a head of rich auburn hair and laughing, always laughing, at the caprice of the Fates.

John F. Smith has served as a Director of the Company since December 1995. Mr. Smith is currently a venture partner in Flagship Ventures, an investment group that initiates and manages companies from the earliest stage of technology innovations. Mr. Smith served as the President of Perseptive Biosystems, a life sciences company, from July 1996 to 1999, and as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Digital Equipment Corporation from 1986 through 1994. Mr. Smith is a Director of DataCore Software Corporation, a privately-held software vendor specializing in storage control, storage management and storage consolidation.

Michael Thurk has served as a Director of the Company since May 2007. Mr. Thurk is the former Chief Operating Officer of Avaya, a leading global provider of communications networks and services for businesses. Thurk has more than 30 years of data and telecommunications experience, including management positions at Ericsson, Digital Equipment and several U.S. data communications companies. At Ericsson, he was Executive Vice President, Data Backbone and Optical Networks Division. Before his assignment with Ericsson, he was president of Boston-based Xyplex Networks, a network equipment developer. Thurk was senior vice president for two years with General DataComm, with responsibility for marketing and service. Prior to that, he worked for 14 years with Digital Equipment, in senior roles and as a vice president responsible for enterprise network and telecommunications related businesses. He began his career at GTE. Mr. Thurk is also a Director of ACME Packet.

Roger Heinen has served as a member of our board of directors since September 2006. He has been a venture partner at Flagship Ventures, a venture capital firm, since April 2000. He is also a director of ANSYS, a developer of engineering simulation solutions, in addition to Progress Software, which markets and supports application development and management, and several private companies including Black Duck Software, a developer of software intellectual property compliance solutions. Heinen is vice chairman of the Maine Small Enterprise Growth Fund, a state-sponsored fund that fosters high-growth enterprises in Maine. From January 1993 until March 1996, Heinen was a senior vice president in the Developer Division of Microsoft. From December 1989 until January 1993, he served as senior vice president of Apple's Software Division. Heinen received a bachelor's degree in computer science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a S.E.P. from Stanford University, and an honorary Ph.D. from Worcester Polytechnic Institute."

Mr. Heinen received a bachelor s degree in computer science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a S.E.P. from Stanford University, and a PhD, Hon. from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Roger Heinen, Managing Director of Flagship Ventures, Cambridge, MA. Roger is a highly regarded technologist and senior executive and served as an advisor and director for a number of successful technology companies. His distinguished industrial career includes roles as Senior Vice President, Developer Division of Microsoft. Prior to that he served as Senior Vice President of the Software Division at Apple Computer and as a Corporate Consulting Engineer at Digital Equipment. His education includes a BSCS from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, SEP from Stanford University, and PhD Hon from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. In addition to helping us at Pepper Computer, Roger is currently a Director of ANSYS (Nasdaq: ANSS) and Progress Software (Nasdaq: PRGS) and several technology startups including Black Duck Software, Tira Wireless and VIEO.
