Appalachian Lumber Company is located in the rolling foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the western North Carolina town of Wilkesboro. We are approximately 90 miles northwest of Charlotte. Our company is a third-generation wood products company that was founded in 1982. We are committed to producing the highest quality hardwood flooring and paneling available. Our staff is dedicated to providing an exceptional level of custom service and we have a combined experience of over 130 years in the wood business. Our knowledge and experience in the wood business gives us the ability to source and find almost any species of wood you may want. We specialize in the unique and hard to find. Our flooring and paneling are milled to precise fitting, tongue and grove planks. We also end-match (giving all four sides of the plank flooring a tongue and groove), relief plow the backs and the boards (for stabilization), and then package in 7' nested bundles. WE are a QUALITY, not a commodity hardwood flooring manufacturer!!! Our office and plant facilities include more that 64,000 square feet of total space. We continue to grow in size and numbers and we are extremely grateful and proud to be in a business where we can serve our customers in a way that exceeds their expectations.
